I finally found a good honest and professional young mechanic in the GC so conveniently located in AustraliaFair the manager of MyCar garage. We have now come twice and lately changed the back breaks and rotors and all four tires of our little blue Hyundai I30 at a reasonable price.
The owner/manager changed our front light 💡 bulb at no cost. It pays off to be a loyal customer.
We will come back again to change the front brakes next year as they are squeaking. Hope they keep the good service’s consistency at a reasonable price.

Easy to book in .
Given price before work commenced.
Finished when promised.
Access and parking good.
Counter staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Efficient and friendly like usual

I have been with Mycar since 14/10/2019 & always experienced good service with advice what is urgent to fix & what is not.
On the tax invoice there is a section showing what needs attention, but not what can be left & what should be fixed asap.
On my tax invoice of 24/4/26 2 items "drivebelt worn". How urgent & approx cost?
My power steering fail once but then resumed working. Invoice advised "possible clock spring or EPS motor fault refer to auto elec"
That I will do urgently, but in my previous service on the 13/10/25 there was a note "noise in steering rack - possible motor or clock spring"
No advice on urgency.
I couldn't hear the steering noise & was not aware that it could be urgent.
In the past Mycar had advised of what had to be done so that I could make arrangements for rectifications & feel my car is safe to drive.
I am just advising you guys to tell clients when things should be fixed & approx costs if available.

Customer service rep understood the urgency and was able to book me in for a replacement 30mins after the call.

I can always trust the team at mycar southport to provide exceptional service and support. I have been going to them for a few years now and I think it’s great they are using trust pilot for reviews, as google only lets you do one review per business or takes you to edit a previous review. Everyone I have spoken to seems so authentic and they genuinely care about their customers. Always efficient and reliable!! My micra constantly having issues and they always squeeze me in and take care of her 🤝

Professional advice, easy access, choice of service type.

Great service prompt. Unsure if they damaged my car. So I will leave it at that as I only went two places that day. One had footage proving it was not them.
