Joe, thanks for your feedback.
We determined that the quality issues you experienced were due to a training issue with some new personnel.
As a corrective action, we have changed our training and implemented a quality coupon system which requires a supervisor or manager sign-off at each critical stage.
I'm told by production that since this issue you have received two orders without a problem.

Thank you for your comments.
We had to update our minimum order charge to cover the fixed cost of running a job (regardless of number of parts, that cost is constant).
We are willing to run any number of parts down to a single piece, but below the minimum we cannot operate at a profit.
We are, however, looking into automation that might allow us to reduce fixed costs.
