The reason for the low rating is that the Zappi charger failed after just a few weeks use. I am impressed however by the warranty aftercare. A new charger has been received with a planned installation date in the next 2 weeks. I hope that the replacement lasts longer.

This is a week built device which is simple to use. There are lots of options in the settings so you will find what works for you. Had no problems charging my Tesla

The hard- and software are pretty good, charging from grid (11 KW) as well as with surplus power from PV is smart and easy. Of course the price is much higher than less sophisticated models without automated charging of surplus power. The installation is in general easy, but on German 3-phase grid the electrician needs to be very familiar with Zappi and the proper installation of the CT's (we needed harvi therefore, which is very recommendable). The electrical installation of our house has a mix-up in the phase order between grid connection and the fuses towards the Wallbox, which confused two installers and took a while to fix it.
