The surgeon was excellent.
The surgeon was excellent, the staff very pleasant and knowledgeable. The atmosphere in the clinic was serene and unhurried.As I said to Bola my surgeon she really is a miracle worker, making "the blind to see". I had bilateral cataract surgery, and afterwards I could see without aid which I had not been able to do for 65 years.

When I was told by my optician that I needed my cataracts removed, I was very nervous about the procedure. But there was no need! My-iClinic did more in-depth tests, explained everything, and I was booked in for the operation. It didn't take long, and the result is amazing!

Upgrade from 4 to 5 stars
So far, the clinical experience has been first class throughout. The down side is the availability of local parking which is probably OK if you are set up for it to start with, but having to contend with sorting out a Parking App., and Payment App., without being able to park in the first place is a "trial".
The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that I do not have my post-operation review for another 9 days.

Well here I am three weeks later having had my post-op review. Thankfully it is great news. I can get tested and can get my revised spectacles in about five weeks time.
My previous problems with car parking have been rapidly resolved. The clinic now has a parking arrangement in place, which I used on my review date so it was much easier to park and I was less stressed for my consultation. So now 5 stars.

Perfect place for your eye treatment
My Dad Mr. Babu Thomas had a cataract surgery on his left eye. The doctors and their team were so helpful and explained everything so well. Reception team had a good hospitality and very friendly too. Special thanks to Dr. Bola Odufuwa and receptionist Erida and Soraya.

I was recommended to Mr Bulger by a friend and was very pleased with the entire process for removing cataracts and improving my vision remarkably. It really is a miracle. All of the staff were kind and attentive and with Mr Bulger I felt that I was in very safe hands. Follow up activity was with Ms Odufuwa who was most helpful and attentive

Brilliant Treatment resulted in Brilliant Vision
After noticing that my distance vision when driving was becoming uncomfortable and driving at night was becoming more and more difficult and new prescription glasses didn’t make much difference I decided to have cataract surgery. A friend recommended I have a consultation at the I-Clinic. Their professional examination was really Impressive and I had my totally painless operation to remove the cataracts (on both eyes) completed within the next four weeks.
My operation was done by Ms Odufuwa-Bolger and the result has been outstanding. My thanks to all at the

It has been two months since my ReLEx SMILE eye surgery at My-iClinic, and my vision is better than 20/20 (~20/10), with only minor and receding eye dryness. In the past, I was a regular contact lens user with a -4.25 prescription in both eyes.
Dr John Bolger has taken great care in assessing my vision and health, and explaining the surgery. He performed the correcting procedure with great care, and after 15 minutes I walked out of the surgery on my own without any visual aids or help! The next day I was already back at work (software development), gym the following day (weight lifting) and swimming just a week after - if that is not a miracle, I don't know what is!

I am leaving a four star review with some sadness. I received professional and informative care from Mr John Bolger at my Glaucoma appointments pre covid. As discussed at the time planned cataract surgery to follow. Post covid I booked an appointment with Ms Bola Odufuwa as Mr Bolger was unavailable. Ms Odufuwa was also professional, caring and informative. She performed laser treatment for my cloudy, previously operated (elsewhere) cataract. My vision in this eye is no longer cloudy. Thank you. At the time we discussed and I booked cataract surgery for my other eye. In addition touched on my rearranging Glaucoma clinic appointments. My daughter and I were very happy with my treatment and the overall experience was certainly a positive one.
However, I was distressed by a phone call to cancel and rearrange the cataract surgery. My issue, I had booked and paid for my travel and accommodation £500 and it was impossible to change. I was advised to speak to the manager Mr Pauuel who maybe able to help. I naively thought he may be able bring forward the intended new date to enable me to extend my stay in London… When Mr Pauuel returned my call one and a half hours later he was totally disinterested and sounded bored. There was no suggestion of any kind of compromise or empathy for position I now found myself in. In addition, he gave me a completely different reason for the cancellation! I asked him what confidence I may have in rebooking. He made what I can only describe as gutteral noise but made no comment. At which point the situation appeared to be hopeless and there was no point continuing the conversation.
Whilst I would highly recommend both Mr John Bolger and Ms Bola Odyufuwa. Mr Pauuel’s customer care skills I would rate as Zero. If you have to travel any distance to My i-Clinic make sure you have cancellation insurance in place beforehand.

DOUBLE CATARACT SURGERY
I had double cataract surgery at the clinic, following a referral by my local optometrist. The assessment examination was thorough and extensive and all the options were outlined in great detail before I made my choice. I was given detailed information about the procedure, including written information.
I was apprehensive about the assertion that the procedure while being conscious would be painless and that I would not 'see' anything - this in fact turned out to be totally accurate. The day after , my vision had a clarity not experienced since the age of 11 when I was first prescribed glasses. I had always considered my vision with contact lenses to be excellent until relatively recently . Now, colours are stunning and I have true HD vision!
The care of surgeon and staff was superb both in terms of expertise and information given before, during and after surgery, and also in terms of sympathy and understanding shown

Would highly recommend.
My mum recently had a procedure for both cataracts. Everyone at My-iClinic was extremely helpful and very welcoming. Mum has some mobility issues and great care was taken to ensure mum was comfortable throughout the procedure. We had a follow up last week which went extremely well. Mum's vision has improved considerably. I would highly recommend Dr Bolger and his team. I also had a screening for laser eye surgery which was offered free and Dr Bolger again spent some time discussing the procedure and answering all my questions.

Benenden Insurance-funded procedure. NHS (Moorfields) was going to take 5+ months, whereas My-iClinic did it in only 5 weeks: initial examination 4th March 2022, Operation 24th March 2022, Final examination and discharge 13th April 2022.
Very friendly staff with seemingly happy team atmosphere. Thank you to my surgeon Mr Radwan Almousa for a successful operation - leaving me with crystal clear vision again.
Perfect Cataract Surgery at Reasonable Cost
My-iClinic was recommended by my optometrist. Both eyes were done quickly, painlessly and at reasonable cost by a friendly team and one of two expert eye surgeons. The results are fabulous. I think I've had mine done early before the cataracts developed too much, which I recommend. The clarity is stupendous. Don't wait for your vision to get worse.

Excellent experience (a few years ago now). Quality throughout. I had moderate to bad astigmatism and ended up with normal sight. Legal to drive without glasses. Array of tests beforehand was fascinating

Benefits of cataract treatment just did not last long enough enough
I had my cataracts done two or threee years ago. I used the clinic after rave reviews from my wife. no less! Initially I was delighted with my cataract-free vision, but I am sorry to say that the improvement did not last for anything like the time I expected. I went back to the clinic when I started having problems and one eye was treated with a laser — which improved things for a while, but was very expensive. Now I am having worrying problems again, but I am having to rely on the Royal Free's overstretched Ophthalmology Department, because I simply, and literally, cannot afford My-iClinic's fees!
