Illegally ignores UK Consumer Law!
As someone already mentioned on Trust pilot earlier, Motorola ignore UK Consumer Law, I had to get the bank involved to get back what I'm legally entitled too, shocking disregard for UK Law!!
My phone developed a fault after only a few months, sent back for repair, but came back with the same fault. As it was under 6 months old and they had a chance to repair, under UK Law you can send the device back for a Full Refund, which I requested.
Every time they incorrectly mentioned refunds are only allowed within 14 days, I mentioned their policy Does Not superseded UK Law but they just ignored this.
I gave my bank all the details and evidence and they instantly agree Motorola were in the wrong!
Watch out as these guys hope you are not clued up on your rights, and will just ignore you until you give up.
Thank goodness for article 75 (consumer law)! Know your rights and report them to your bank if you're under 6 months after purchase and they're giving you the run around.
Be warned, I for one will never buy from Motorola/ Lenovo (same company) again!

MOTOROLA SCAMMING
The worst decision buying devices I have had was with Motorola/Lenovo.
After spending €1000 on the "Falseship" Edge 30 Ultra the problems started from day one.
Clarify that I have purchased the terminal from Motorola directly from Europe on its official website. Also clarify that the payment was made to Luxembourg, a tax haven, this way we save the taxes of each country... Good
The problems began, to give an example, when on the Motorola website, in the description of the device, an official Motorola wireless charger was advertised, which Motorola does not sell anywhere on its official website (in any country!). Third-party Chinese companies do sell it, on the contrary. Then we are faced with a clear and flagrant case of misleading advertising, a marketing method with which to trap future buyers.
The central axis of this terminal was the photographic/video section. The list of problems the camera has is endless. All of us users have described it in what they call "Support", sending samples of what happens, one after another user since day one sending reports and samples of the errors, exactly one year ago today since this acid trip began.
When a user reports a problem, a technical response is not given but rather the Moto agents and the administrator, let's call him mmm... Mr. Orange or Carrot, since we do not want to use God's name in vain, simply use copy/paste responses ( This happens in all supports of all Motorola models and since Motorola was bought by Lenovo, years ago...YEARS. Reading the support forums you have good faith in what I say, not like the fakers and mocking employees of Motorola support page).
Absurd answers for the user that the only thing they serve is to give Moto time so that you get tired of them and do not return for support and give up in order to obtain real support... Or that the warranty expires its term, thus They already wash their hands for their part.
A MOST SUSPICIOUS STRATEGY, LEGALLY SPEAKING.
When a user spends, for example, a year noticing the same errors, over and over again, and the agents and Mr. Carrot decide that enough of complaining is enough, that other users should not see what they do not want Let them see, THE TRUTH...
...THEY BAN YOUR ACCOUNT FOR COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME THING EVERY DAY SINCE THERE ARE NO ARGUMENTS.
That is the strategy of deceptive marketing, of zero support, of illegal practices, of fraud, of open theft that Motorola uses, delegating support to useless dictators, when it comes to "Support" They only think about the problems of users responding vaguely, when they respond, because they also like to disappear, until the warranty expires, the user's fatigue is evident because months or even a year have passed in which there has been no response from Support or the ban without explanations they arrive.
Last year I bought two terminals for my parents, which NEVER UPDATED FIRMWARE EVEN ONCE! AND ONLY TWO SECURITY PATCHES. This has happened to me with the broken camera of the 1000 Euro mobile phone, the ghost charger that exists but they do not sell, but they advertise deceptively and the user experience on their support website, which makes me laugh to call it that, really. What the brash Mr. Rust and his minions call working.
In the past I always used Motorola lots of devices, almost all of them were, but the trust in these fools is gone.
DO THOSE GENIUS OF MARKETING AND ILLEGAL PRACTICES, INCLUDING THE SUPPORT FORUM OF THE FASCIST AND DICTATOR Mr. CARROT, THINK THAT USERS LIKE ME AFTER THIS ARE GOING TO CONTINUE PAYING HIM A SALARY?
