Stay away
Stay away, like from plague. Same thing as most of the other recent reviews. Faulty screen on a 3 month old device, sent for warranty repair, denied. Will never use again.
I received an order on the 28/1/26..return nightmare!
I received an order on the 28th January, the phone box was unsealed and the phone itself had obviously been previously used - marks on the phone casing. I immediately got in touch via email with motorola customer support - after a very frustrating experience with their chat bot - requesting to return the order.
I've now contacted them twice by email, three times through whatsapp, also on their Reddit channel...all I get in reply is 'thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear about your experience. We have forwarded your case to our team in your region so they can check again as to what happened regarding the return. We appreciate your patience regarding this matter'...
I've started a chargeback with my bank. Don't know if that's going to work, because I got this in reply from them, once I'd sent the chargeback form 'We must wait 15 calendar days from the date you returned the goods before we can submit your claim'...WTF am I supposed to do if Motorola are making it impossible for me to return the goods? There's no way on Earth I can afford to write-off £700!
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I've been trying to return my phone for three months, still unsuccessful. There's no customer service phone number, no one responds to emails. One day, I get a reply that my return has been approved and I have to wait for a return label. Then, no one responds for weeks, and I have to start the whole process over again.
Terrible customer service
I've had Motorola phones for the last 15 years or so and never had an issue. I just bought a new phone from them that I'm not happy with so I contacted their customer service for the first time in my life. Initially they seemed helpful when I eventually chatted with a human - the agent emailed me, told me to reply with my phone and order details and promised their returns team would be in touch soon to explain how to return the phone.
I had heard nothing further after a week so messaged again but only the bot (which is useless) was available. Then I messaged again, eventually got through to a human and was told that I just need to keep waiting until the returns team get back to me. After searching for reviews, I've realised this seems to be a common experience and the returns team never seem to actually reply. Motorola have now lost me as a customer for good, having been a brand loyalist for so long. I'll never buy another Motorola phone.
Phone ordered on 12 December 2025
Phone ordered on 12 December 2025. Dispatch on 15 December with a tracking link. Tracking showed returned to sender in the Netherlands on 19 December. It became clear that it would not arrive for Christmas so contacted Motorola via online form to cancel order on 20 December. No reply. Further email 29 December asking for refund. No reply. 31 December further email which led to reply saying they would look into it.
14 January 2026 an item arrived from Netherlands being dispatched on 5 January. Further email saying unwanted item arrived after being cancelled on 20 December. Usual reply of we'll look into it. 19 January still no contact from Motorola however an invoice from Fed Ex for £109.27 for customs duty
Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Do not buy or deal with Motorola you will regret it.

This is the worst company you can buy a phone ! The warranty doesn't cover anything! You send the phone in and they want to charge you half of what it cost! I sent it in because of some scratches on the screen and they're going to send it back with other problems! You call customer service and they laugh at you! Never buy from Motorola UK! They'll rip you off!

New Moto edge 60 no signal problem with all SIM cards. Been round in circles trying every possible solution. Fact: the phone is buggered. Fact: no customer support from Motorola.
Goodbye Moto!
Never buy directly from them
Never buy directly from them, shocking Customer service.
Late delivery, phone packaging damanged
Ordered a phone 12/12/25. UPS tracking said returned to sender 19/12/25. 6 online contact forms filed out between 21/12/25 to 6/1/26. All auto-replied saying a 24 hour response time. Not one has been responded to.
Requested a cancelation of order on 6/1/26, also ignored.
Phone arrived 9/1/26. Security seal broken, protective cover ripped, other damage to internal packaging. Online chat makes it impossible to request a return.
Abysmal customer service (or lack there of) I would appreciate a human being with some sort of competence contacting me
I really wanted to like the Razr 50…
I really wanted to like the Razr 50 Ultra after changing from my Samsung Z- Flip. There is much to still like about the device thought it is spoiled by some fundamental issues in running certain apps. There are at least 6 apps that I use on a daily basis that crash on opening. Restarting the device allows the app to function for one time only, requiring a restart before they will work again. I took this up with Motorola customer service who immediately dismissed it as an app issue and nothing to do with them. The fact that all the apps I mentioned work perfectly on 3 other Android phones in my household didn't seem to matter.
I've now taken to restarting the phone every morning and sometimes multiple times per day.
Biggest regret
I don't have many regrets, but buying a Motorola razr 60 is definitely one of them.
Hands down the worst phone I've ever used. I need to restart it at least twice a day to get it working, and I only use it to make calls, answer emails and watch tiktok.
The company itself is horrifyingly horrendous, I don't think any humans actually work there, and their AI bot is useless.
If you treasure your mental health, stay away from them!
Shocking!
Would give them zero stars if I could.
I will never buy direct with them again.
I purchased a handset that was stolen by their carrier (UPS) who forged a laughable Illegible signature. Had to jump through various loopholes via their atrocious Customer service team with several priority concerns and tickets being escalated to several members of their team. After weeks of being fobbed off and continually ignored and consequently being money down I approached my bank and logged a dispute claim, which I am pleased to say has been successful and I have my money back. Motorola dared to contest the dispute but after I submitted my evidence and proof which my bank provided them with they failed to respond. The way in which it has been handled by them is truly appalling. I've been made to feel like a criminal and a liar even with the presented facts. Very distressing ordeal.
I would encourage anyone experiencing the same issues to speak with their bank and failing that (UK customers) approach the Daily Mail. They deserve the bad press.
They do not deserve to have decent customers buying their products if this is the way they are treated.
Never again.
1 star – Appalling customer service and non-delivery
I am extremely disappointed with my experience buying directly from Motorola UK.
I ordered and paid in full for a phone on 26th November. The device was shipped but became stuck at a UPS hub in the Netherlands because Motorola failed to provide correct commercial paperwork. As a result, the phone was returned to Motorola and never delivered to me.
What followed was weeks of utter frustration. Motorola offers no effective telephone support, and their WhatsApp/online support is shockingly poor. I raised over 10 support tickets, only to receive the same copy-and-paste responses repeatedly. My cases were constantly marked as “solved” despite nothing being resolved.
Response times were painfully slow, updates were vague or non-existent, and I was even told not to contact them again while they still had my money and I had no phone. For a so-called global brand, this level of customer service is completely unacceptable.
After weeks of chasing, Motorola finally confirmed that a refund had been initiated, but only after relentless follow-ups. Even now, I am still waiting for the refund to actually arrive.
Not receiving the product at all, combined with such poor communication and delays, has been incredibly frustrating. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to think very carefully before ordering directly from Motorola.

