Extremely high prices. Tech was knowledgeable but I’m in the real estate industry and their pricing is crazy high! I highly recommend calling around for better pricing!

Middlesex NJ -horrible “service”
Middlesex NJ - Would give negative stars if I could. This company is a joke. Judging by the other reviews I’m not the only one who feels this way. If you need to have an appliance repaired my suggestion is to keep looking - this is not a reputable company and they will NOT provide adequate service. Considering what they charged me to do nothing, I am better off buying a new appliance and having it installed. They told me the fix would be one thing, and after $135 trip charge and $150 repair, still didn’t work. Then said we would need a different $750 part for our dishwasher. Uh, no sir, you have no idea what you’re doing. No refund for the original part or repair (the very common door closure problem - that guess what.. is a scam), oh, and he wanted to keep our part he “replaced”. At the same time had them look at my washing machine (you guessed it, another $130 fee even though he was already here). $2000k to fix the washer (he clearly had no interest in doing it). They are a complete sham - don’t bother calling - you’ll regret it. And if you try to get any resolution they won’t call you back at all.
Mr. Appliance is GREAT!!!
Dear Mr. Appliance - sorry for not including Mike and Melanie in the previous five-star review -- in addition to Joaquin (and of course Katie!!!), Mr. Appliance is truly a five-star company --- give them a try! The Jensen's
Mr. Appliance of Macon - Beware
Mr. Appliance of Macon is nothing but a fraudulent company out to rip people off. Neighborly company??!!
What a joke!
Actually I was one of the lucky ones they only got $200.00 out of me. And from the many reviews I have read others were ripped off for much more.
The repairman, and I use the term loosely, came to our home, did a quick check and told me I needed a new fan motor on my Samsung oven. He told me it would cost $461.89 and he would have to order it. He asked for $200.00 which I paid. My balance was $261.89.
The serviceman returned two days later. He worked for over and hour and then told me he tried to make the new motor fit but he couldn't. He said he had the wrong part and would have to order the right one. I already had the assumption that this guy was clueless.
Then he surprised me by telling me the new part was $20.00 cheaper. However, he then showed me a new bill for $725.00. He wanted me to sign it and I told him no way. Then he tried to shake my hand and I hustled him out of my house.
I later spoke with an appliance man from Byron and he told me that was a ridiculous price. He told me to chalk it up as a lesson learned and said to order the part from Samsung and watch how to do it on YouTube.
I ordered the part for $145.00. Received that part and saved myself a huge amount of money!!!!
PS Never heard from that "serviceman" again!!
Beware of the crooks that work at Mr. Appliance!
paid $275 for air in tire
Well I just paid $275 for someone to put air in my flat tire.
Dryer is dead they came in pressed the reset button, now dryer is dead again, i pressed the reset button, nothing fixed and just a waist of my time i should have bought a new dryer a disaster to the appliance repair industry I will never do a repair again.
12 months and 18 days ago Mr
12 months and 18 days ago Mr. Appliance replaced a pump on our LG washer. I called today to learn that the warranty is expired and the branch that installed it no longer services our area. The original pump from LG lasted 10 years. They replaced with an Amazon 22.00 aftermarket part and charged us 373.00 dollars. Garbage. I now know why 78% of your "victims" gave you 1 star. If there were a 0, I would have given that. Thanks fellow American.
Stay away from these losers!
The technician came in and told me right away they probably could not get the parts required to repair my oven. I suggested we stop right there, but he insisted he should go ahead and take the oven apart. I suggested he check to see if he could get the parts. He did so. After several minutes of searching online, he concluded maybe could get parts, but wasn't sure. So i said we should stop here. He said it may just be a loose wire so let me take it apart and see. 20 minutes later he handed me an invoice for $135 to diagnose the problem and told me he could not get the parts required to fix it. Then he left.
Thanks!
HORRIBLE SERVICE
Me. appliance Ramona was horrible. Technician were nice and polite but the first one took 6 trips to finally figure out the problem after pulling the freezer apart the first few times out. Took another tech to assist and diagnose. They broke a pet on the freezer basket and some random pet was left out. No calls back from owner or tech after the job was complete. Would never recommend
Don't hire liars
Mr. Appliance came out and diagnosed our microwave and said that if we elected to move on with the repairs that they would credit the diagnostic fee. They did not do that. They lied, so if you hire them do so at your own risk.
Company must be closed owners are…
Company must be closed owners are dishonest people plase must be shut down for forgery
Stay away from all of them!!!
Stay away from all of them, bosch said they were certified to work on our fridge. They came estimated and charged us in full $785.66, came the next Wednesday, did not fix the fridge, could barely figure out how to get to anything, put it back together incorrect, did not fix the fridge, said something about a torch and causing an explosion left saying someone would call to reschedule. I have called multiple times, no one answers the phone, no one calls your back, they use a call service on top of that and they wont give your corporates number. We do not have a working fridge, we are out $785.66. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General, disputed the charge on our card. If these do not work, I am hiring an attorney, blatant thievery.
