Still no response from Watch MOD
After my previous review dated 16th July, on the 18th July I received a really positive email from Elyza in the escalation team. The email was very apologetic and advised that they would send a replacement watch and replacement bracelet, perfect! You even said in your response to my original review that you would sort this out. Since then I have sent numerous emails asking for confirmation of dispatch but no replay at all from WatchMod? Come on WatchMod, you just need to do what you say you are going to do, how difficult is it to post out 2 items and why can you not respond to any emails? Even your chat service says someone will be online soon and they never, ever turn up? You still have my money and I still have 2 watches that cannot be worn. You tell your customers how well reviewed you are by Wired and Hodinkee etc yet here I am still waiting for my parcel!!

Bought a gmt mod watch and not even two…
Bought a gmt mod watch and not even two months and the watch stopped working. The company wont respond to my warranty claims. In the meantime i ordered a second watch which never came and there is no tracking information. The company just says its on it way but its been delayed by two months and they wont even provide a refund or an eta.
I Would not recommend pruchasing from them

Beautiful watch, just not what I ordered
The watch I received using the configuration had 4 issues when received , the watch itself is very nice , however it is not the watch I ordered using the configurator , I received it with a non-functioning GMT hand , incorrect dial color and incorrect crystal , the bracelet is also of poor quality , unlike the watch itself which seems to be of a good quality and actually keeps remarkable time . After contacting customer support on these matters ( excluding the bracelet as I just replaced it) I was only given a 20% refund, not nearly enough to get a watchmaker to repair it . After spending my refund on a new bracelet, it is a very nice watch…just not the one I ordered using….i would like to purchase several more , however I believe I will research other modding companies before I make another purchase

In this day and age of serious competition, Watch Mod continues to improve the production of this Seiko mods. I was lucky enough to order a Seikoak and although it is a beautiful handcrafted piece it took just a little longer than expected to arrive, but when I received it was worth the wait. Plus customer service kept me abreast of the shipping status. I am a 4 time return buyer!!!

I ordered three watches 8 weeks ago. I only received one and it stopped working a week after I received it. I requested a refund but have not received a response. I am very disappointed in this company and I acknowledge my mistake in trusting a “Feiko” factory.

Con artists, sent my watch which was faulty had condensation inside but because the strap had been modified to size they couldn’t offer me a refund. 1 email a day at best. Spend your money elsewhere.

Excellent marketing skills, Web site design on point, customer assistance not bad. The products are absolute junk in my opinion. Don't think you are getting a watch from their "Swiss" facility as I was told, in fact its straight out of China. My submariner arrived with the band installed backwards, any discerning company would of never let that happen with their quality control. The movement supposedly "Seiko" sure doesn't function like one, hit or miss on adjusting. No returns on a watch you are not happy with unless it's a mechanical issue, then you would have to wait another 6 to 8 weeks or so to go through the return process and receive another inferior product in return. Simply put not a 300.00 watch, maybe a 100.00 watch at best. Definitely not the quality I expected for the price point

Received my order June 5th
Received my order June 5th, 2025. Quality control is really lacking. I ordered 3 watches under the buy 2 get 3 promotion, all 3 have issues. I am very familiar with the Seiko NH35 movement and these watches are absolute junk. I honestly think these are cheap Chinese NH35 knock offs. I ordered the SeikoJust champagne dial (color of the dial is not as advertised) and the Santeiko full black. I set the date and time on both watches with no issues.I tried to manually wind both watches but this only resulted in screwing in the crown. I understand the NH35 is an automatic movement but it has a manual wind option which I utilize frequently. I could not wind the watch without screwing the crown in. I tried so many times to see if I was doing anything wrong but it was the same result.
I emailed the company and they sent me a ridiculously insulting video of how to adjust and wind the watch. Did they even read my complaint?
Don’t waste your time and money with this company. I have 5 other microbrand watches with the NH35 and never experienced this issue. The pictures on the website look nice but the quality is garbage. I have also purchased other Seiko mod watches and had a great experience. This company just doesn’t cut it!!!
Update June 26th: I sent videos of the issue I am experiencing and have been completely ghosted by Emily. The company did not even offer to make things right. Look at the overall reviews of Watch Mod. Over 30% are 1 star. Do the math…if you take “advantage” of their 3for2 promotion, it is highly likely that 1 of the 3 watches will have an issue. Do you like those odds?
If you want a quality Seiko mod watch, I highly recommend Moddy’s and PS Watch Mods. The websites aren’t as good as Watch Mod but the actual product is much higher quality. Do your research and don’t take unnecessary risks with companies like Watch Mod.
I hope I can help just 1 person avoid the aggravation that Watch Mod caused me. Do the research and protect yourself!!
Update July 12th: This ridiculous saga continues with Elyza on the "Escalation" team. The only thing that has escalated is my frustration. I was told by Elyza that I would have a response by no later than Sunday July 6th. I finally got tired of waiting on Thursday July 10th and reached out. The following day Elyza emailed and said she was requesting an urgent review of the 3 videos I sent. However, if I wanted options, I could send all 3 watches back to France at my own expense (shipping and customs) to await their review and any potential compensation.
This company outsources their manufacturing to China and has zero control over product quality. However, they have 100% control over Customer Service and have failed miserably at making me feel like they really want to make this right. I have given up...which I believe was the intent all along with their stalling tactics. This experience has taught me that you need to protect yourself by doing your research. I hope I can spare others the ridiculous nonsense that I have endured with this purchase experience.

Daylight robbery.
I ordered a basic white dial sky dweller and as soon as I opened the box I noticed the dial misaligned and unevenly set.
Multiple emails sent to Watch Mod with pics clearly showing the issue and not getting anywhere with Mira in customer service.
They are simply stalling and as per previous comments and hoping I will go away.
I have reported them to Facebook and now begun a legal process to put an end to this scam.
No doubt, some Watch Mod customer service representative will reply to this review offering their sincere apologies but again that’s just there way of attempting to box off this review and continue the scam as they more than likely still have defective stock they need to sell to genuine Facebook users.
My only conciliation is that I ordered a relatively cheap watch and not something more expensive from this fraudulent company.
Hopefully Facebook (who don’t need the money) will do more to prevent fraudulent activity like this on their platform.
Hopefully this review helps the next potential victim.
