Some people were dissatisfied with the product itself, citing issues like dead pixels, app freezing, and missing advertised features. Additionally, some reviewers mentioned long response times from customer service and a lack of clear communication regarding repairs, refunds, or gift promotions. Brilliant hardware completely ruined by abysmal after-sales service and phantom stock

I want to start by saying that I absolutely love HONOR products. I bought the HONOR Magic 8 Pro and the hardware is phenomenal—it genuinely made me switch after a decade of loyalty to Samsung. Unfortunately, while their engineers deserve a 5-star rating, their UK Customer Support and supply chain management are a complete and utter disaster.

Buying from HONOR UK is a non-stop battle. First, I had to fight tooth and nail just to receive the promotional items that were promised with my initial purchase. Then, the recent keyboard saga took things to a whole new level of corporate incompetence.

I ordered the MagicPad 3 Smart Touch Keyboard. HONOR accepted my payment, ran it through their multi-step verification, and then informed me it was out of stock. Instead of solving the issue, customer support agents repeatedly tried to manipulate me into manually cancelling the order from my end (clearly to save their internal statistics). They even claimed the item was permanently discontinued, which is a blatant lie, as the keyboard remains actively listed on their UK website with a 'Notify Me' option, and the tablet itself is still being heavily promoted.

After I stood my ground and demanded a merchant-side cancellation, they finally processed my refund and threw in a £30 'goodwill' voucher. The irony? Their online store is a ghost town. Currently, there are more products sitting on 'Notify Me' status due to lack of stock than there are physical items available to buy. What good is a voucher for a store with empty shelves?

I love the tech, but I refuse to be treated like this as a consumer. If HONOR UK does not drastically improve its after-sales contact, customer support, and product availability, this will be my last purchase from them. Great hardware means nothing if the shopping experience feels like an online scam.

Totally useless company

Totally useless company. Spent £1200 on a foldable fone and the internal screen after a while became faulty and even though the fone is still under warranty, honor are saying the parts aren't covered by the warranty and want £400+ to fix it. Do not buy anything from this company.

I have had Honor phones for several…

I have had Honor phones for several years, have a Honor tablet and bought both my son's Honor phones. Recent phone Honor 400 Pro has been nothing but trouble and customer service as been awful too.

Honor only give you 14 day return window but what was initially a stable phone with MagicOS9 became awful with MagicOS 10 way after the return window.

I have nothing but connection issues, Bluetooth not connecting media in my car, android auto crashing often at a critical point when driving in unfamiliar places, system UI crashes, had none of this with Magic4 Pro.

I have tested other phones in my car with no issues. Samsung seems ok would like to try Pixel.

I have tried all sorts of resets, remove updates, even factory reset nothing works and I have completely lost faith in this device and company.

Customer service don't care, but I can trade my phone in for £132, they still sell it for £500, Amazon even offer over £100 more.

So no more Honor devices in this household I don't trust them and customer service is awful avoid if you can. I have put up with this until I can afford replacement.

Awful and heartbreaking

Awful and heartbreaking. I spend 1100 gbp on a new laptop that arrived defective, and the company will not do anything about it - their customer service is awful and my present to my wife which was meant to be a stellar laptop she can't use and is waiting in a box to be returned, with nothing back from the honor customer service. Will not buy again.

Good SmartPhones Good Quality...I had 2…

Good SmartPhones Good Quality...I had 2 Honor View 10 128 before, The quality of Honor in a word... I forgot my Honor 20 Pro 256 on the beach, and it was found in the wet sand by a vacationer. I was able to use it without any problem; It had a case, which prevented it from getting scratched. I had the version with the purple reflections. I was so happy that I bought a second one, and both still work perfectly. Today, I prefer the Honor Magic Pro and Ultra, because I'm hooked on Honor, a lesser-known but high-quality brand.

Honor has no honor

Bought Honor 400 pro 27.1.26. Frame is painted plastic, paint wearing off in 2 weeks, phone looks poor now. Design is bad, frame doesn't protect front or back glass, dropped once from bed on tile floor got back glass cracked (used samsung phones for 10 years, never had cracked screen or back glass). Iphone 12 has better cameras. Phone listens my speach and show ads from temu, facebook and etc, spying phone, I restricted microphone permissions for all apps still getting ads from my speech. Disappointed, first and last Chinese phone. Honor actually don't have a honor, they don't public true feedbacks on their official website if it's not a 5 stars. My 3 star feedbacks are pending since 22.2.26, I asked honor official why, they said we will review it, still not published. 👎 Also couldn't activate eSIM and SIM from lycamobile, had to insert SIM in my old samsung A55 activated it straight away. Really rubbish brand.

I have had the Honour 7 lite from new…

I have had the Honour 7 lite from new and today got a security update and a software update to Android 16. For a low price phone still getting updates and having some of the same features as a flagship phone. Some useful ai features like magic erase for photos.
This phone is smooth doesn't run hot.
Came with 512gb internal memory as standard. And a battery better than most flagship phones at the time of release. Will definitely be getting another Honor phone at some point.
Why spend so much on a samsung Galaxy ultra with the same amount of updates as an honor phone. With features most people will never use.
Best value for money phone I have ever bought. No more apple or samsung for me

Avoid at all costs!

