Pleased to find the springs but ...
We were pleased to find the springs that we wanted. A little disappointed that we were obliged to buy more than we required due to a minimum order. Also Metrol was let down by their courier DPD who did not deliver although someone was in to receive the package.

Hi Jane, thanks for taking the time to leave a review, we do appreciate the frustration in having to place a minimum order of £15 for wire springs, however unfortunately due to the size and value of the product it would not be economical for us to sell these without a minimum order value at this time. Also, apologies for the courier, we do report all of the negative experiences to them so that hopefully they can improve their service, we try to work as closely as possible with them to ensure customer satisfaction.

Problems with communications
Ordered a strut over a month ago then used the web site to inform them that I had not received my order - The company did not respond. I finally called them this morning to find that they were waiting for a part before they could complete my order.
The company should have informed me at the time of ordering that the part was not in stock. Thereafter, they should have answered my inquiry. Very poor communications
After posting this review the company called me to apologise for the lack if communications, they offered an alternative item but I decided to wait. The item arrived at the beginning of March. I will write a review of the product whenever I am able to install.
I have improved my rating regarding communications following contact with the company and their sales manager who was very apologetic and helpful. My Thanks to him.

Thank you for your feedback and we can appreciate your comments. This is a difficult issue, low value items still need to arrive on time and safely, for this reason we use DPD as a dedicated courier, which in our view offer the best value and service for our customers. Unfortunately this has a cost and with low value shipments we need to charge otherwise we would make a loss on the transaction. We have used royal mail in the past, but their standard service is unreliable and we had numerous parcels that went missing.
