SCAM, SCAM SCAM , PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE, I WAS TRYING TO RENEW MY PASSPORT, I WENT ON THEIR WEBSITE THINKING IT WAS A GOVERNMENT WEBSITE, I PUT IN ALL MY INFORMATION AND I WAS CHARGED $156 , WHEN I PRINTED THE APPLICATION, THEY SAID I HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA $187 FOR GOVERNMENT FEE, I THOUGHT THAT WAS TOO MUCH MONEY, SO I IMMEDIATELY REQUESTED CANCELLATION OF THE APPLICATION, THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL SAYING THEY WOULD LOOK INTO IT AND SOMEONE WOULD BE IN TOUCH WITH ME, NO ONE HAS CALLED ME, SO I CALLED THEM WITH A NUMBER PROVIDED ,NO ANSWER, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE......

No answer to review or emails. Checked with state department passport status and still showing as not found. Will be calling state department today

I paid them $180 on top of governmental fees for expedited service and did not get it. When I complained, they made canned excuses about Covid, but they knew all about Covid delays when they took my money and promised expedited service. When I asked for a refund, they ignored me. STAY AWAY!

The reviews are correct. The phone numbers they supply are sent to same place where they put you on hold and no one answers. I am not able to get through to any live person and now I have to report my passport as stolen and start the process of getting a new passport.

I’ve been waiting for my passport renewal since March, it’s late July and still nothing! I paid extra money for nothing! Please beware!

GovWorks.com is a poor service, be cautious, not worth the effort. Customer service is non existent and when you inquire no one calls back.

If you follow the directions they give you and do everything in a timely manner, there shouldn't be an issue. I was scared because I placed my order first and then I read all the negative reviews so I started freaking out thinking this was a scam. its not. I got my passport in the time they said I would with no hassles. Yes its expensive but thats what I get for waiting 2 weeks before my trip to order a passport. The only negative comment I would make is that they take forever to answer the phone and they are closed on the weekends. Other than that, just be patient on the phone and youll be fine.

If there was a 0zero review, that is what Govworks will get. Scammers. Please BEWARE😡😡

A little upset that I can't provide a 0-star rating. Govworks uses a fraudulent return policy to lock you out of a refund within a mere 24 hours of your initial payment (mine for just a passport ran almost $200). They are not clear whatsoever prior to payment that certain information about travel will be required, and as the case with me, the first mention comes only AFTER completing the website application. I was first told of the requirement when I got the followup call. For all of this to happen within a 24 hour window is, by design, unfeasible. I was met with stonewall resistance upon requesting my refund seeing as I was not able to use the service.

DO NOT use this company. I'm out $250 for a passport I was never even able to complete the application for, and received no response from customer service despite numerous attempts. Despite all this they denied my request for a refund. SCAM. DO NOT USE. They should be shut down.

Unclear instructions, lots of backtracking and running around, no proactive communication and misinformation when I reached out to them. Didn’t get my passport on time and missed me trip. They didn’t care at all

Not able to fulfill requests in amount of time they say and charge card before they know if they can or not then do not want to offer a refund. I filled in all info. online on a Monday, I needed the passport by Friday. They billed my card and when I was done the online process says you have to call to finish the request. When I called the lady on the line said they would not be able to get me the passport by Friday and I would need to request a refund online. I did so and never heard from anyone so I called. I was told I could not have a refund because of their terms of Service. I informed her I was told I needed to request one from their people because they could not get me the passport by the time I needed it. After filing a Fraud charge through my credit card and e-mailing and calling them numerous times I finally got an email saying they do not ever do refunds but they would this one time. This is not good business practice. They should not be charging anyones card until they know they can provide the service.

SCAM! Stay far away. 2 weeks later, trip 3 days away and I do not have my passport, I DO NOT HAVE MY PROOF/paperwork back so I can’t even attempt to get my passport on my own. I do not have a refund!! You can’t reach them. I’ve tried working with their vendor but it’s too late for me. I’m out a great deal of money. Lie. Cheat. Steal. Stay away. Far, far away. Is anyone willing to come forward with a class action?

I worked with a representative. Filled out the forms, paid and sent my documents into their offices. That rep was fired and my forms just sat unworked until I called in to find out the progress. I have since not heard back from them having emailed and called (and yes, left messages). I am currently sitting on hold and have been for at least 15 minutes.
NOT happy. IF you chose this company, be very careful.
