Easy to deal with. Straight forward process.

Good customer service. Got the recycling pack a few days after ordering. On the Saturday. Posted to Samsung Recycle on Monday. It arrived Wednesday. And they gave the full amount offered. Hopefully they will recycle the cables / plugs and other things too. As well as the tablet of course.

I used Samsung Recycle or MTR for an old Samsung tablet which wasn't accepted as part of cashback offer when previously purchasing a Samsung Tablet.

The address sticker and bag didn't arrive so I had to request again. Having received the (possibly the first) bag I sent the item and received the money very quickly.

Given the issues with postage in the UK, I do wonder whether people should be given the option to print their own label because potentially the tradein value could have reduced through no fault of my own

Seriously, you can't change my mind on this. I have used Samsung recyling for the last few years and never disappointed. I posted an item via special delivery literally yesterday afternoon and today I got an email saying they are processing it and than within few minutes they told me they processed it and send exact agreed transfer value to my account. Literally it took within 24 hours. How can you beat that? I have tried so many others previously and either they don't give you the value they promised initially or take a while to process your product, or in worst cases they end up sending the item back in terrible packaging and or damaged. Samsung recycle all the way. Send them any brands as long as it's a tablet/phone/laptop in a condition that you originally described it and pack it carefully, very important, and make sure to do special delivery. They send you two labels with their recycling pack, one is free posting and other one is special. Thank you Samsung as always you guys are phenomenal!

Really easy to use service, when devices arrived at Samsung they were checked and payment in the bank by the end of the day.

Price was the best when checked against other recylcle / reseller sites.

What is this SCAM how is Samsung name on tis for whole house is full of Samsung goods and this is how the abuse customers, shocking

Initially I was very wary of any recycle scheme having had a bad experience many years ago with a Samsung screen warranty and false claims made by their technical assessors.
Nevertheless, I got a valuation to return a phone and tablet. Both were in excellent condition and full working order and I made sure that I took video of the items, switching on etc, after resetting them and just before packaging them.
The returns system was efficient and the return labels came quickly.
However, then my problems started!
The phone was assessed OK, but the tablet was assessed as having a faulty screen and they were offering only £10 rather than the originally quoted £40. This was in spite of me forwarding them my videos proving that were in full working order at the point of posting.
Initially they refused to accept responsibility. It has taken a month but they have moved to honour the full £40 offer.
Whilst I have incurred a small fee for some legal advice I was pursuing with Which? Legal Services, I am happy with the outcome. It is the principle that matters here.

Samsung recycle is a good service with prompt payment. While I have in the past used other trade-in services, Samsung offered the best value for my Galaxy Tab so decided to take a punt.

They sent out a letter containing 2 return labels, one pre-paid for 48hr Royal Mail insured up to £150 and a second Special Delivery up to £500 insurance, it's worth noting in my case I would have had to pay around £7.50 had I have chosen the second option.

However since I was returning an A8 that wasn't even £150 new, the free option was more than sufficient.

You are given 14 days for your item to arrive for the advertised price, after which you may get a lower price.

On receipt of the package I was informed via email that they had received the item and that they would check it and transfer money same day, a couple of hours later I received an email letting me know everything was good and money transfer would happen before the end of the day (note: the email did state it would be the following working day if confirmation happened after standard business hours).

In my case it was early afternoon and the money was received into my account within half an hour of the email.

All in all a good, no fuss, easy recycling program. Will be more than happy to use them again in future.

Fast way to sell your old phone. Same day they received my phone it was checked and the payment processed. Everything through the whole procedure went easy.

Super quick and easy to use. Very self explanatory and quick payment. The only difference with some other companies is they don't provide a box to post in, but this didn't detract from the service