i used to use motorola phones for few years there and at the time I can't say i had a bad experience the help page was good, but for the past seven years I have tried to go back and forth to send enquiries and badly let down, the problem on the mobile phone site is very taxing you can't send a request for an actual recommendation for a any of the mobile phones, this is truly poor, they need to revert back to the older style of help page, i do like the brand a lot but the experience unable to send a request to them for a recommendation is bad, can motorola contact me as this would be helpful
Motorola kundsupport

Hi Stefan Andersson,
Thank you for contacting Moto & Lenovo customer support.
I'm sorry to hear you've had a less than desireable experience with the retailer Elgiganten and the delays to the order of your phone.
Unfortunately we can't provide an ETA of a phone delivery before a purchase has been made. There are many factors that affect the logistics process for deliveries such as the number of orders and warehouse supply status among others. I hope you understand.
If you'd like to cancel your purchase at Elgiganten I recommend to be in contact with Elgiganten to start the cancellation process.
I'll check with our e-commerce team if we can price match the Black Friday price on your proof of purchase of 2790.00SEK for your Motorola G86 Power 5G smartphone 8/512GB. I will be in contact with you again once I get a response about the pricematching.
Shortly you may receive an email with a survey related to my work. I would be very happy about a positive rating, as well as a positive comment!
However, if you consider your issue to be unresolved upon receiving the survey, I invite you to reach out to us again, so we can make things right.
For any further assistance or information please do not hesitate to contact us, quoting your Customer Reference number which you can find at the top of this message. You can contact us Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 on (0046) 850635705) for support in Swedish.
Kind regards,
Lari
Moto & Lenovo Customer Support
Should be Zero stars
Should be Zero stars. My experience appears the same as others. I have now tried to contact them over a dozen times by email, their own chat & Whatsapp - and they refuse to provide any escalation details and any published phone numbers are unobtainable. The customer service team have proved to be untrustworthy and dishonest - repeated promises of contact within 24 hrs havent been kept, last time they told me I would definitely get a contact within the week, that has long gone. No phone delivered, but charged me for the item and nearly a month on still haven't been refunded. They are in breach of distance selling regulations so I have been forced to report to trading standards and raise a chargeback via my bank. This would have been the 5th Motorola phone in my household - definitely wont be buying another... ever. Please, please do not order from Motorola Mobility UK Direct, truly terrible customer service the worst I have ever experienced.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
I bought a phone on the website, I should have received it in 3 working days... Well.... 21 days passed by and still nothing about my purchase and even worse they don't reply to my emails asking for updates of any sort. Worst customer service ever. Even though I bought it on their official uk website, their products are shipped from Netherlands, which it makes it too hard for them to complete the simple task to deliver something in the UK. I don't know if I'm gonna get my phone or if I'm ever gonna see my money back. DO NOT BUY ON THEIR WEBSITE!
what's happening is unreal!!!!!
Worst company iv ever dealt with when…
Worst company iv ever dealt with when asking to to speak to a manager not possible so asked for one to contact me chat ended 2 times ? SHOCKING COMPANY I have to give 1 star review it should be minus 1 star buy something and your in trouble if there's a problem thanks for the worst customer service I've had in 40 years
DISGRACEFUL
ZERO, that what this company deserves to be rated not even 1 star.
I pre- ordered a Motorola Edge 70 and I paid £449.99 for it on 29/10/25, the order wasn't even available until 05/11/25 as it was a pre-order item. I changed my mind after couple of days and cancelled my order before the order was ready to be dispatched. so I was under impression that the money will not even leave my account, but to my surprise, they shipped the product despite my cancellation request and taken the money out of my account .I refused the order by calling UPS after they failed to deliver it and ask them to resend it back to the sender which they did and I have a proof ( tracking number with a recipient in Netherlands signed for it (where it was originally shipped from)
I disputed the transaction with my bank as I didn't hear anything back from them having cancelled the order on the 02/11/25 through their web page customer sales order inquiry and being replied automatically that A MEMBER OF STAFF WILL GET BACK TO YOU SOON! However, what they claim to be soon took 19 days before someone replied to my inquiry and stated that my refund will be processed within 10 days, but it didn't happen. I am still waiting for my refund and I can't talk to anyone on the phone as this company not even have a working phone number!!! I am not sure who is the Director for this company, we shall find out when I take them to court. Already working with my bank to get the money back that they refused to pay and contacted Trading Standards.
Worst company I have ever experienced
I have bought Motorola phone online at Motorola.co.uk
Asked for return and refund, I have received call from Motorola that the phone is not from them but Lenovo. Indeed the invoice is from Lenovo but the phone I have bought from Motorola.co.uk
I have contacted Lenovo they said it is not their phone. I have contacted Motorola again to only receive a promises that it is being processed to only wait for one month and still nothing.
