The process itself is simple and relatively quick. There are a few post-conversion tasks that you may have to go through depending upon what you have in your accounts. It would be nice if these were better signposted earlier in the process, but going through them carefully post-processing worked fine.
Watch out for non-base currency accounts as you will need to convert these to real currently accounts in Xero after the conversion.

Our interest was a little piqued as to how you thought we'd managed to crash Xero by performing a conversion.
Irrespective, this seemed a severe reaction to a conversion that reported as successful and that we'd had no previous communications with you about.
I replied indicating that we'd be happy to issue a full refund if we could establish there was a legitimate problem we couldn't resolve.
I also reviewed our records of your conversion and noticed some minor errors that could indicate something unexpected had occurred. I offered to help and investigate things further if you could provide us with some more details regarding the problem and asked you to follow our fixing process so we could look into things.
I didn't receive any reply so followed up yesterday to reiterate we'd be happy to help if you could provide more information.
No reply was received and without any elaboration, evidence, or cooperation from you there's little we can do.
If you'd like to reconsider your position and review, please reply to my support email and we'll see if we can help.

Movemybooks above and beyond expectations
Movemybooks were extremley helpful to fix our glitch, the system itself is extermely straightforward to use, however due to the vast amount of data we hit a issue, the team went above an beyond to assist with our successful migration, they are very prompt in replying although they are only open normal office hours.

Didn't advise how long the data took to migrate and that there was a maximum limit of data a day, so instead of taking 8 hours, it took 4 days!

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. It's very difficult for us to say how long an individual conversion will take as there's so many unknown factors to consider.
Whilst the number of transactions is one such factor, the number of lines per transaction and the nature of the transaction itself are also factors that afftect things.
When customers ask how long their conversion will take we often mention the average time. We try to be clear this isn't any indication for their particular conversion but just the average of all conversions.
You are correct that with some destinations there are limits to the amount of data we can send each day. These restrictions are imposed on us by the destination software and aren't things we can change. We try to be as efficient as possible when sending data over to cram as much as we can into each daily allowance.
I'm sorry we couldn't process things quicker but I hope this helps explain why.

The move from QBO to Xero was seamless
The move from QBO to Xero was seamless. The instructions were straightforward and I appreciated the guidance on verifying the the data converted to the new accounting software. Will use Movemybooks for other conversions in the future.

Transferred from Sage50 to Xero
Excellent service. Used it to transfer 5 years of company accounts from Sage50 to Xero. Everything worked as advertised. Takes a while but it is a lot of data! Note that the chart of accounts iOS a bit different and purchase orders don’t transfer. And if you have attached scanned copies of bills and invoiced to the Sage transactions, these don’t come across.

It was clarified with the John that he was referring to purchase orders and not purchase invoices. Purchase orders are not converted but purchase invoices are.

Thanks for the kind review. We noticed you mentioned that purchase invoices weren't converted. There are certain scenarios where we may need to convert the purchase invoices to different transaction types but they aren't common. We would have expected the purchase invoices to be converted from Sage50.
We were hoping you might be able to email support@movemybooks.com with screenshot examples of any transactions we have converted as replacement of the purchase invoices so we can see if there's anything we can do to improve things for you.
