If ever you wanted an example of excellent personal customer service, this is it.

I initially went on a search for something unique for a birthday gift, and something with meaning. The idea of having a link to a piece of music in itself can create an emotional tie, but to have that be the No.1 from the day your were born, and on vinyl, makes it really quite special.

From the choice of product to delivery, the process was flawless. Add to that the personal contact from the vendor and you have confidence in your purchase.

The finished product itself is beautifully done, with the vinyl single being securely mounted and framed. The engraved plaque adds that hugely personal touch with a message of your choice. And that makes the whole thing unique.

My thanks to Simon for not only supplying a quality product, but for his exemplary service and making me feel like a valued customer from day one.

Emailed with some questions before I purchased and Simon was very prompt and informative in his response. He kept in constant contact throughout with order updates.
There was a delay due the record being imported but it was definitely worth the wait. It was a present for our 16 year old son, such a personal gift and great keepsake.

Very happy with my purchase from myfirstrecord. I ordered the framed record with a metal plaque as a present for my sister to celebrate her first dance wedding song. The company was quick to respond to any questions I had before my purchase. The product itself looked professional and was well-liked by my sister.

Great idea, executed well. Simon was very helpful, and kept me up to date as things were progressing. Only thing I would mention that wasn't great, is that the frame arrived without the back secured properly. I almost broke it trying to bend the metal clasps to hold the back on. But that only took 15 mins of tinkering with it. Other than that, great experience overall

I want the geniune article when I buy gifts and I wasn't disappointed. The vinyl and engraving really stood out from the others available online. The service was excellent (even at the tipping point of another lockdown) and arrived promptly and extremely well packaged. The recipient was so impressed, he immediately wanted to order for his parents upcoming anniversary. I would highly recommend.

I stumbled across this website when I was looking for a gift for my Brother's 60th Birthday. As I live in Australia, I was looking for something online that could be delivered in time to the UK. I have not personally seen the finished product however, my Sister tells me it is a lovely gift. I have no doubt my Brother will love it. Very prompt service and communication from Simon.

I stumbled across My First Record on Facebook. They made some great competitions for followers to enter and I won one of them. With no cost to me, Simon posted my prize soon after the result. My framed John Lennon single looks amazing. It is professional quality and includes a small engraved plaque to record my achievement at winning the competition. If they are prepared to go to this much care and effort to make a framed record that they are not getting paid for, I would think that anyone who intends to buy from them will get at least the same high quality for their money.

My dad gave me all his old vinyls so as a way of saying thank you, I had one of his favorite albums framed., He absolutely loved it and as its such a unique gift, it will be a treasured as well as being a talking point for some time to come. A memory for his memories. Will absolutely buy from MyFirst record again.

My experience from start to finish was a pleasure. An excellent choice of media and an amazing final product that has pride of place. I would recommend them to everyone who want to buy something special for an occasion.

Excellent service, despite Covid the record was found, framed and delivered in plenty of time. My boyfriend loves it as do others who have seen it. This is my first review for this fabulous company from which I had the honor of winning a competition on they held on Facebook, "My Favorite James Bond Song"

The service and communication has been first class from the get go. A great experience too was had during the competition as I had the opportunity of sharing an old memory and experience from 30 odd years ago, and with that won me 1st prize being this awesome frame with a 7" vinyl record of Shirley Bassey's Diamond Are Forever along with a fabulous engraved plaque at the bottom.

Great quality frame, and great follow up service. If you want your favorite vinyl putting in a frame for a gift or memento... here is your first and only stop!

My partner has just recently had her first ever book published so I asked MyFirstRecord to frame her book cover with a plaque.
I received a call from Simon within minutes of sending the request. Due to the fact that the book was just released and would therefore cost a bit more to acquire, he needed to ask me to pay a surcharge. I appreciated his honesty and his demeanour so had absolutely no problem paying the additional £10 requested.

Despite COVID, the package arrived in good time and my partner loved it. Good quality work and customer service.

My partner had recently lost both her parents, they had particular songs that meant a lot to her and them.
After some internet research I found this company - on the basis that they used "original" records...so I gave it a go... not cheap ..but really pleased with the products that look classy and have been well mounted. I found the customer service to be great - a personal email from the team explaining how long etc.
I will say that im a normal punter not connected with this firm, didn't get any discount, so this is a genuine review, yes I would recommend they make an excellent keep sake, give them a go
