Trailmaster 300 arrived with shipping…

Trailmaster 300 arrived with shipping damage; instrument panel broken in half and steering shaft loose. Requested broken parts and was only sent one. My ph# has now been blocked from live persons, messages and emails unanswered. Had to order parts from another company. If you can’t work and fix these products on your own, do not buy from them. Warranty and customer service are unfortunately non-existent.

Received Damaged Product - Do Not Buy From Motobuys!

My children purchased a new 2022 Cheetah 200X from Motobuys (after working for 4 years to earn the money). We received a damaged, and non-working 2021 model.

The box it came in was horribly damaged (see photos), so I contacted Motobuys, to request a replacement. I expressed that I wanted to get a replacement because the damage to the box was so severe that there was certain to be damage to the UTV. I was told by Carlos, the manager at Motobuys, that I had to assemble the UTV first, so as to determine the extent of the damage, after which they would help us. Carlos reassured us that Motobuys would get the unit fixed or exchanged it for a replacement at no charge.

Right away I noticed damage to the body of the UTV, as well as scratches, and rust. Parts of the metal from the shipping container had been physically bent and had come in contact with the vehicle frame and caused damage as well . Every side of the UTV was hit with extreme force, prior to our receiving it. There were dents in the frame, and even damage to the underside of the vehicle (see photos), you'll see, the driver side floorboard had been completely dented and damaged, which had to take alot of force to do so. Whatever did it even sheared off the bottoms of the rubber foot pads, making them unusable.

Once assembled the vehicle ran for about 15 minutes (under 10 miles an hour as we have a governor), before it died and would not start back up. I had to take several hours off of work, to troubleshoot the issue, as Ken, the mechanic at Motobuys was only available during my regular work hours. I spent, several hours, over three days, on the phone, with Ken, trying to troubleshoot the problem, all while trying to stay positive for my children. We were able to finally get it to start, but it still dies when we go over minor bumps, and at speeds less than 10 miles an hour (about every 10 minutes or so). When it does, I have to stop what we are doing, and work on getting it up and running again.

All of this has resulted in the UTV sitting, damaged, broken, and unused in my garage, and has killed any excitement my kids have had to ride it.

I again contacted Motobuys customer service department, to have it exchanged out for an undamaged vehicle, as I was reassured by Carlos. I spoke to Ken, who said, among other things that I could take a hammer and beat the dents out of the vehicle frame. Ken blamed the shipping company for the damage, saying that "the shipping companies are horrible" and that "all the shipments are arriving damaged". I then asked for a partial refund, in the amount, equal to what they would discount a similarly damaged UTV off of their showroom floor. Ken then admitted that they wouldn't put a vehicle in that damaged of a condition on their showroom floor in the first place.

I was transferred to Carlos the Motobuys manager. I asked to exchange it for an undamaged UTV. When I asked for the replacement, I was told that I would be charged for 2 way shipping and a 15% restocking fee, in order to get another "unassembled" UTV. He again reiterated that I could bang the dents in the frame out with a hammer. Carlos, still not addressing that it is non fully functioning UTV.

This has been a horrible experience for me and my family. We did look over the reviews on Motobuys's website, but we wish we would have looked deeper at the reviews on the Better Business Bureau, Trustpilot, and SiteJabber, as those reviews paint a different picture about Motobuys. We will be adding our own review to those websites as well.

This place doesn't deserve 1star

This place doesn't deserve 1star. The first couple days I got the trailmaster challenger 4 300x at 12 I broke down and had to be towed. Come to find out it was a bad battery so I replaced it. Then the speedometer quit working just off and on. Another day goes by the muffler breaks in half. So we could still drive it but slow because it was so loud. The thing vibrated so bad we lost the gas cap. Then we were riding and we were a half block from home had 39 miles. The front rim just starts coming apart. All of the was user abuse per motobuys.com. We never even had it in dirt,we actually babies the thing because we didn't know what was going to happen next. So today Carlos the manager there and myself also my wife got into a pretty heated discussion and he finally comes back to the phone after wanting to charge us $3000 to pick it up and restock and tells us that they are going to give us a full refund but then he finds out because my wife told him that we had started a dispute with our financial institution and he said he couldn't give a refund since that had happened but she told him we would cancel that if he sent us an email saying that he was going to refund us. So we're back to square one. I should have looked at the reviews but I was anxious

I just ordered a scooter from these…

I just ordered a scooter from these people. But I have tried to call them for two days now. I have EMAILED them 4 times. No response. I'm going to cancel.my order and tell Affirm to get the money back. I'm not going thru this with this bunch

Bad quality. No support

Worst company ever. Quality of the bikes is beyond bad. The metal is so soft you can bend it with your fingers. Some parts broke for no reason and when we ordered parts we have been waiting 7 months!

Terrible service

Terrible service! Carlos was nice on the phone, but can't get hold of anyone since I paid them for my scotter. I was to give them the vin number so I could get a title.I have phoned, texted, emailed them to no a Vail.My step to file for a lost title through DmV In Texas and have them investigated for bad business. This company doesn't deserve to function and disappoint people with Thier LIES?

