I was looking to sell my house in Feb 2024 and chose Mortimers of Blackburn. The sales person Joe B who came to my house was really helpful and explained everything fully, and in no time at all the house was on the market with excellent pictures.

They have a 7 day contact centre in case the branch is closed or cannot take a call, so all calls relating to viewings always went through, and if I ever had any queries, I could always speak to somebody on the first try.

They managed every aspect of the viewings and were sensible in taking block bookings at the same time where there were multiple viewings on one day.

I received an offer in May 2024, and after some negotiation accepted it.

The next aspect was quite painful, this was no fault of Mortimers but was due to poor solicitors. Mortimers acted as a fantastic go between, putting appropriate pressure on the particularly slow ones. They kept me fully updated at all stages and were very responsive. My thanks to Joe V for doing this, he would often have to make several calls and send several emails a day towards the final stages. He was always helpful and keen to get things resolved, without his help, the whole thing would have fallen through.

If you are looking for a decent estate agent to sell your house, I would highly recommend Mortimers!
