We all had a great time at a recent hen do murder mystery dinner at Best Western Chilworth Manor. The actors were funny and kept the story moving. Communication beforehand with Steve was excellent.

We booked Murder Mystery meals for my sisters hen party and it was absolutely amazing!! The mix of characters was great and everyone really went to town on their costumes/getting into character. Our two actors, Freya and Chris were wonderful and funny and kept the story moving in good time. I would 100% recommend booking!

We have just got back from my sister’s hen weekend and wow what a great night we had! Everyone got into character and it went so smoothly would highly recommend it, the company was amazing any questions I had they replied immediately and even the very last min change on the day wasn’t a problem at all. It was the first murder mystery we had ever done and would 100% rebook again we all had such a laugh from the minute it started.

We were a stag group of 12- We had a fantastic time! Very well organised and actors provided were good fun/ ran the session really well. Absolutely hilarious.

They really brought the story to life and had everyone laughing and getting involved, even those who were a bit shy at the start. It created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere and made the evening one of the true highlights of the whole weekend.

Steve was a dream to work with in coordinating everything. He was flexible and accommodating, even adjusting the timings on the night to fit around our catering schedule, which made everything run so smoothly.

Couldn’t recommend them enough! The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish. Everyone had so much fun, laughed non-stop and fully got into their characters. They worked perfectly with our private chef so the timing of each act flowed effortlessly between courses. It was so well organised, interactive and hilarious — every single person said how much they loved it and we all enjoyed every second!

We had fantastic and very fun evening. We did the Solomon Ring theme with 19 guests. The actors were very professional, accommodating to our needs, and brought great energy to the evening. The whole process with Steve was very clear and simple. I highly recommend.

This was such a good night.
The letters, characters and lead up was great as Steve was quick to reply, answered all my questions and was really helpful.
On the night the actors were so patient and joined in with our tempo so well.
Not having to think about anything on the night was amazing!

The Murder Mystery was booked for my sisters hen, it was silly and funny and the actors where good and arrived on time so it all went smoothly. Everyone enjoyed it.

I used to be an actor that worked for this company along with my partner, we had fantastic reviews and worked all over the midlands for a couple of years - unfortunately, my partner was ill one evening (she ended up in hospital) and rather than let the Hen party down I went along and did the evening by myself - which was stressful but enjoyable.

Steve then refused to pay my full invoice saying we'd let him down and gave me half! Really? The actors only get basic travel money and £80.

If you want a decent company which pays actors fairly look elsewhere...

Regarding the reply sent by MMMC. Nice try Steve. Please don't insult my intelligence (or your audience's) by trying to apportion blame onto another company! Yes it was your company! Yes you didn't pay me my fee!

If you like I can reveal who the murderer is on your 'Jealous Bride' plot to your audience? - Do you really think I would give out my real name for you to then discredit me?

Also it's very interesting that you've nothing to say about the lousy wage you're clearly still paying your actors...

We had so much fun on my sisters hen do embarking on ‘The Jealous Bride’. Steve was easy to communicate with and so responsive. The actors arrived on time with everything they needed to make the evening run without a hitch! They worked seamlessly with the private chef we had arranged. Excellent fun and a lot of laughs, would highly recommend.

We hired Murder Mystery meals for my wife's 40th birthday party. The organisation and support is excellent and personalized, they recommend a hotel near Oxford (The Belfry) that met our requirements. The hotel was modern and comfortable and the we were given a spacious function room for dinner and the Mystery. The meal we picked was of a high quality, the Beef Shin went down very well.
A big thank you to Steve at Murder Mystery for all the support and responsiveness on email, catering to all our needs. The actors that joined us on the night were of a high calibre, witty and on point, they were enjoyed by all.
I would highly recommend this company, it's great value for money and everyone that came left with brilliant memories.
