My boys, aged 14 and 12 passed their Grade 5 Theory ABRSM within two weeks thanks to Tracy and Carol.
They previously had very little knowledge of theory and literally felt they knew nothing before starting the course! Carol went through the course in an easy to understand method.

Helped speed my daughter through grade 5 music theory by breaking down the work into manageable chunks and making the lessons enjoyable. Great individual attention to the learner’s particular needs and clear structures for progression through the workload. My daughter was delighted to get a distinction and is now enjoying lessons on Grade 6 Theory with Music Lessons Anywhere. Highly recommended.

My child took a fast track music theory course at Music Lessons Anywhere and passed the 5-grade exam with distinction. I think that's the best recommendation I can give :-) I would add that the teacher was very competent and friendly, and the organization of the course was also excellent - we felt well informed and looked after at every stage. My two boys - 10 year old and 12 year old and my niece - 14 years old just finished the ABRSM Theory Grade 5 exam - we are very happy with the results.
My kids started preparing for the Grade 5 Theory exam a few months back with their regular piano teacher but we realized extra support and teaching was required to get this exam done. Some of the teachers we reached out to here in the US were giving us 1 year timeframe to study and prepare for the exam.
My sister found Tracy while searching for teachers and we feel so fortunate to have found Tracy.
Tracy is highly responsive, managed to work through 3 different time zone, she did an initial test with our 3 kids and then they were assigned to Mike Heath who is excellent, excellent, excellent!
Mike prepared them with the intensive group classes, he posted alll the required material and was available to answer any questions and mark their practice exams. Tracy was available to help with my kids as well as were in a little time crunch to get the exam done. We full heartedly recommend Tracy for ABRSM Grade 5, Thank you from the bottom of our heart to Tracy and Mike Heath.

I’ve had such a good experience with Music Lessons Anywhere. I took piano lessons and a composition workshop with Kelsey and she was so knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I didn’t know what to expect when I first signed up for doing remote lessons but I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of getting started and the skill of their instructors. The whole admin team was organized and also easy to contact if I needed anything. I would definitely recommend giving lessons a try if you’ve been thinking about it.

Music Lessons Anywhere was recommended to me by a friend and what a fantastic recommendation it was. Tracy was amazing at assessing my son for his grade 5 theory and found an excellent tutor (Carol) for him. My son did the 5 day crash course and sat the exam soon after and gained a merit. The support during and after the course was brilliant. Carol provided all the material necessary and was happy to provide support and mark papers even after the course was over. Thoroughly recommend Music Lessons Anywhere for anyone taking their grade 5 theory exam.

Thanks to Jessica and Tracey and a course of intensive theory lessons my daughter passed her Grade 5 theory with distinction - and more importantly enjoyed the lessons!

I have taken Accordion lessons for about a year and Stefan was my instructor. He was excellent and I learned a lot, evern at my young age of 83. Stefan and Tracy were great to do business with and learn from. They also offer lessons on other instruments, a great way to learn. It was a great online experience.

We feel so fortunate to have Tracy as a music theory teacher, and I highly recommend Tracy to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, caring, and committed educator, especially music theory!

My daughter Claire has been a violin student of Liz's since the onset of Covid; she added piano this past year and has enjoyed each instrument tremendously (thank you, Liz and Music Lessons Anywhere!). I started my journey with Music Lessons Anywhere during the spring semester of my eighth grade year. I had long wanted to learn violin, and so when my school shut down and began distance learning, my family jumped at the opportunity to get me started on lessons. Elizabeth Bux was my violin teacher from April of 2020 to August of 2024, and I learned, so, so much from her. She patiently taught me everything, from adjusting my collapsed bridge during our very first lesson to sending me videos and finding songs she knew I'd like. I'm attending Pacific University this fall, and thanks to Liz, I have an annual repeating $6000 music scholarship for my performance on violin. I'm so grateful to her and to Music Lessons Anywhere for helping me to learn this instrument when I didn't have access to a teacher elsewhere. I couldn't recommend these people enough!

My daughter had been using the ipad, ABRSM music theory app and got to grade 2 - however it had taken over 2 years. It was difficult as a parent to watch her struggle on Grade 3 using the app so we began looking for someone to give her a little push... Someone must be able to help right?

Then we came across Tracy, and the rest is history!

My daughter ended up taking the 8 hour intensive course with Tracy. Tracy is a magician! She's a seasoned pro, who puts the child at ease and introduced ways to reduce the difficult concepts, into bitesize portions which were then much easier to understand and memorise.

The 8 hour intensive course was split into 3 zooms over 3 different days ... 3, 3 and 2 hours long. All within February half term week. Tracy also sent us a section of the zoom highlighting, in her experience, difficult areas. Homework was given in between the 3 zooms.

Once the 8 hour course was over, questions from past exam papers were set and my daughter slowly worked through each paper, going over corrections until she was comfortable to sit the exam. Tracy was happy to mark the past papers and give feedback on weaker areas.

It took 3 months from the start of contact with Tracy, to exam day - we were away for Easter which had also stretched the timeframe out. To help aid understanding, Tracy also runs a free 30 min course on Saturday lunchtimes for pupils to go over difficult areas. These were just fantastic - my daughter found these very very useful. THANK YOU Tracy.

Please take time to read the ABRSM rules on the exam - note what is, and what isn't allowed, and how to scan the room. The candidate is given 2 hours to complete the exam, but my daughter finished in 75 minutes.

The results, came through 4 weeks later (via email). We were thrilled to find out my daughter had been awarded a distinction! Thank you so much Tracy! My 11 year old daughter took the Intensive Grade Five Theory course over half term and received excellent results! From our initial discussions with Tracey my daughter was engaged and looking forward to the course. Her tutor Dominique was excellent; the course was well structured and clear.

The weekly theory workshops were also engaging and encouraging; students could ask to cover any topic they may be struggling with.
