I had my cataracts done two or threee years ago. I used the clinic after rave reviews from my wife. no less! Initially I was delighted with my cataract-free vision, but I am sorry to say that the improvement did not last for anything like the time I expected. I went back to the clinic when I started having problems and one eye was treated with a laser — which improved things for a while, but was very expensive. Now I am having worrying problems again, but I am having to rely on the Royal Free's overstretched Ophthalmology Department, because I simply, and literally, cannot afford My-iClinic's fees!

I should like to recommend most highly both My-iClinic and Dr. Sancy Low for cataract surgery there. I visited the clinic to see my consultant Dr. Sancy Low concerning cataract surgery after St Thomas’ private wing, where she also practises, had been forced to close due to covid. My visit took place at what was probably the most difficult time of the pandemic, when a number of staff were either off sick or self-isolating. In spite of such difficult circumstances, the staff and particularly Dr. Low maintained a calm, efficient and professional approach and spent considerable time and effort in compiling accurate measurements for cataract surgery in both eyes. Dr. Low eventually conducted the surgery at St. Thomas’ for insurance reasons and I have written more fully of her brilliant work elsewhere on Trust Pilot. However, I would not have hesitated to have had the surgery at My-iClinic. I should like to express my heartfelt thanks for the initiation of the treatment and the success of the measurements made at your clinic.

Both I and my late wife have had both eyes treated for catteract. I regard the treatement as excellent, and am very happy with the results. The clinic appears to me to be very well equiped for this work.

I was nervous, but I need not have been. After all I was to have both eyes "de-catarcted". Mr Bolger and his staff were excellent. Follow up was good too.

Had cataracts removed just before Covid lockdown.
Brilliant vision restored. Still doing data analysis 2 years on.
Minimum of fuss; pleasant and caring staff.
Would certainly recommend.

Professional and reassuring examination and informative regarding glaucoma

I am extremely pleased with the cataract surgery in both eyes performed by Mr John Bolger. Both the initial assessment and the operation itself were excellent. I recovered very quickly and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

I had cataracts removed/replacement lenses done in both eyes lat August. My vison is good now; i do need distance glasses and a reading set for "proper" reading rather than general living; I have worn glasses all day all my life so I don't find it an inconvenience.
A great pleasure is in being able to drive safely at night in all traffic and lighting conditions.

I had both cataracts replaced and can see BRILLIANTLY now to read and drive ..even see the questions on TV Quizzes .
I am 79 and feel I have my youthful eyesight back .

I spent so much time researching the best place to do my eye surgery. Naturally I wanted the absolute best place because this had to do with my eyesight. I finally came upon my IClinic and had the RELEX SMILE surgery here. Honestly the process was so smooth... I was almost -4 and also had astigmatism, and now my eyesight is so much better. Every one of the staff was friendly and, more importantly, competent. They knew what they were doing and always made sure I was comfortable and healthy. Mr John Bolger was also very thorough and assuring. I also really appreciate that there are numerous follow-up appointments after the actual surgery to make sure your eyes are ok. I would enthusiastically recommend this place to anyone looking to do eye surgery!

The worst Clinic ever,(I wish it could be 0stars ) 😠My husband had an appointment on 17th of January and they change price on the last minute they should see them self in the court actually and not to let this review here ,He wanted to do an operation for both of his eyes,in the beginning they said is £900 each eye and at the last minute 2-3days before the operation they change it for £3600, We wait for that appointment and we planned everything for One month in half and they destroyed our plans , awful Clinic I wouldn’t recommend for no one PLEASE for your own good avoid this Clinic ,they can throw you very easy,so just please avoid such a horrible Clinic

I was referred on to Mr Bolger from Harley Street 5/6 years ago requiring bilateral cataract surgery. The procedure on the left eye was particularly difficult in consequence of many years using eye drops to control glaucoma. The outcome was 100% successful. I no longer need glasses except for reading and the glaucoma no longer requires medication. I continue to see Mr Bolger twice a year for check ups and he shows great care and attention to detail and patiently answers my questions.

I felt really well informed throughout - from the first appointment through to the follow ups. The whole team were friendly and helpful and well informed. The equipment they use is incredible - I actually found the process fascinating. Mr Bolger inspired confidence - I must admit to being a little nervous in advance of the procedure (clearly eyes are pretty vital!) but I felt comfortable I had made the right choice to put my trust in him. And a month on, I am absolutely delighted. Wish I'd done it years ago

I am still enjoying improved vision since the December 2015 Bleak closure surgery by Bola and her team.