IF THEY BELIEVE THAT USERS CAN BE STEALED TWICE, IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY INCAUTIOUS OR THEY MISS A FEW MINUTES OF COOKING.
ALSO, E-INK RUNS IN THE DIGITAL ERA WHERE IN EVERY PART OF THE WEBSITE, FORUM, BLOG, CHANNEL, ETC. LETTING MOTOROLA BE NAMED SOMEONE CAN OPEN THE EYES OF A FUTURE BUYER...WELL THOUGHT MOTOROLA. LIVING FAST MEANS FAST DEATH.
OF COURSE NEITHER MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, NOR ANYONE WHO ASKS FOR A RECOMMENDATION WILL END UP BUYING FROM THESE BRAIN THIEVES.

Where's my refund
Returned phone over a week ago and was advised refund would be processed. Not heard anything since despite reaching out to Motorola
Really frustrating as I've been a loyal customer for years.
PLEASE CAN I HAVE MY REFUND !

I bought a cheaper model Moto G31 which was great , did exactly what I wanted and had a lot of features . Recently I had a software problem. I contacted Motorola and they arranged to have it picked up, repaired and returned . I had it back in seven days working perfectly with a software update included . Would have been a five star review if it hadn't gone wrong in the first place but the service after was excellent.
Shocking customer service. Should be zero stars
Bought a Moto G31 with a 2 year guarantee. After 13 months it started smoking whilst on charge. The phone and cable had welded together. Complained to retailer who told me to raise a complaint with Motorola as they said back of phone distorted which would indicate a blown battery. After sending images to Motorola they arranged, a week later, for the phone to go to a third party repairer for assessment.
Another week would go by and I received an image of a calcified charging port which indicated a leaking battery. I was advised this was liquid ingress which was contridicted by the image of a clean port I had previously sent. I was offered the phone back unrepaired or a 20% allowance off a new phone which I declined. I have since sent 4 emails with further images and have received no replies. The level of customer service is appalling and I wish I had checked the pitiful rating on Trustpilot before purchase as they neither answer the phone or have the courtesy to answer emails. Shocking example of customer service leaving me without a phone for three weeks. Incident reported on 230903-002945
Don't use Motorola's online shop!
I ordered a new phone from the Motorola web site, which I now realize was a BIG mistake. (I could have got the same deal from e.g. John Lewis.)
It took me many attempts to buy the phone (I should have quit, I know!), mostly because the shop software (Digital River) doesn't provide a useful error message when it falls over.
But I successfully completed my transaction on Friday 25/8. Today (Tuesday 29/8) my order still hadn't moved to 'dispatched' so I used Chat to enquire.
After 2 lengthy sessions:
- "I can only confirm that the horder has not been invoiced nor dispateched." and
- "The reason why the device has not been shipped yet is because there is no customer name in the order , only a business name. "
I am still waiting for confirmation that my phone is being sent.
I buy Motorola phones from John Lewis
I buy Motorola phones from John Lewis. The phones give you a lot of power and features for low prices. I particularly like the long battery life that nearly all their phones have. My last 2 were the Moto G7 Power then the Moto G8 Power. They both were very tough, both still work well after 3 and a half years use, and via John Lewis you get better customer service and longer guarantees.
Poor Customer Service
Am locked out of my phone although I know my passcode. It's the same one I have used for a year. I am unable to get any support on this matter from either phone, email or chat. It is ridiculous. The email form asks for proof of purchase and it also ask for an IMEI number - which I cannot get when I am locked out. Really poor customer service.
Worthwhile waiting
I got the Ultra 40 for a discounted price on site.......... and received their offered Lenovo Tab for free, making the total price paid roughly £200 below RRP. There were a few problems on the way: the wait for the tablet, and the lack of clarity about how exactly to get it, but the helpdesk was useful and after quite a wait it arrived. Both products really pleasing.
Big flop
After months that my phone was ruined by the android system update, they didn't fix any problems yet.
My phone still work weird sometimes and lost personalized functionality.
Plus I tried to reset and not only didn't work but I lost all docs I saved on the phone thinking my blame that after back up I saved everything.
