Tesla powerwall and Samsung heat pump

I used MSC heating for the installation of my air source heat pump and Tesla powerwall after finding them on the approved Tesla installers list and I was not disappointed.
I found them to be competitively priced and very good at communicating with me from start to finish. Other companies I spoke to didn’t follow basic requirements ie. gaining permission for the installation from western power for the connection, MSC did and dealt with all of this for me, persevered to make sure this requirement was passed and provided proof of this. They undertook the job during the Covid-19 pandemic and wore masks, goggles and gloves throughout the work which I appreciated and sanitised everything down after each day. Once the job was completed they spent time with me to go through the workings of the system and the Tesla app to make sure I fully understood everything.
Very professional and friendly guys to deal with. Phil kept me fully updated throughout the process and I can’t recommend them enough.
Top job guys!

Great service from start to finish

Great service from start to finish. The price quoted for my Kensa ground source heat pump was very competitive. They turned up on time and installed the system within the agreed timescales. The price I paid was the price I was given at the start of the job. Couldn’t be happier with the end result. Would recommend to others without doubt!

Oh Dear!

Unfortunately MSC Heating do not see reviews as helping them to improve their service. Each of the statements below are factually correct and not 'false' as claimed by the contractor. Email and Whats app messages are available to demonstrate this. Some examples

Day 1, MSC Heating did not turn up, ourelectrician stated "didnt you know, they are not coming till tomorrow, the sent a text (to him) last night.

October 9 2020 - shower problem fixed - advised by Whatsapp (no reply)
18 October 2020 M When will you be over to undertake the service (no reply)
23 October 2020 - M could you please respond to my previous 2 messages? Reply - OK I will let you know
4 November 2020 still no date given, new engineer identified.

In the spirit of fairness, the new engineer stated that it was a good installation, he was impressed with the work.

And so, the original review is as below. I see no need to give further examples but have them.

First, when choosing an air source system and getting initial advice, the service was excellent and included a weekend visit to look at the site. Unfortunately, thats where the excellence ended.
Issues to deal with:
*Failure to respond to annual service request - requiring me to find a new engineer
* Not attending on dates agreed
*Not replying to emails/messages
*Poor advice with regards to the Renewable Heat Incentive, leading to a loss of £4k
*Hidden costs not mentioned (floor coverings)
*Some poor quality flooring not related to the age of the building (18 century house with some uneven wooden floors but also some flat concrete floors)

Hi KLM,

I am very disappointed to say the least in receiving this review as much of the information is false. and I will answer each of your points beneath;

* Your request for a service was received and replied to. You advised me that before the service could take place, you needed to carry out repair plumbing work on your shower (which we did not fit). I advised you how to go about the repair (even though it was nothing to do with me) and asked you to call me when this was done so that I could book a date for the service. I never received a call from you.
* When installing the heat pump, dates were agreed and we turned up every day promptly. There were no other dates agreed and so this statement is false.
* I have a long thread of emails and WhatsApp messages to which all were replied to and in most cases replied to above and beyond the expectation of any installer.
* From the start of our working relationship, myself and my colleague prompted you numerous times to get the EPC done on the property ASAP, as if delayed, it will have an impact on your RHI. It seemed that your up and coming trip to France took precedence over this and you did not act upon our advice. YOU WERE ADVISED!
* There were no hidden costs. I presume you are referring to the installation of the underfloor heating. You were carrying out extensive works to your property and the concrete floor had no coverings when we began the installation. We quoted to fit the underfloor heating system. I would have thought common sense would have told you that we don't fit floorings and/or carpets and this would not have been included.
* As stated above, the concrete floor was bare when we started installation. This statement does not make any sense.

Our installation and workmanship on this job was professional throughout. You fail to mention in your review that you ignored my requests for payment for the installation for over three months resulting in loss of earnings for myself and my team.

We thank you for your business but would kindly ask that before you leave a review for any company in the future (especially independent companies) that you review truthfully and fairly.

Complete heating system…

I had a complete heating system installed Aug 20
Ben and George did a great job in 3 days they removed my old heating system and installed and commissioned the new system and cleaned up as they worked.
I would definitely recommend these to anybody

Prompt and professional

I received a very prompt response from the team, they kept me well informed on when they could arrive and conduct the work and how long it would take. Installation went without a hitch and they took the old boiler cleaning up after themselves.
I would highly recommend MSC for their competitive prices and professionalism.

I contacted Worcester Bosch and MSC…

I contacted Worcester Bosch and MSC Heating was listed within their recommended installers. Martin responded with a competitive quote immediately. Martin was prompt in answering my queries and installed the boiler on the day as promised. Craig and Martin did a great job.

New boiler install

I needed a boiler fitting after it broke down over the Christmas holidays. I sent out for quotes and Martin quickly came back to me. We discussed my requirements and I was provided with a couple of alternative options.
Martin and Craig did an excellent job of installing the boiler and resolved some other issues along the way. A great team willing to go the extra mile to deliver first class customer service!

These gentlemen came all the way

These gentlemen came all the way, early from Birmingham to London to replace my boiler before I go away on the weekend. I chose them based on price though rightfully they informed me that there was a safety issue with the flue location. This was rectified during the install which showed integrity. Will ask them for a quote on my new rental property as well.

Great price, could not have been easier.

I am a landlord with a rental property in Gloucester, I used MSC Heating to fit a new boiler for me.
They gave me the best fitted price on a top spec boiler and were more than happy to arrange the fitting directly with the tenant - they could not have been more helpful, the price they originally quoted was the price paid and the job was done to a great standard with new filter, system flush and safety certificate included.
I've kept their details and will be using them again for sure.
