FABULOUS! Jack, in particular, has been very thorough & patient when explaining to me what actually needed doing on my car after l’d had the basic service done by a RAC Service Centre & was shocked their report back stated my car needed over $3000 worth of repairs!😳😲
I phoned MyCar Cannington, spoke to Jack…he heard my concerns, explained exactly what the RAC report meant, after l’d already spoken to 2 different people @ the RAC Centre & they were unclear & not particularly helpful & gave me very ’light’ info & questionable feedback on the quoted recommendations.
I then phoned MyCar Cannington & read the RAC list to Jack over the phone. He quoted me hundreds of $ below the RAC quote to do the repairs …plus he said he would assess each item on my actual car as to how urgently each needed doing….& would let me know.
Long story short, Jack made booking my car in at short notice a very easy process, even when l had to cancel & reschedule…& after inspection he advised me a lot of the RAC itemised work was not urgent or serious & could wait & be reassessed middle of 2026 to see how things were looking then; PLUS the needful work done on my car came to under $950!!!

I’ve been using Mycar Auto for several years now with logbook servicing. My last one was done and it wasn't dated or signed by them. So when it came to the next logbook service I had no idea when it was last serviced. I would book online however I had to call to find out when my car is due and when was the last service. At the same time I saw a promo with a discount for log book servicing. As I was on the phone finding out the date of my service it turns out my car was due and over the phone we booked a date to come in. When it came to payment I showed the staff the promo but they wouldn't allow it as I booked my car through someone on the phone and not online. I explained that I wouldn’t have had to call if my log book was filled in correctly in the first place. I also had to have 4 tyres to change which I was going to do with them. However they failed to acknowledge their initial mistake which resulted in the phone call and also lost a loyal repeat customer.

I had very bad experiences with the manager and two mechanics.
I had very bad experiences with the manager and two mechanics. One of the mechanics ate and spilt food as well as sauce in my car front seats and carpets while he drove my car for thirty minutes to test the newly installed front tyres. When I told the manager about it as there were bad food smell and evidences of food as well as sauce stains in my car, he initially denied it but upon my insistence, the manager spoke to the mechanic who also denied his actions. When I insisted that the mechanic ate and spilt food in my car, the mechanic got angry and aggressively pointed the middle finger to my face as well as shouted vulgarities at me. He challenged me to a fight with his aggressive stance and told me to state the food he ate and where he bought it from. And, he told me that I can complain about his ugly behaviour as he is not a main staff at MyCar Tyre & Auto Carousel. He claimed that he is from MyCar Tyre & Auto West Perth branch. Another mechanic cleaned my car front passenger seat with a sponge and solution twice as the first time he did it, I pointed out that there was still a foul smell. I asked for anti-bacterial wipes for me to clean my car front passenger seat. Instead, looking unhappy, he scrubbed hard my car front passenger car seat with the sponge and substance which I am not sure of their cleanliness and the solution he used respectively. Additionally, my car front rims were dirtied by the change of tyres and none of the mechanic bothered to clean them. I am also concerned whether my car new front tyres as well as wheels were fixed, aligned and balanced properly. Thus, I am now monitoring my car tyres, wheels, front seats, carpets and steering wheel of any food smell, stains, damages and misalignment. I am very disappointed by the very bad service given to me.