So I'm really disappointed from this brand and for this version g30 which promised good camera and neither this is true. I waited to see if they were putting out some sort of update to fix issues "they" created or a campaign of refund, reading the several complaints of people but none of those were implemented.
So its time to say farewell to my Motorola and buy a new phone. Thanks guys. Hope you shut down soon.
Moto E13 is crap and so is service
I previously had Motorola g model mobile and it was great so when I needed to replace I bought a moto e13 and it's the biggest waste of money. The screen won't rotate despite following advice, it won't download and keeps sticking. I've only had 3 weeks. When I tried to contact Motorola via chat you get a stupid bit who knows nothing and when put through to agent they hang up. I will never waste my money on one of these pieces of junk again
recently updated to Android 13
They recently updated to Android 13 for the China flagship version Edge X30 Pro and they maliciously blocked the 5G band, status reported by many users!
Flagship or crapship?
Bought the flagship edge 30 ultra. No updates. Still on android 12. Security updates delayed as well. The camera is so terrible it cannot even be compared to a mid range budget device from other brands. Customer care or support is non existent. Accessories, even basic items like a charger are unavailable anywhere. Even on their own website. The phone claims it supports 50 watt wireless charging, but there is no wireless charger accessible. Accessories such as cases and covers are also very limited. Terrible purchase that I regret dearly.
Purchased an Edge 30 Ultra back in…
Purchased an Edge 30 Ultra back in November.
The problem is its a buggy phone, but even worse, it's still on Android 12. It's supposed to be their flagship device.
They say they never give dates on software releases, and they keep saying "it's coming soon". It's been "coming soon" for 9 months now.
This is a brand to steer clear of and I'm sure they'll end up dropping out of the mobile market.
Worse product support and Still waiting for refund
Worse product support and Still waiting for refund after 4 weeks for a product which I am not using, Don’t buy this product or purchase online from Motorola website, Day light robbery.
Would give -5 if possible!!
Would give -5 if possible!!! Stay away from Motorola's website orders!!! I ordered a phone 4 weeks ago, decided to return it in 14 days return frame. Guess what? Impossible!! There is no email to write, only a chat or submit a contact form which is then ignored, calls are charged but despite trying of every single option Motorola didn't provide me an address to send it back and said TNT will contact me to organise collection. Second week and no TNT contact and Motorola now ignore me!!! Easy to order, impossible to return. STAY AWAY!!!
Great value phones with clean software
Motorola have some of the best value phones on the market, with very clean software that is very stable.
The android experience on my Moto G100 has been second to none, way better than any other Android "skin". It is very close to stock.
The other great thing about Moto devices would be their unlockable bootloader that does not remove any features and you can flash custom roms very easily.
My main complaint would be that they don't provide many official major android updates. But as I said, for the more popular devices there are many custom roms available. The more popular ones like the G100, Edge 20/30, have official LineageOS support.
The battery has also lasted 2 years now with no noticeable degradation. It still lasts 6-10 hours SOT (depends on usage).
Disappointing
Ordered phone at a weekend, got notification that it was being shipped first thing on Monday but no information on tracking. Nearly a week passed and tried to contact them but no email contact and their whatsapp was just a bot.
Then got a notification that it would be delivered between 9-1 on Friday, didn't come. Finally got through to a human on Whatsapp the following week but all I got was excuses, they couldn't tell me when it would arrive. I still don't have a phone.
This was a 1 star experience. The only reason it is two stars is that my previous Moto phone was a good buy, but then maybe because I was lucky and that phone had no problems, I didn't need to deal with customer service, which is almost non existent and not easy to contact.
I've had a moto razr 5g for 2 years…

G22, lock-up no Motorola assistance or change
A month ago changed to a G22 phone which is very poor performance. The poor performance which is degrading rapidly - speed, screen response and now randomly switches to accessibility mode, which does not work. Motorola support tell me it is operator error (no - I have had Motorola phones for a decade without problem), and although two phone specialist shops where I bought the phone, Motorola refuse to change the hand-set or refund. Useless product, obstructive customer service. DO NOT BUY MOTOROLA - especially newer models like G22.
