The chicken was unfortunately putrid when opened even though in date. I have sent a customer complaints and have heard nothing in return
Half of order missing. Chicken had putrid smell. Absolutely no contact back after many messages sent. Will never use again, have used them a while so very upset wirh their appalling behaviour
If I could give zero stars, I would.
I placed and paid for an order (#562284) back on July 21st, and as of today, I still have no food, no tracking, and complete silence from customer support.
The delivery timeline on this single order has been a complete nightmare:
Multiple failed delivery attempts and total disregard for customer schedule preferences.
After back-and-forth emails, Muscle Food explicitly agreed to deliver my order on August 3rd.
I arranged my work schedule to work from home specifically to receive it. It never arrived.
No update email, no delay notification, no tracking details, and zero communication. To make matters worse, Muscle Food offers no phone line, forcing customers to send emails into a void and wait days for responses that never come.
Unfortunately, this isn't a isolated issue. A previous order arrived with items completely opened and destroyed inside the box. I gave them the benefit of the doubt then, but this level of incompetence and total disregard for paying customers is appalling.
Failing to deliver agreed goods with zero communication is a clear breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you value your time, money, and sanity, buy your prep/food elsewhere. Avoid.
On 24 Jul I was informed order 558417 would not be delivered on time. You contacted me 24 Jul 1553 asking for me to choose a delivery date that suited me. I replied at 1559 and never received a reply. 27 Jul 1334 you told me I would have delivery 30 Jul and at 1347 I asked if the delayed product would be fresh. Again, I never received a reply and you had arbitrarily chosen the date and time of delivery. The customer service has been very poor throughout this ordering process.
Started off very happy. Decided to begin a regular subscription. After that I noticed the dates on the meat started to get closer and closer to expiry every time they were delivered. Then they started just blatantly missing items out of the order and charging me for them anyway. The latest order was short 5KG of chicken!
They charge you for your subscription then deliver your food a week later with about 3 days until it’s all out of date.
The chicken is full of cartilage, bones, tendons and fat and they pump it so full of water you’re probably actually only getting about as much as you would in a supermarket anyway.
Customer service is none existent, I’d do yourself a favour and avoid these lot at all costs
Arrived almost a week late. Not very good quality. We'll not purchase again sorry.
Order was late (still haven’t received it)
Emailed support via the website to explain that I was a bit concerned about the food taking so long to come to me and if it would still be safe to use.
I’ve had no acknowledgment or reply. I still don’t have the order but the money was taken from my account.
I have sent in a complaint to customer service support and they have not replied
My order was shipped short and I am missing
2x sirloin and 1x2.5kg chicken still waiting for the reply
They haven’t replied to any of my emails. My hamper arrived missing all of the chicken products.
If a representative from Muscle Foods is reading this, could you please get in touch with me so we can rectify my missing items
My order was late and it wasn't frozen , I didn't eat some of it . So I was very disappointed , this has not happened before . Thank you .
Muscle meat is such a good product the quality is never any different amd FOT a family you give good portions at a better price quality and delivery than anyone else as most supermarket bulk supplies are still not a match and healthy version
This is the 2nd order in a row that wasn’t dispatched or delivered on time. It ended up arriving a week late, no offer of a discount or anything as means of an apology. Poor service and starting to see a pattern.
Food came over a week late plus Four days in shipping transit. only to be delivered smelly rotten meat. Muscle food are hard to contact and they don’t reply more then they do reply. Send you you loads of spam mail.
Fantastic service, great quality goods, the chicken breast fillets are perfect sized and tasting, little to no wastage at trimming, the burgers too are fabulous that we ordered, all in all superb value and top quality products, fast delivery that was well packaged.
Meat is OK but deliveries are a nightmare. I booked my slot a couple of days later I was asked to change my date as Muscle Foods had an issue. No problem so I changed my date picking a date which was convenient to me. This was accepted. A couple of days later I was notified that my date had been changed again to a date when I was out. I wrote cancelling my order. Received an automatic reply but nothing else. Then the delivery was made on the day when we were out. I sent my daughter to meet the delivery which was a real hassle. Then I received a note saying they were sorry for the problems but they noted delivery had been made. Never responded to the cancelled order email. I have used Muscle Food a few times before but with such hassle I don't propose using them again.
The food wasn't delivered when they said it would & then when it was re-arranged it still came on the wrong day.
Half off the chicken was off & has had to be thrown out.
Now I can't get in touch with anyone for a refund on the food I had to throw out. Email got bounced back.
order didnt arrive on time.. items missing.. poor communication..
Terrible services
Ordered on 21st July didn’t receive.
Went online to see my order had been cancelled even though I had been charged. Clicked the order that then somehow reordered it without me requesting.
Have emailed 4 times as we are now on holiday telling them not to deliver and to issue a refund.
Instead 15kg of chicken has been dumped on my driveway to rot for two weeks.
Still no response to my emails even though an automated email was sent back saying it’s been received.
Will be taking action against this disgusting service
