Lack of responses it’s been almost 2 months with no resolution. I have many items lost and damaged with no settlement in site to replace what the moving company caused.

This compony is the WORST I have ever…

This compony is the WORST I have ever dealt with. They are slow, don't care at all about helping a customer. They offered me $89 as reimbursement for my move, when almost everything arrived broken. My valuable peices were never replaced and the $89 refund was insulting. You can never reach them, they take almost 2 months to have an answer for your account to be reimbursed and never answer the phone. They hang up on you if you're not getting a resolve then don't answer when you call back. They do not care at all about the way they treat you and do not value a customer. RUN!!! NEVER USE THEM!

I was referred by Homesafe Moving

I was referred by Homesafe Moving. This company sends an email with a link for completion of your claim. The link takes you to a site that asks for credit card information and then charges for various entertainment and dating site membership. They are as bad/fraudulent as Homesafe. Worthless. I continue to email their customer service with no satisfaction.

THIS IS NOT AN INSURANCE COMPANY

THIS IS NOT AN INSURANCE COMPANY. This is a fake site that a countrywide network of boiler room moving brokers refer customers to for claims processing with carriers/movers; however, the DOT FMCSA Safer sites provide the cargo insurers for each company.

The fake moving association NAOPM.org includes American Van Lines of SF dba America First Moving, formerly HomeSafe Transit who disbanded after NBC-WPTV reported on them.

IF you have been a victim of harm and/or fraud with a moving broker, carrier, carrier agent, etc., file your complaint to the DOT FMCSA, your state agency that regulates household moving, your states attorney's offices, etc. Post on BBB, Google, Yelp, etc. to protect others.

Scam

They are either very incompetent, or they make everything as hard as possible to make you give up from making a claim. And after so much time and effort from you, they produce a laughable solution. Clearly they are trying to protect the moving companies.

Throw the whole company away

Throw the whole company away.

No response for assistance with the process. Claims document says no photos are required, but your packet is rejected if you have no photos. You have to start over from the beginning. Itemizing everything with original cost of item. Photos must be labeled. In order to file a claim you must submit the photos for review before being sent claim filing procedures, so why must you resubmit them, instead of them creating a file. Communication is negligent. Assessment is 60 cent per lb, not based on value of loss. Don't sign a contract with this company listed as the claim processor. Companies that are using them are recieving reviews that are impacting their business.

Absolutely Disgusting

MovingClaims.net is not an ethical nor trustworthy business, if, in fact, it is a legitimate business at all. They make outrageous demands for the submission of a claims package, which is nearly impossible to complete online. I attempted the online process three separate times and all three had a "technical" error occur during the submission. My list of damaged and missing items alone was four pages long. Based on their recommendation, the moving company, Spartan Moving Plus, LLC, out of Frisco, TX, offered a $101 settlement for well over $5000 in damaged and missing items. When I disputed the offer and requested a review - as I was clearly allowed to do according to their own procedures - MovingClaims.net terminated their relationship with my carrier and told me to start the process all over directly with the carrier. This claim was initiated in October 2021 and just reached an offer of settlement two days ago (April 19, 2022). This company is an absolute joke and treats the claimants with condescension, arrogance, and rudeness. Prepare for disappointment and pain if your carrier refers you to this company. If I could have rated them honestly, they would have negative five stars.

Don't bother filing a claim with them, go directly to small-claims court

Movingclaims.net

Don't bother filing a claim with them, go directly to small-claims court in your jurisdiction.
They refuse to discuss my claim even they acknowledge and confirm my claim.
I've filed in Nov 2021 and after 5 months no resolution.
Missing, broken damaged items, overaged by mover 2 times of estimate.
Total damage $837.70 and $1,185.00 overcharged for packing supplies.
They demand to send all docs and oh we need “blank pages” so file is too big to send by email and oh we do not accept zip format and they will send you email you can send by mail
and oh because covid-19 we just pick up once a month, make compline in writing?
Well email is in writing and lots of them. Emails and calls to movers blocked.
As you will find out Movingclaims.net will intentionally delay your claim to past of 90 days credit card gives you to place dispute on the card. They are being paid by the moving company to do so. They completely have the moving company's interests in mind.
The BBB record is terrible.
Do not give up. It is what they expect from you. Go to small-claims court.

I wouldn't even give them one star

I wouldn't even give them one star. They change the requirements on submissions, they lost my inputs, they wont provide a printout of submissions. Disputing requires you to reclaim everything. The movers I used were subcontracted by International Vanlines. If your are moving, have IVL boycott any subs who use movingclaims.net

FRAUD

I hired a moving company, Proud American.

$ 20,000 worth of damage and loss occurred.

I was told that Movingclaims.net would resolve things. I took photos of all that was broken.
I listed items that were stolen, like my guitar.

After months I was offered $ 75.00

OUTRAGEOUS

Awful

Awful, just awful. Filed a claim, received an acknowledgement email saying they have received the completed claim and I should wait 30-60 days. At the 60 day mark I followed up only to be told they have no claim on record. I told the rep that clearly I did submit a claim as I got an acknowledgement email but she kept insisting I never submitted one. Then how did I receive an acknowledgement email?!?! Asked to speak to a manager but no one was available. Left a message asking for manager to call back but no one responded. I have also emailed multiple times - no response. Stay away from this company.

This is a completely unprofessional…

This is a completely unprofessional company. Their process involves a terrible website with tons of ads. The claim requires hours of work to gather receipts, pictures, value estimates. Then they make some ridiculous offer that doesn't cover any of the losses or broken items. They did not cover my additional losses because the movers were late and didn't deliver all my items in one shipment. For a loss of over $1000 dollars, the offered a pitiful $100. Don't waste your time. The movers were misleading saying my stuff was covered up to $10000, but don't say that this isn't even a insurance company. Its a joke.

They refuse to discuss my claim

They refuse to discuss my claim. I've filed and filed and it is now 3 months with no resolution. I filed a complaint with the BBB, Florida Dept of Ag, and the Interstate Commerce Commission as well as the attorneys general in NY and FL, among other entities. Best advice I can give you is don't bother filing a claim with them, go directly to small-claims court in your jurisdiction.
