Couldn't have been any easier

As soon as I had bought my new place I looked for a removal company. Don't know where I got movinga from now but glad I did. Got several quotes and although not the cheapest they were the best value for money. As they say you get what you pay for and I certainly did with Movinga. A trouble free move. My moving date was put back several times and every time I notified them they said it was no problem and sounded so genuine it put me at my ease. Moving is normally full of hassle. I'd definitely recommend them.

don't be fooled by slick marketing - movinga are hopeless novices

Movinga have just cancelled my international removal with only 2 weeks to go (giving a very weak excuse). I cannot emphasize enough what a poor level of service they have provided since I first made the booking more than 6 weeks ago. Bastian Knutzen & Chris Maslowski (founders) – did you write your own LinkedIn blurb for Movinga? “Our mission is simple: to provide the best end-to-end moving experience. How do we achieve this? We are 100% transparent. We have the easiest booking process around. And our customer service is quite simply the new industry standard in excellence”. If so, I would seriously question your ability to honour these claims because I (like many others) have not had anything like the service you promise on LinkedIn or the Movinga web site. “New industry standard in excellence” Ha! My backside!! I see also from many Google reviews that the staff turnover at Movinga seems quite high given the amount of negative feedback you are receiving from your ex-employees. What a poor excuse for a company this is - failing to deliver on all counts, playing around with people’s lives, emotions and money. Stay well clear of Movinga and move with the professionals –Movinga are total novices & completely out of their depth in the removal business

Super Friendly And Super Helpful

Just finished my move with the movinga team.
What can I say but THANK YOU! From start to finish the movinga team were helpful, friendly and professional. I had valuable items that I was so worried about and you took such care and everything got delivered in perfect condition.

The movers packed all my items with care, and were on time and lovely. The staff on the phones made my move so easy and checked in with me before and after my move making sure it went well.

Moved everything without issues, but some minor confusion

I needed to move a few boxes a long distance, and I was pleased with Movinga's ability to arrange the journey on quite short notice at a decent price. There was some confused communication during the move when my details were mixed up with another customer (I was told they were waiting outside my house several hours before they were due to arrive), so for a few minutes I wasn't sure if my things had gone to the wrong house. But it was sorted out quickly and everything arrived in perfect condition.

Mostly good

Although I had 2 telephone conversations before my move to explain exactly what was moving they still couldn't fit it all in so still had to hire a van to move stuff myself!! Otherwise the guys were friendly and everything they did move they took the utmost care

No problems

I used a site to provide me with a set of quotes from different companies for my house move from London to Leicester. I got 5 quotes back, Movinga provided the cheapest quote by a considerable margin.

The person who rang me from Movinga spent a good 20 minutes on the line with me, and went through the list of all the items I had to move in detail.

The moving guys showed up on time both ends, and moved my stuff with no issues.

If I had to nitpick, I'd point out that the arrival timeslot for my move was changed a couple of times in the days before the move, but Movinga rang to confirm this each time.

Based on my experience, I'd have no hesitation in recommending Movinga.

Awful experience!

I would definitely steer clear of this company, they just pay other people to do the work and charge you more than if you just hired someone direct.

This company are crooks. Terrible service all they do is take your booking and pay someone else to do it.

A pretty pain-free moving experience

I had a great experience with Movinga. The advisors I spoke to over the phone were all very helpful and friendly, Movinga provided the boxes I needed for my move which were delivered on time. I was kept informed every step of the way through e-mail and also calls when more information was needed/when the boxes were dispatched (which were pretty big by the way). On the day of my move, the movers arrived within the time slot that was booked and they managed to get the move done in good time considering it was going between cities. The movers were professional and they even managed to pick up a few extra things which were not in the original item list I provided, which was nice of them. The fact that payment is only taken 24 hours after the move is an added security and Movinga's quote was cheaper than other companies I had checked out. All in all an easy and surprisingly pleasant experience.

