Awful taste

I have been using them for quite a while but I had a disappointing experience lately.
I bought a St Peter Indian pale ale and reported a issue on the taste.
The reply was that I must have done something wrong in the making without considering The fact that perhaps the hop could not be good and giving then a very bitter taste on the beer. I had issues with the yeast before but that was a easy fix, just bought new yeast and the fermantation started. That’s why I think that something could have been wrong with the product.
Now I have 23 litres of beer undrinkable and I didn’t ask for a refund I just wanted to discuss the isssue.
So I am very disappointed this time.

With the reply I had it is down on the making . Oh well… very disappointing ..
Can’t remember the colour or odour of the hop in the making , didn’t look…. But anyone it is past now I have better things to do

We have reached out to you again to better investigate and discuss the issue in more detail. Any alteration in the hops is typically easy to identify at the moment of opening (for example, brown coloration, unpleasant odor, etc.). For this reason, it is more likely that the issue may be related to the brewing process itself, which is both lengthy and chemically complex.
That said, we remain fully available to support you and to look into this further together.

Fantastic customer service

First i bought a mill but I live in the UK and many EU suppliers no longer supply to UK. No problem for Mr malt. Everything very fast and efficient. All queries answered rapidly in English.
Second ihad a technical query after delivery. Again Christian responded quickly and got an answer from his supplier in a couple of days.
So overall fantastic service.

Terrible communication and conflictual customer representatives

Terrible experience, Avoid if possible. Placed an order of almost 3 thousand euros on the 10th of april, and due to the fact that they don't usually ship to Romania automated system could not handle it so i waited for someone to come back with an email with the proforma for 2 days, anyway on the 12th it was friday afternoon so the payment was made on monday morning. Even tho it was made in SEPA (instant payment) i had to repeatedly reach out to their customer service to confirm that they received the payment and that the order is okay. On the 17th i reached out the final time where they informed me that they received the payment and are about to ship, without ever letting me know that everything is fine, and the first customer rep Gabrielle Cassan expedited me in a very rude and hastily manner, and when i wrote my dissatisfaction of the entire experience, another customer rep Cristiano Finelli accused me to cause "drama" and "having anger". They do not comprehend that being somehow neglected and not giving a damn about a customer produces justified frustration. This is my first experience with the company, shame really as they have interesting products on their site but due to very very low standards customer care reps no further business will be done with them. If anyone deems to dispute what i have wrote here and my experience i have the transcripts so feel free to challenge the facts.

We want to clarify that we have consistently responded to all of your inquiries, whether through chat or email. We understand the importance of keeping our customers informed and supported throughout the process. Please note that the only instance in which you did not receive a response was on the evening of 16/04, as you reached out late at 10:12 PM. Our virtual assistant intervened but cannot provide information about payments.
Regarding the payment method, we want to highlight that we promptly processed your order on the morning of the following day after receiving the payment, which was on 17/04. We usually do not notify customers upon receiving bank transfers. However, it's worth noting that for orders to destinations like Romania, which are not common for us, manual processing is required, and it's normal not to receive an automatic email response or confirmation. This manual handling by our team might have contributed to the delay in communication, but the goods are already on their way to you.
Regarding customer satisfaction, it's important to note that we engage with both individual and professional clients daily. The overwhelmingly positive feedback, with 98% of reviews reflecting this, speaks for itself. Although our goal is to achieve 100% satisfaction, we acknowledge that there will inevitably be individuals who express dissatisfaction. We, as a team, not just the customer care representatives, feel frustrated by reviews like this when the order has been processed properly. It's crucial to remember that behind every order fulfillment lies an entire team (not just computers) dedicated to accommodating the needs of our customers. A little more patience and less hostility wouldn't hurt. In fact, we don't understand the reason for your anger since everything proceeded regularly: you placed the order and paid for it, we received the payment, and the next day we shipped the goods.
If your frustration and perception of us as conflictual stem from not receiving an automatic confirmation email and to respond in a very direct way to your complaints, we understand your concerns. However, it's very challenging for us to fully satisfy you under these circumstances.
