+ No (or very little) technical knowledge required!
I play a modded server with a couple of friends and colleagues. And a few weeks before the plan was to just use a spare server we had laying around.
But after over a week of configuring and trying many many tunneling engines, VPNs, and more, I gave up on trying to circumvent our firewall. (Simplest way was port forwarding, but I'm not allowed to access that by decree of the property owner.)
So a friend recommended these folk, and boy was that a lot easier!
Select server, pay, select modpack, start!
From hearing about them to being ingame with friends in less than 15 minutes! No fiddling with numbers or configs, just buttons, and copying the IP!
Strongly recommend!

constant problems
constant problems, response times are terrible compared to other server providers. do not recommend.I never said there was a global issue.
as for your response times u answered me twice reasonably quickly the other 10 times i waited hrs sometimes next day over 10 hrs that's no good in my opinion. hence why u get 2* my new server provider replies within minutes not hrs

Actually there isn't any global issue like you seem to think, you're facing a data corruption that may be due to some game update and we did our best to assist you.
Contrary to what you're stating here, we quickly replied to all of your messages so we do not really agree.
Anyway, we'll try our best to lower support answer delay to be as effective as we can but we can say for some customers it will never be reactive enough :-)
When you're looking for a game server…
When you're looking for a game server there's generally a really simple high level requirement: a stable/high availability service. My experience so far has been fantastic, the only down time has been due to a game change/patch that affected all hosters. Mtxserv were fast to respond even though technically it was the game developers responsibility.
There are also other requirements which you probably dont consider if you're new to renting servers. An intuitive interface with your server is one of those requirements that i just didnt consider. Mtxserv has an absolutely amazing web ui. Everything has just been so simple to do when it comes to restarts/updates/game problem resolution.
Secondly is a quality customer service. The single query i raised was answered quickly and comprehensively. The previously mentioned game update issue was escalated by mtxserv quickly.

The system you're talking about is made to avoid inactive servers to consumes resources on our machines, letting as much resources available as possible for other servers hosted on the same machine.
It's just made to improve the quality of service as much as possible, that's why it does only trigger after 3 full days without any player connection at all, we think it is quite a long time.

Rented a Valheim server
Rented a Valheim server, then an issue occurred that required an update from the game developer, they found out the issue before the game developer and fixed it!. They have great fast support and great products.

Actually the game is suffering from some network misconception that could affect game conditions since 4-5 players and mostly if one of the player has connection issues.
We’ve made some articles to explain how to make some optimizations in order to solve this kind of issue and we plan to implement solutions to make it easier within the next days.

Server side amazing game side needs a lot of tweaking
Servers are really easy to set up and very competitive pricing , but after using a valhiem server for longer than a couple days with 2 or more people in a built up town ( 3 buildings plus) npc/mobs start to glitch through walls from lag players get lag doors take 3 plus attempts to open and sometimes it’s easier to break a wall than wait for the door to open. Over all server side amazing service game side a lot needs to be done as the server only has 2gb ram allocation

About the memory, there isn’t any allocation or limitation, the official server application uses as much memory as it needs/asks but it doesn’t seem to go above 2 GB of RAM. Please understand that there’s nothing to do with us here, it’s purely a matter of software design by devs here.
Valheim Sever
Using a server for Valheim. Quick and easy set up. Some small issues due to the games early release which I’m sure will be resolved in the near future. All in all a good service for the price!

Amazing the console was so easy to use and adding plugins and mods were so easy and it is such a good deal you ca get a server for 3 months for 20 bucks
