A very good delivery service for two…

A very good delivery service for two out of three bags shipped, arriving within the expected time frame.

Very easy service to use from booking in the items to clear instructions how to affix labels. Items were collected within the indicated time, and we were provided progress updates along the way. 3 items shipped, 2 items received within the week as expected.

Last item has tracked to same delivery hub (arrived on the same date) but still not received.

Avoid. They take your money and vanish the moment anything goes wrong.

I used My Baggage to ship to Germany and the experience was a masterclass in how to fail a customer.

The shipment was stuck at German customs because FedEx demanded documentation I had already provided through My Baggage's own customs form including proof of my German nationality. The information was sitting right there in the paperwork they forced me to fill in. FedEx ignored it and kept asking for more, dragging out over a week of back-and-forth while My Baggage stood by and watched. The bag eventually turned up, over a week late, with absolutely no thanks to them.

When I complained, the response from customer service was a textbook deflection: warm apologies, a patronising lecture about how customs is "technically" between me and the local authorities, and a smug reminder that I'd signed up to the courier's terms of service. Not one of my three specific requests was acknowledged. The entire reply was engineered to make their failure my problem.

The whole point of paying My Baggage instead of booking FedEx directly is that they're supposed to manage the customs and courier layer for you. The second it goes wrong, you discover that they see themselves as a middleman with zero responsibility for the outcome they just sold you "shipping" and the rest is apparently your problem.

If your route is straightforward, you'll probably be fine. The moment anything goes wrong, you are completely on your own and they will tell you so, politely, while pocketing your money. Use literally anyone else.

Hi Lucas, thank you for your review and for using My Baggage. We can seeypu sent three items from the UK to Germay and this was delivered on the 22nd of May.

We’re sorry to hear about the frustration caused by the customs clearance process. Since the UK left the EU, every shipment is checked and cleared by the delivery country's customs agency who work closely with all couriers. Customs checks are handled on a case by case basis, but customs is a government agency and all couriers must co-operate with their requirements. Neither My Baggage nor the courier can control customs holds, processing times, or requests for further information.

Once you contacted us on 19th May, our team raised this with FedEx and opened a case to chase this further. This was the first you raised this with us and our team acted straight away. You were in touch with the courier from the 11th of May and only contacted us over a week later. We feel it is unfair to claim that our team did nothing. As soon as we are contacted about any issues, we are always more than happy to assist.

This was such an easy experience

This was such an easy experience. I sent 6 boxes of my things from the UK to Cyprus. Every step was taken care of.
I only wish I had know right from the start I needed double walled boxes and not once I booked. A great service if you aren’t moving houses and need a few things sent over to a different country.

Thank goodness for MyBaggage

I have used MyBaggage (or UniBaggage as it was previously known) many times before. I have used them because it is great to have a third party to help if you experience problems. On this occasion, I really did! The package was destined for Budapest and we had a week of constant problems and barriers obstructing delivery. All the team were great but I would like to single out Ryan as he was particularly helpful. I will be using MyBaggage again and I will recommend the Company to my friends.

Shipping from Portugal to USA was a breeze

Shipping a large suitcase home during my 17-day trip to Portugal, Amsterdam, and London turned out to be the best decision I made once I realized how difficult it would be to keep traveling with too much luggage.
Why I Shipped My Suitcase
I had overpacked for the trip, including one large suitcase. Once I arrived in Portugal, it became clear that moving around the country with such a large bag would be a hassle. I also knew flying onward to Amsterdam with it would make the trip more difficult, so I decided to ship the suitcase home with the extra clothing I did not need. Lesson learned: pack light.
How the Process Worked
I scheduled a pickup with My Baggage from a hotel where I stayed in Aviero on my way to Porto. The booking process was easy. I listed each item on the customs forms, uploaded the paperwork, and saw that the earliest pickup date was two days later. Because I was leaving the hotel that same day, I was able to leave the suitcase with the hotel and did not need to be there in person for the pickup.
Outcome and Final Verdict
I was able to track the suitcase from the time it was collected until it reached its destination in the United States. It arrived in good condition, which was the most important thing to me. The only drawback was that it arrived one day later than expected, but that was not a major issue because I was not returning to the United States right away and did not need it by a specific date.
Overall, I would recommend My Baggage to travelers who want a convenient way to ship luggage home, especially if they realize mid-trip that they packed more than they need.

It was quite a simple process

It was quite a simple process! I had never done this before so was not sure on what customs forms, etc were needed. But this website really took the complexities out of it. So I would recommend! Suitcases arrived to US in 4 days, ahead of schedule and no problems.
