I decided to use the Musicbed free trial during the edit of my indie feature film so I could test some tracks out. I'm currently starting a business and have pretty low cashflow so I intended to cancel after the free trial until I could afford the full service. I completely forgot to cancel and then panicked when $160 AUD was taken from my account. At that point I was minus $160. I decided to reach out to the Musicbed support team and explain my situation. They were really responsive and helpful and were kind enough to reimburse the amount, due to my situation. I had already intended on using their service properly once my circumstance changed and now that everything is resolved so efficiently I highly recommend using this service! I'm really happy with my experience!

Be very careful before signing up. Musicbed advertises monthly pricing, but in my experience it functions as a 12-month contract paid monthly, not a normal cancel-anytime subscription. That distinction was not presented clearly enough for a commitment of this size.
I realized the issue almost immediately, contacted them within days, and explained that I needed to stop using the service because of a sudden family medical situation. I did not ask for a refund of the first payment. I asked for a reasonable hardship cancellation. They refused.
What made it worse was how they framed my use. They pointed to download/license totals even though most of that was just auditioning music internally while editing. I had no ongoing public use, deleted the videos I made, and removed the downloaded files.
The music may be excellent, but the billing model and customer service left a very bad impression. I would strongly encourage creators to read every word before checking out, because this did not feel transparent or customer-friendly at all.