BEWARE!
We had them come out to look at our refrigerator. Easy fix, no parts, $150 for the service—which we had no problem with.
We need to replace a knob on our cook top, so asked them how much the part is. Service tech took a photo of there serial number and looked it up. He wants $850 for the knob and the connecting part! No repairs done, other than looking up the part.
Charges us $150 in addition to the other $150 just for looking up the part!!!
Their policy says that any additional appliances would be $75 to work on while they are there. First of all, no repairs were done, but even if they feel justified in tagging that on to looking up the part, it would be the $75. We asked why the extra $150. Their response was, "Because it's a Viking its a premium appliance so we charge more"!
They just lost all our business and WILL NOT recommend them to anyone! BEWARE!
This was with Mr. Appliance Provo.
Jonathan was prompt,curteous
Jonathan was prompt, curteous, professional, and friendly. He was able to take the doorand bottom of our LG gas range, and determine that nothing was left of the plastic lid that had slipped through the slit in the bottom of the oven. Within 45 min start to finish the problem was fixed. Thanks so much Jonathan for your expert service call!
Appliance Gift for 20 minutes
Made my appointment 2 days before "appointment". Was told it would be Friday between 8-5. Confirmed they could work on the refrigerator freezer ice maker and also on the ice machine. Even provided the manufacture names. NO call from the company to set even a 4 hour window. So finally at 3:00 I called their office. By the way, all the conversations with the office were with Brenda. Brenda told me at 3:00 he was on a call and I was next. So at 4:30 no seviceman and no calls so I called their office again because they advertise their hours 8 - 5. The office was closed already at 4:30 and I could leave a message for Monday. the service man finally called at 10 after 5 and said he could be here in 10 minutes if I hadn't given up. He arrived at around 5:30. I showed him the refrigerator and then the ice machine in the patio. He proceeded to tell me he doesn't work on commercial ice machines. Further, he did inspect the refrigerator ice maker and found a valve outside the machine would need to be ordered and replaced which the part costing over $120 would arrive Tuesday. My assistance to move the refrigerator forward was requested. I have a shoulder injury but still assisted to get the job done. The entire cost for a service call which only involved the refrigerator ice machine IF I had accepted the estimate was in excess of $425 plus tax. I declined and was still charged $120 for "time" that took less than 20 minutes. So whether the company refunds "the gift", there was NOTHING accomplished. There is VERY POOR communication in the Mr. Appliance office and apparantly all about getting the $$$. There was no call to set up the 4 hour window of time and there was no communication between the office and the serviceman since the serviceman was no aware of the ice machine even though I spelled it to Brenda. I would NOT recommend anyone "gifting" that much with no regard for their customers and such poor communication with their service technicians.
Totally, totally honest people
The repairman was on time, and the ordered parts came in pronto. The dishwasher now works like a champ.
Technicians did Not Show Up 3 Times
We scheduled three appointments where the technicians did not show up. After calling when the technicians did not show up, each call representative stated that a manager would call us. We have made multiple calls to the company, have left messages, and have begged someone to call us. Unfortunately, our dishwasher is still broke, and we have yet to hear back from anyone.
Very disappointed
Brandon came out this past Wednesday install a gas line. He never bothered to measure the size line he needed. All he said I guess I shouldn't have eye balled the measurement. The part was too short. He had no solution for us. My husband told him to leave the part, and he would figure something out. Your company had the nerve to charge full price. We are still waiting on the manager to call us back. Worst service and customer service.
New owner and great service
New owner and great service. Talk about people that knows what they are doing and would recommend them to anyone.
WORST company EVER
WORST company EVER. Do not waste your time with this company. They do not schedule calls as they say, they do not show up and the customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced in my life.
Technian told us the board of our…
Technian told us the board of our refrigerator was damaged and we needed to get a new refrigerator immediately. Didn't add it to the receipt diagnostics. The receipt said everything was working as intended when it wasn't. It is a scam to get people to get them to come back out for an additional diagnostic service for twice the cost of the first.
Hire "Mr. Appliance" at Your Own Risk
1. Dishwasher is not working.
2. They came and diagnosed the problem (door latch doesn't work, so sensor doesn't get triggered), but cannot fix it.
3. They charged me $137.8 for "coming and finding the problem".
So...next time when you have a problem with your appliances, think twice before you hire this company, as you could be just like me, paying them only for finding the problem, not for fixing it.
Buyer Be Aware.
P.S.: One more thing before you decide to hire them - check them out at BBB site (search for Mr. Appliance BBB review) and get ready to be amazed by how many negative reviews they got - spoiler alert: their average review is one-star.)