Good sale, terrible support

We purchased a Trailmaster 300 xrse from Motobuys. The salesman was helpful and the go kart was delivered within a week. Unfortunately the go kart does not come with any assembly instructions. Searches of YouTube proved fruitless for this model. We call Motobuys Tech Support and left several messages, we sent emails, we cannot get a response from this company. There is an assembly guide on their website, but it is incomplete and doesn't answer the questions we have. Once they get your money don't expect any support.

Ordered an atv for my nephew for…

Ordered an atv for my nephew for Christmas. It arrived with a defective transmission. Was hoping to get it resolved before Christmas. But here i am 3 months later with a $1400 pos. I tried to get help for 2 months by phone calls emails texts and got no where. After 2 months of trying to get things resolved and getting no where, i contacted PayPal and opend a dispute. Then suddenly the phone rings and motobuys was more concerned with pressureing me to close the case then actually helping. PayPal's idea of buyer protection is telling me to just mail it back and you will get a full refund. Problem is it will cost me $1,147 to ship it back. And paypal doesnt understand why thats a problem and thinks its equally fair to me the buyer and the seller. So if you want to get screwed use PayPal and buy an atv from Motobuys.

$2600 gocart that never ran. Motobuys will do nothing

Bought a trailmaster blazer 200r for grandson. It ran for approximately 70 yards then would only go in reverse. Called them and they stated I needed a new gear box.
Installed it. Ran for approximately 70 yards then simply wouldn't go.
Called motobuys for a authorized service provider. Was given 3 numbers. All three said that they would not work on it. Motobuys gave me a number to some gocart expert and he should be able to figure it out over the phone. I called. Phone went directly to voice-mail. Of course the mailbox was full.
Found a hammerhead dealer in Knoxville that would work on it [90 miles away].
They repaired it. Needed a new variable clutch, driven clutch and belt. $300. Told motobuys and they said they would not do anything.
Could say more like not returning phone calls or email. This company should not be in business.

Jefferson was Awesome

Been looking for a scooter and was hopping around to different sites to find the best price. Would email companies no replies until weeks later. Would call and be put on hold for every question I would ask. Finally dealt with Jeffersom and he was absolutely fantastic. He did better than just match the total price from another company, he offered a lower price and even is throwing in a scooter lock for me. Price is important but the person you deal with is extremely important as well. He was not pushy, extremely knowledgeable, gave me time and just a good guy overall. Thank you Jefferson!!!!

I love the Trailblazer Retro Scooter! It is very cute and rides very smooth. The free shipping and paperwork are the reason I purchased here instead of another company. The delivery was fast and hassel free. Will be purchasing from them again!

Purchased a dirt bike for my son over…

Purchased a dirt bike for my son over the phone, they assured me it was in. Stock had to call 3 days later to find out why my order was on hold. Turns out it wasn't in stock. 3 days later call back to be told their other warehouse was also sold out. I've read numerous reviews about bob being rude and horrible cust service. But I was very surprised bob and Carlos were extremely polite and helpful. Bob cancelled my order and found a bike that was a better match for my son even though a different company was selling it. My refund done in a timely manner. Even though my order didnt work out I give them 4 stars and I do tecomend them.

I would not suggest this company.

Absolutely terrible even after a very good start. We ordered an ATV on December 11, 2020. We received it on December 23, 2020, which is really good. However, we were able to ride it once, and it never started after that. My wife and I called their customer service multiple times, and we were never able to get an answer or a response. After about a month, we called our bank and disputed the charge. They gave us a 60-day waiting period for the company to reach out to us. Within about three weeks, they emailed me with a phone number to call. I called the number multiple times and even left a voicemail. I got no phone call back. After about 30 days had passed, they emailed me with return information. They never called me and never tried to actually walk us through getting the four wheeler to work, which is all we wanted. I’ll never buy from them again.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. The guy on the phone, Bob Johnson stated he was the head honcho then proceeded to yell, curse and was beyond, BEYOND, rude and condensing when I inquired about my refund. Then he hung up on me. I feel like this company is a scam.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service! Sent wrong rim Sam Hale in parts was very rude on the phone! Hung up on me and sent me a return lable with inappropriate language as my name before the return address.. Supervisor didnt seem to care.. Never do business with them! Very Unprofessional PERIOD!

Do not buy from MotoBuys

Do not buy from MotoBuys. This company is a fraud and the salesman Bob is rude and arrogant. He will not let you speak, will talk over you. Once this company has your money forget getting any kind of service after that. He would not call us back or email us. We asked for a cancellation confirmation. He hung up on us and cursed us, he told us that he did not need our f#ck#ng money. This company should not be in business.

Bad Experience in the End.

Was okay until the final paperwork. Took over a month to receive title. UTV sat in garage unable to register it. Some of their staff I dealt with were rude and not friendly. I do not recommend them and I would shop around before buying from Motobuys.com. I gave them 2 stars because they got it assembled and delivered as promised. Should send documentation with delivery or have a better system to avoid this hassle.

Motobuys.com rips people off.

I spent $3,000 on a Cazador gocart/utv from Motobuys in March 2015. The unit was delivered and has been in the shop twice since then for loss of power and other issues. When I called the company they told me I was lying and I had buyers remorse. I asked for a refund four times and they still have not made it right. They do not stand behind their products and are the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Instead of giving me a refund, they insist on having a conference call to disparage me.