I am writing this to warn others about the appalling warranty "service" provided by Honor UK. I have a faulty watch under warranty, but Honor is currently not fulfilling their legal obligations.

Honor provided a pre-paid Royal Mail "Tracked 24" return bag. I followed the instructions printed directly on the physical bag they provided, which explicitly states: "Return your parcels at any of our... Parcel Postboxes." I used a parcel postbox as instructed by the packaging. Now that the item is delayed/lost in the network, Honor is refusing to help because I don’t have a "Post Office counter receipt." They claim their internal email instructions (which I never received and told them I never received) supersede the actual written instructions on the bag they sent me.

I have provided photographic proof of the package, yet they continue to hide behind a "receipt" requirement that their own packaging rendered unnecessary. They are failing their duty of care under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If you value your consumer rights, stay away from Honor!

6 working days to send and receive broken/fixed phone

Repair summary - it was quick, only 6 working days.

I bought Honor V5 Magic at a very very good deal and was worried about repair service but that concern has now gone.

After experiencing a good repair, I recently bought Honor MagicPad2 at a discount and I am a very happy customer.

Only concern, email support could be better, as staff need to read (or watch) what troubleshooting steps have been done already - I was asked a few times, to repeat the same thing already carried out in previous emails.

See main post of problem on reddit under Honor with title of 'Honor Magic V5 3x Camera gimbal/stabilizer broken?'.

Incompatibility of Honor Devices with Microsoft Company Portal / Outlook

Subject: Formal Complaint – Incompatibility of Honor Devices with Microsoft Company Portal / Outlook

I recently purchased multiple devices from Honor:

Honor Magic V3 – Order #85050043027
Honor Pad 9 – Order #85070063212
Honor Pad 9 – Order #85070048653
Honor Magic 6 Lite – Order #85170081712
Honor Pad V9 – Order #203-9443284-9689905 (Amazon)

Unfortunately, my experience with these devices has been extremely disappointing.

My primary concern is that these devices are not compatible with Microsoft enterprise services, particularly Microsoft Outlook when used alongside Microsoft Intune Company Portal. This makes them unsuitable for professional use.

After extensive research, I discovered that several of these devices (including the Magic V3, Pad 9, and Pad V9) are not listed as Android Enterprise Recommended devices, which is a key requirement for secure corporate environments. Devices lacking this certification may face limited compatibility with enterprise features and device management policies.

Additionally, I found multiple reports from other users experiencing the same issue. For example, users report that Outlook may initially work but then stops syncing and displays “sign-in failed”, with IT departments confirming device-level incompatibility or lack of support.

There are also repeated complaints that Microsoft apps such as Outlook, Teams, and Edge either:

fail to sign in,
repeatedly sign users out, or
stop syncing after a short period.

These are not isolated incidents but appear to be a widespread compatibility problem affecting Honor devices, particularly in enterprise-managed environments.

To make matters worse, when I contacted customer support, the agent was unhelpful and dismissive, ultimately redirecting me to Microsoft rather than taking responsibility for a clear product limitation.

Summary of Issues:

Lack of Android Enterprise certification for key devices
Incompatibility with Microsoft Company Portal and Outlook
Persistent login and syncing failures
Widespread reports of similar issues from other users
Poor and unprofessional customer support experience

Disappointing Warranty Service – Device Damaged in Transit or at Repair Center

I recently sent my son’s tablet to Honor for a warranty repair regarding a screen flickering issue. To my surprise, the repair center claimed there was "visible damage" to the device, subsequently categorizing the repair as out-of-warranty.
The tablet was in excellent physical condition when it was packaged and shipped. It appears the damage occurred either during transit or while in the possession of the repair facility. I have officially raised a formal complaint with Honor to contest this decision. Until this is rectified, I cannot recommend their after-sales support.

Worst experience ever with the customer…

Worst experience ever with the customer service. I bought a pair of headphones on the honor website that after about 6 months stopped working. I contacted than the cuatomer service and I have explained the situation. They offer me to return them because still under warranty. After more than 1 month i still do not have any update, they keep telling me unhelpful information. So no headphones no money back. I will just report to the bank at this point.

Bought new 400 pro model. After 2 hrs surfing youtube. Speaker sound started bursting. Raised complained the took 10 days from send to repair.

When we received the parcel back from repair it was no repaired. Even its was not checked though. They didnt addressed the issue mainly. They returned it back by doing nothing.

This is their creep service. Till now we paid for phone but we dont have chance to use it. We didnt get what we paid for. This is the reality of big buggy brands.

I do not recommend buying from this…

I do not recommend buying from this company based on my personal experience.
I purchased a watch directly from them as part of an official order, and when it became faulty, I returned it using their official return process, RMA number, and courier label.
After that, I was informed that the watch was “not genuine.” I strongly disputed this many times, because the product was supplied by them directly and I returned the exact same device.
The case continued for several months of emails, follow-ups, and repeated contact without a fair resolution. The whole process was exhausting and caused significant stress. The way my case was handled was slow, confusing, and very unsatisfactory.
I advise anyone buying from them to keep full documentation, photos, and serial numbers from day one, because my customer service experience during a problem was very poor.
After this experience, I decided not to purchase from them again, and based on what happened to me, I would not recommend others to deal with them