Good service - quick and efficient

Our move went smoothly and when challenges arose they were dealt with professionally and were solved promptly. From booking through to the move day, the service was great and it was also reasonably priced. Good experience from start to end.

ridiculous experience, avoid this company!

i am waiting for 1 month, at the end i contacted the final mover ( tnt) to schedule the move ( so i did the job) and the 2 operators that are "following" me asked me by email: please let me know when you will receive your stuff tomorrow so i will send you the bill: REALLY! NO APOLOGIZE , NO SORRY, NO OUCH YOU DID OUR JOB ...CONGRATS MOVINGA!

Great customer service!

An easy to manage online service. Everything went smoothly-2 great, friendly, hardworking removal team on 29/04/16.

Moving house

We recently moved house and trying to choose someone reliable and honest is a minefield in this day and age. The service we received from the start was outstanding. Very understanding and courteous too. The only thing I would say is that the removal men need to be more careful with people's things. We had a few minor damages to our property but would still recommend them .

My Best moving experience Movinga

I have moved worldwide and mostly been disappointed with the movers I have used before.
At last Movinga proved to me that there was a good, reliable customer friendly company out there.

Absolute nightmare

If you look at previous reviews of this company, you will see that, on the whole, they are either very good or very bad. Many of the very good ones seem to be written in a similar style. It's interesting that Movinga has only verified positive reviews as genuine orders, too.

Anyway, moving on...

My wife and I recently moved from Surrey to Northumberland. We contacted a few companies, including Movinga. Prior to booking, our main point of contact at Movinga was very helpful, so we decided to go ahead and give this company a go.

A few days before the move we were contacted by Movinga to confirm all the relevant details. A couple of discrepancies, but nothing that couldn't be sorted. We have card details, and Movinga confirmed that the removal team would be at our house between 9am and 11am on the day of the move. To be sure, we confirmed this again with Movinga, in writing, the day before the move.

On the day of the move, Movinga had not turned up at our house. We called and were told that the move had been booked for 3pm. Our house sale was completing that day so we had to be out by midday. We had explained this to Movinga before booking, and explained it to them again. The representative that we spoke to could not care less, and told us there was nothing we could do.

We ended up having to rent a van from a local company, so that we could move all of our stuff out of the house and keep it dry from the rain.

Fast forward a few hours, 3pm came and went. We called Movinga again, told it would be 4pm. When they didn't turn up at 4pm we were told they were 'just round the corner'. They eventually turned up at 6.25pm. Three guys, only one of whom could speak a little English - this certainly made the process of confirming everything was going to the right place really fun!

We finally left our house in Surrey at 7pm. It took us nine hours to drive to Northumberland, thanks to bank holiday traffic and a few accidents en-route.

When we arrived at our new house, we waited an hour but the removal team had still not turned up. We had made sure we got a mobile number for them before leaving Surrey. We called but no answer. By this time, we were starting to get more than a little worried about the whereabouts of our stuff.

Two and a half hours later, they arrived in a completely different van. We asked them to load everything in the garage. Partly as we were keen to get to bed following a very long day, and partly because we didn't want to spend long we than necessary unloading a van in the early hours of the morning and disturbing our new neighbours.

We called Movinga the next working day to complain. They were aware of the issues we experienced on move day, yet at no point did they ring us to make sure the removal team had arrived, or that everything was finally going to plan. We got through to the same unhelpful person we spoke to on the day of the move, who told us it wasn't Movinga's fault. There was traffic on the roads and that's why the remova guys turned up nine hours late. What was strange was that the removal team who turned up didn't seem to have been given a time by Movinga, and had done three moves before arriving with us.

We escalated the complaint and finally managed to get a refund. It honestly doesn't even come close to compensating for the extra costs we incurred by having to hire an extra van, or the additional stress that was placed on us on move day.

I would strongly urge anybody thinking about using Movinga to think again. They simply find a man with a van and then wash their hands of the situation. They couldn't care less about our situation on the day, and they have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. If you're happy with a random man with a van then book it directly yourself - cut out the middle man and save yourself some money. Otherwise, pay the little extra and go with another company. Movinga have been an absolute nightmare. Avoid them at all costs - that's my advice.

Fast and efficient

I found Movinga an excellent choice when I recently moved home. They were on time and very polite. The fact that they had 3 flights of stairs to negotiate did not faze them at all and they worked very quickly and efficiently. I would certainly use them again.
