Dont use Mycar Elanora
I made an online booking for 22/1/26 to get two front tyres and a wheel alignment. The car was dropped off at 945am and I returned at 315pm to find that nothing had been done even though I' already paid for the service. I was told "Its because it was a online booking". The car was again dropped on the 23/1/26 at 4pm and I was assured it would be done by 5pm. I returned at 5pm only to find that the car was still in the service lift being worked on and I didn't get it for another 15 minutes which became problematic as I was on a work break to pick the car up and was therefore late retuning to work. Upon driving the car I noticed that the steering was not aligned, when the steering wheel was centered the car pulled to the right, so one would assume that the wheel alignment had not be done. The car was dropped into Elanora again today at 9.45am and I advised that Id pick the car up at 1pm. Low and behold I actually got the car just before 3pm as when I went to pick it up nothing had been done and I was told "Sorry we were smashed by online". Well its seems I cant win either way can I. To add insult to injury the car still pulls to the right when the steering wheel is centered and I'm truly not confident in placing my car into the care of the people at Mycar Elanora.

Thanks Team Elanora!
The store manager when out of his way to help me sort a problem prior to driving up the Bruce Highway on dodgy pot holed roads. This is not the first time and I prefer to get my car serviced here when i am down from the north. They are thorough, caring and polite, with an efficiency that means you are not waiting around for hours. I can highly recommend them, been using them for several years now.

Mixed feelings here.
Mixed feelings here.
We have been maintaining our family cars here for the past 4 years, and they have been super pleasant to deal with.
However, a year ago, as part of one of the maintenance tasks, the suggested changing a belt. Since the day they changed it, it squeaked. Even though we went back two times to get it fixed, we were told it was OK. 10 months later, the belt fully snapped. We raised this several times, they didn't fixed it and have charged us again to put in a new belt, which now doesn't squeak at all.
The biggest challenge is that after the belt snapped, the air conditioner stopped working as well. According to them, it's not related and it's because of the aircon clutch. Before this happened, it was not a problem. We have taken the car to an aircon specialist, and they have suggested that if the belt was incorrectly fitted, it could have definitely created the problem. The repair costs are $1700.
So yeah, they have been great, but for this one, I feel they haven't been fully transparent. For now, we will try a new local mechanic for the bi-yearly maintenance and see what works best for us.
Long time happy customer…
