Exemplar Customer Service and Unique…

Exemplar Customer Service and Unique Quality! I have been an ongoing customer of Mungo and Maud since they first set out… I cannot fault the team of exceptional customer service, every time! They are quick in their response and always offer high quality goods. Any issues or concerns are dealt with quickly and efficiently. I don’t think there is any other pet wears company out there that offer the variety and uniqueness of products. I am always complimented and asked where I got Bentley collars, leads, jumpers from. Love these guys! Now don’t go selling the company is any large overseas conglomerate like Cox and Cox did..although they are furnishing, but they too were once unique and individual until they sold the company and it went downhill from there. Stay true to yourselves Mungo and Maud, we love you!!!! :)

Feedback on delivery for online orders

So, I saw a name tag for my dog's collar that I liked and went to order through the website. It was £20 and no bigger than a 10 pence piece - and yet they wanted £6 for delivery. So, decided to visit the shop in person. They said it was 'online only' and its a flat £6 delivery regardless of whether you are ordering a name tag or a dog bed. Seems mad to me. They could have simply popped it in the post for a fraction of the cost. Instead it turned up in a big DPD van. I get it that this makes sense for bulky items, but for something this small? TBH, I struggle with businesses who don't demonstrate common sense, particularly when it comes to the environment. That aside, the product itself is fine - if somewhat overpriced.

Poor Quality and Poorer service!

Couldn’t agree more with other reviews. The product may look good and certainly is expensive, but quality it is not. I purchased two dog beds and one began separating at the seams within a year of weekend use. I reached out to their customer service and after a week of back and forth (!) they offered 10% off my next purchase. This type of service is so confusing — had they just replaced the bed (which would’ve cost them 50$ at most), a customer would’ve been saved and I wouldn’t be writing this!

Overpriced and poor quality

Ordered a bed for my puppy and in less than a year a zip has broken in 2 placed. First co texted them about it on the 19th April, where a staff member in store told me that it should not be the case and to speak with customer services. I did speak with customer service and not only did it take weeks to get a reply, but then replied to say it’s outside of their return window (30 days) and that they wouldn’t do anything about it except give me 20% off to spend in their store. The bed cost over £200, I expect it to last a lifetime not less than a year. They have since stopped replying to my emails and refuse to discuss the situation further leaving me with a dog bed which is faulty when my dog is still only 10 months old.

They sent the WRONG size TWICE!!

They sent the WRONG size TWICE!!

Mungo and Maud are a bit of a joke, because they can't manage their business very well! Numbers aren't their thing!

What is the point of measuring your dogs neck and specifying 28 - 34 cm on the website when buying, only to be sent a collar that is 10cm too small!

What is even more cringeworthy, is that despite emails, phone calls, and complaints, clearly stating the need for a bigger size, they apologised and sent the same, too small, collar, AGAIN!!!

What does it take to get through to them? Save yourself the misery of dealing with these numbskulls and buy your dog's collar somewhere else!
