Motorpoint - Birmingham Reviews 

I'm highly disappointed with my visit to Motorpoint today, they're liars of sorts. I've had my part-ex vehicle valued at other garages, absolutely fine valued perfectly, however at Motorpoint they used scaremongering tactics by telling me my car has been written off. They showed me some pictures which I took photos of on my phone. I then came home and purchased a car report online from 2 different websites which state "no damage". Looks like Motorpoint wanted to rip me off and devalue my car by 50%.

I have used motorpoint in the past and I always receive excellent service from the members of staff. They were very informative and very helpful.

It was so refreshing to go to a car dealership and not be continually pestered by a sales person or bombarded with payment options. We could wander round at our leisure, get the keys for the cars we wanted to sit in etc. We were also given privacy to discuss the final part exchange figure. The sales person was courteous, respectful and professional. The hand over was a breeze too. It is now the families 'go to' for a new car.

Very friendly staff and helpful. Such a happy pleasant experience at motorpoint in Birmingham I’ll definitely be back in the future.

My experience was great at Motorpoint because of the Sales person Adil Saleem.
We looked online first the car and then went to the Birmingham store on Lichfield Road.

Adil made it very easy and clear when purchasing our chosen vehicle which was an Audi A3.
It was very straightforward and Adil made sure we knew every stage what happened
He didn’t pressure me into buying anything at all, i just knew what car i wanted.
The Audi A3 was in Burnley not at the Birmingham store, he made sure the car was still available to me.
He did everything for me from getting the Finace and car sorted to transporting to Birmingham and he kept me updated by email and phone.

Really appreciate his support and advice on getting the car.
The handover went really smoothly, we went early before our time to collect the car, we got to see and inspect everything.
Really enjoyed my experience at Motorpoint, i will and recommend Motorpoint to anyone.

Friendly salesman,knowledgeable,fast efficient service and cheap prices.Part-exchange price offered was more than other dealerships listers,Marshall’s etc
Overall would definitely return without hesitation

Having bought my car in May 2025, I was pulled over by the police for a routine check, I was advised that my two front wheel tyres were in need of replacement, having only had the car for two weeks….The kind officer gave me the benefit telling me it was a verbal advise to getting the tyres replaced.
I went back to Motorpoint and told them if my encounter with the very nice officer, they took the car round the back to the engineers, it was approximately 20 mins and my car was returned to me and I was told that the officer was “having me on”, it was probably my private number plate that did not meet the regulation for pulling me over….
Now five months on the warning light came on with regards to the tyre pressure being low, I took my car to my nearest tyre shop, who then informed me that the tyres are completely bald and need of replacing I immediately purchased two new tyres at some cost.
I went back to Motorpoint to voice my concerns if it was not for the warning light I would still be driving with very dangerous front tyres on a Audi TT Roadster and was told there is nothing to be done, there engineers had examined the tyres and they were in good working order and were within the tread limit.. the car has only travelled 2000 miles in six months……
All I can say is that for future purchases I will be buying from a main car dealership as I have always done so in the past.
As a female I feel that we are easily taken advantage of………

Have used motorpoint on 2 previous occasions and never had an issue. Customer service is topnotch.

My original contact was with Danny Tamber, he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He explained all I needed to know I was pleasantly surprised with the whole process.
My collection point was Birmingham, I was once again very impressed with your representative Dawid Kucharski, he completed all the paperwork and was happy to answer all my queries.

ANNAND was a great help and a nice person, we were impressed.

From the first enquiry call to viewing/collecting the car was nice and simple, all the staff I dealt with were excellent and very helpful, the car was exactly as described and very clean, motorpoint were far more helpful than the few main dealers I went to whilst searching for the right car! Very happy👍

Poor after service, tyre was clearly an issue when buying the car. Took it back and they are clearly not interested in helping.

Loved the greetings and the immediate offer of a free coffee (which was very nice). And I had another later. I was impressed with the waiting area.

This was possibly the easiest I’ve ever brought a car! From the moment I walked in to the moment I drove out. Every member of staff was helpful and gave me no nonsense advice and didn’t try the normal car sales tactics.

The transition from dropping my old car off to driving away with my new one was 10/10.
