I came in for a pink slip and was told…
I came in for a pink slip and was told I needed all four tyres replaced and new windscreen wipers, with a quote of around $1200 for my car to pass
I declined and instead decided to get a second opinion. Another mechanic inspected the car, showed me the inner tread wear, and confirmed only the two front tyres were at 1.5mm and needed replacing. The rear tyres and windscreen wipers were fine. I had the tyres replaced and pink slip completed for $311.
Based on my experience, I found the information provided to be misleading and recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to repairs here.

Great communication and prompt service. Replaced all 4 tyres with wheel alignment and was expecting the tyres and wheels to be given a clean and shine but had residue of grease on the wheels which did make it look shabby.
