Ricardo and crew were the absolute best. 3.5 hours to move all of the stuff from a 6th floor walk up and all into our new place! Zero stress as the crew took care of everything and we had a great time too - lots of joking around and good conversation. We have used Movers Not Shakers twice now and will never make the mistake of using anyone else. I wish there was an option for 10/5 stars - seriously.

My experience with Movers, not Shakers was awesome. They were very friendly and treated my belongings as if they were there own. They arrived on time and were fast. I would highly recommend them.

They were fast, careful, and friendly. Overall, it was a little expensive but worth it. I only wish they had told me that the movers would be expecting a 20% tip, and would reject any less. It lead to an awkward moment, and was the only unpleasant part of the whole move.

Wonderful group of guys. Service was exceptional; came on time; moved everything carefully and quickly. I highly recommend these movers.

Excellent company to trust with your belongings. From my first phone call to the last piece of furniture brought into my home I was in good hands. Danny and his crew arrived early, loaded up the truck and had me in my new place quickly. Everything remained in perfect condition. The guys were polite and respectful. I cannot say enough good things about Movers Not Shakers and will recommend them to everyone I know!

I can't recommend Movers, Not Shakers! enough. I moved from a 3rd floor walk up to a 4th floor walk up with an upright piano, many additional instruments, large furniture and lots of books (one mile in Brooklyn.) It was a herculean move and they did a thorough job. Wanted a company that used plastic bins, to cut down on waste (and the hassle of getting boxes, tape, and then disposing.) They have excellent customer service, and were extremely flexible. Very useful to go through the move with them on the phone, item by item, and estimate the number of bins needed. Delivered extra bins when it became clear we needed more. Were very prompt on bin delivery / pick up days, and on move day. Move went smoothly and more quickly than I expected. The guys were respectful and careful, boxed up a few lamps and wrapped a few paintings on the spot, moved things into the correct rooms, and unwrapped everything they had wrapped. Cost was reasonable. Work with these guys! It's the right move.

Starting with Greg taking my call on a Saturday and booking my move for three days later, I had the best and easiest move ever !! Jay and his crew arrived on time and do everything with a positive and cheerful attitude, even though I had several unexpected twists and turns. They had a "can do" approach which put me at ease and I was able to do something that never happens when you are moving. I relaxed!!! And Jay and his crew got it all done. No extra charges. Nothing broken. Perfection. I will use them again.

From start to finish everything was done professionally and to perfection. They truly understand that time is valuable as they maneuver through the move. I felt as if the movers were on fast-forward as the wrapped to protect my furniture and moved all of my belongings. They are by far the best moving company I have dealt with. I strongly recommend them to anyone moving and feel that by going with anyone else is a risk. It was truly a pleasure to work with them and look forward to using them when I have to move again. I will be referring them to anyone I know in need of a moving company.

The movers were amazing - friendly, efficient and professional. Our one issue was finding out at the scheduled time for them to arrive, that they would be 2 hours late. They did wind up sending a different truck so got there in a little over an hour. The quality work of the movers made up for this inconvenience.

Scheduling delays were accommodated, no problem. Difficult 120 mile one-way move with two trucks -- I had nightmares for weeks but they came in and tackled it with no complaint, no hassles because they knew what they were doing. I could not be more satisfied. I was willing to pay top dollar to get the job done right and I got what I paid for.

I had a more than straight point A to point B move and it was delayed twice. I appreciated Greg and Bri's follow ups and ability to adjust to my delays. I ended up putting stuff in storage since my new apt was not ready and they did extra stops without any complaints from the crew. All very polite and courteous.

My mother and I both used Movers Not Shakers for a two major moves and storage. The workers were kind, cooperative, and very professional. We even had to call and reschedule a couple of times due to our nightmare contractors, and Movers Not Shakers was very accommodating. They made our transition as smooth as it could be.
