Quality products, frendly staff & good service

I bought a 12 string guitar from these guys in 2016. The whole experience was a pleasant one. More that anything, there was no sense of rushing me. I must have been there a good few hours, trying various guitars, electric and acoustic, even a lap steel which really caught my eye, until I decided on a really nice Tanglewood.
Pete made me feel very welcome. as if I'd known him for years.
I would heartily recommend this shop to either novices or fully-fledged musicians due to their depth of musical knowledge and great customer service. The prices aren't too bad either (but the website could do with a bit of work).

This is my favorite Christmas music book and I needed a replacement. This is almost identical and as close as I could find. This one is for piano and my old one was for C and G chord organs. The new one is spiral bound and my old one wasn't so the pages were falling out. It arrived promptly and in very good shape as advertised. It was NOT inexpensive so that's why I gave it four stars, strictly because of the price.

The item (a used violin) arrived very promptly and was very carefully packaged. It's condition was exactly as described.

I have only recently discovered music direct & I have to admit that I have never dealt with nicer, more helpful & knowledgable people. I have purchased three guitars and I am more than happy with the quality & service. Great shop, keep going guys (& gals)

As I am somewhat disabled and can't easily manage the stairs to the shop, Peter came down to me and we negotiated a purchase, including trade-ins, at car park level.

Wow! Excellent service!

The advice Peter gave helped me to make an informed choice. He then carried an amplifier down to my car, and even offered to visit me at home if I needed help.

Ive used music direct for years now, way back in the 90`s i think i found them in Oldham.
Whether purchasing a new instrument or trading older for new ive always had in my opinion a great deal from Peter. Hes always gone out of his way to find the things ive wanted at the best price.

Absolutely first class service, information and advice, we had a repair done on a guitar and purchased a ukulele, so friendly and professional start to finished, recommend anybody to visit the shop.
