DO NOT USE!! AVOID THIS BUSINESS!! 🚩🚩

I purchased a 2021 Ford Transit Custom from them after seeing it advertised online as being in “superb condition” and “wanting for nothing.” Unfortunately, shortly after purchase I discovered a serious fault with the hybrid system which was not disclosed.

When I contacted them to resolve the issue, they refused to help and stated the vehicle was “sold as seen.” They also claimed that the Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not apply to their vehicle sales, which is incorrect and very concerning for a business dealing with the public.

I was also told I would receive service history and documentation, which has not been provided.

Overall, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The vehicle was not as described, and the after-sales support has been poor. I am now having to pursue the matter further to resolve it.

I’ve emailed…. Called…. And messaged Josh the owner via his Facebook page and himself and the business are just ignoring me.

I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from this business to be very cautious

They supplied and gearbox which was faulty.
Wouldn’t refund, and have won against them in court but still not paying with a CCJ against them.

I requested a particular part for a particular year and model of a Skoda Octavia, namely the nearside swingarm / wishbone. This part is a moulded part not the normal pressed steel type.
They identified the correct swingarm, price was great, arrived in 2 days, well wrapped in bubble wrap.
All round an easy transaction, no hassle, correct part and arrived within 2days from Lancashire to dorset.
Brilliant service.

I had an amazing experience with this company from start to finish. I ordered an engine for my 2020 Audi A6, and it arrived on time—actually earlier than expected. Unfortunately, the garage I was using kept delaying the fitting week after week, which started to affect my warranty. I called Motors In Motion for help, and they offered to collect my car and fit the engine at an additional cost, even extending my warranty to cover the delays caused by the other garage. I can only say wow—nothing was ever too much for them, and they were always there to help every step of the way. Top service all round! I will definitely use them in the future for any further work I need.

From enquiring about a listing on eBay from MIM to receiving after purchase the whole process was fast and efficient. Recommend this seller. Response to questions were prompt and item arrived quickly and well packaged.

Item was as described if not better. Delivery was quick. Overall good company and communication would definitely use again. Thanks.

This company gives honest breaker’s yards the bad reputation some may have, they lie about having parts that they can’t supply them they have the brass bxxx’s to blame the curriers, and they’re refuse to give you a refund for parts they can’t supply? Read reviews and you’ll understand what I mean! They’re getting rich by ripping the public off , if you are buying from a breakers yard it is because you are trying to save money but this company takes advantage of you by ripping you off AVOIDING THIS COMPANY WILL SAVE YOU FROM LOSING YOUR MONEY AVOID AVOID AVOID if this feedback saves one person from being ripped off I will be satisfied. Great service from Motors in Motion, Worksop. Needed a part and they were spot on from start to finish — knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to deal with. The part was exactly as described and sorted quickly with no hassle.

Proper breakers with good communication and honest advice. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again.

Fantastic customer service. I used them through eBay. Part was really well priced sent out quickly and wonderfully packaged up. The delivery company messed up the delivery but the guys from Motors in Motion actually called me and sent me the delivery pictures which helped me track it down. Professional company well worth using! I will definitely be using them for all my parts needs.

Bought a gearbox from them, gearbox never turned up, every time I call “someone will call you back in 10mins” ignore emails, con artists

I ordered a QRK gearbox for my Skoda Octavia (PX64 OEU) through PartsGateway. Motor In Motion confirmed they would supply that exact part, so I paid £1,495 (£1,395 cash + £100 transfer) as they said to help me as my budget was £1500 they offered to accept the cash. When I came to collect it, they instead gave me a PYS gearbox, claiming it was “100% the same.” I declined to take it but Adam refused to refund me back my cash pressured me to take it with me or they would not guarantee it safety. Adam hit me on my arm grabbed my documents and squeezed them inside his office bin threatened to move me out of his office with his men. I was devastated and emotionally hurt with worse customer service I had with them.

After contacting Skoda UK, I was advised that PYS 0CW300046X gearbox code is not confirmed as compatible with my Skoda gearbox code QRK 0CW300047R due to internal and mechatronic differences. I asked for a refund immediately, but Motor In Motion refused to return my money and insisted I take the part.

The gearbox is still unused, and Skoda UK confirmation that it is not fit for my vehicle when I spoke with them . I have reported the matter to Citizens Advice / Trading Standards and am taking formal action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Please check independent reviews before purchasing — my experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I hope authorities will review this company’s practices to protect other customers.

Do not buy use these Cowboy’s so called Breaker/Garage.
They responded to me via Breakeryard for an engine for my wife’s Golf on speaking to Adam about the Engine and were the engine came from it was a low mileage that had 7k on it, the vehicle was rear ended which he sent me paper work to prove this with the mileage.
Speaking to Adam he even said they do mechanical work and was told that they will replace the engine at an additional cost of £1000.

What should have taken 5 days took 7 weeks I never had updates and was always having to chase them up.
The car was eventually sent back on a trailer and on receiving the vehicle back we had misfiring and the engine Managment light came on two miles into driving the vehicle. the engine replaced was not the engine that I was sold as the engine was a lot older, also parts were taken of our vehicle which had only done 30k to be replaced with older scrap parts.

Adam likes to talk the talk and tried to threaten me by saying I best be careful which proves the point when your in the wrong you retaliate.

If it was possible to leave a minus star review believe you me I would. STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this two bit cowboy company as they will offer to sell you the very best service but what you will actually receive is nothing but lies and BS. Adam who is the "God only knows in reality" who seems to think he is the God Father with his threatening attitude is laughable. His words.... "Do we know who we are talking too?" Can someone kindly please help identify this moron as he clearly doesn't seem to know who he is and is seeking clarification 🤡.
I should have read the previous reviews that clearly warns not to entertain this circus of a company. I am now at the start of a legal claim against them with ample compiled evidence which is stack against them. Thank you Adam for informing me that you have detailed CCTV footage of the work that you carried out on my car as this will now be requested as evidence to confirm the lies that you tell so well. STAY WELL CLEAR PEOPLE, cowboy central at its finest.

Sent me wrong parts, expected me to post them back, agreed to arrange courier then messed me around. Lost my money and had to spend £250 elsewhere. Wish I’d seen these reviews first.

If there was a 0 star I would have gave that !!! It has been going on for over a year now, Do not use these people they are scammers and Adam is arrogant . They are hundreds of miles away from me but when I’m in there area I will pay them a visit . Buy from a reputable place and not these they should all be wearing hats with horses out side

Con artist, send faulty parts then you call up to tell them and there make every excuse, even had a specialist look at the part and there still didn't believe him.
Got told to send part back and would get a full refund, then called up again and now saying we don't offer refunds.
