MyGermany offer an efficient freight forwarding service. I had a medium size appliance delivered, from their site I could calculate costs and additional insurance costs easily. Once it was received in their warehouse they promptly processed this.

I did have to contest the quote I was provided as this was significantly higher than that initially quoted, but in myGermany's credit they refunded they difference almost straight away - and on that note Dora from their customer facing team was a pleasure to deal with, providing prompt concise information as needed. Thank you!

Very friendly customer service! fees are very reasonable, and I believe their concierge service is the only one in Germany. Most other proxy only provide you with a German address where you can ship your item to their warehouse, however myGermany offers an address and a personal shopper which is a life saver! love it!

The package consolidation service is really excellent and saves shipping costs.
The site is clear, and reflects the days left for storage.

I am a customer of MyGermany since 2017, constantly using the services. Always the best customer service, fast processing of my packages. Great shipping rates. And they will do anything possible to accommodate any special and difficult requests. Highly recommended.

There were 3 big problems with myGermany:

1.
They declared that a small chest bag costs 500 euros, which is incorrect. I contacted *******@mygermany.com, and no response for **15 days**. Then I sent a second email, and Dora replied this:

"maybe you have not added the order but they are 2 different orders as from what I can see. Do you want me to check if they are complety different?"

It didn't make sense, so I explained the situation again; I didn't get a reply.

After that, I found that I could change the declared value in the app. The items did need to be rearranged, but I only changed the declared value.

2.
I received the package, and when I opened the box, I found that my expensive inflatable sleeping pad was punctured with a box cutter. It was a long cut. Luckily, I successfully taped it.

I recorded the unpacking and uploaded it to Sitejabber since I couldn't upload it here.

After all of this, I mistakenly bought items to my MyGermany address instead of my Mailboxde address, because I had it saved in my Amazon account. I wanted to return it, so I submitted a return request for the cheapest item to test the functionality. The item disappeared from my suite, but it didn't get returned, nor did I receive any message about it. With that option eliminated, I submitted a shipping request for other items to my home address. After a few days, MyGermyny (Dora) notified me that I had to pay more than double because it contained a special item. The previous time, the same item was successfully sent to my home address with valid special declarations, but it didn't cost that much.

I gave up on that and asked for a refund for the DHL delivery payment. MyGermany said that they had refunded it to my account. I didn't see it anywhere there. Then, I again asked them to refund it to the payment method I used (payment card via PayPay). Multiple days later, there was no response. After I submitted a PayPal complaint, MyGermany refunded it the same day.

Since they scam returning it and scam sending it to my home address, my items stayed with them.

Customer service was top notch! All of my questions were answered in a timely manner. I highly recommend to anyone that needs special items to be ship.

I had a unique opportunity to inherit a woodworking bench made by my great grandfather. The only challenge was that I had to move it from Germany to the US. After a few hours of research, I found MyGermany.com. After scrolling through their website, it seemed they would be the right company to help me with this. I reached out to them to get pricing information and after a few emails back and forth, with them asking detailed questions on weight, dimensions, shipment method, involved addresses, exact plans for pickup and delivery, and packaging, I had my quote. It was a fair price and I decided to go with them. There were a few handoffs during this process, but everyone I interacted with was very helpful and responsive.

A few months later, I was ready to go to Germany to disassemble the bench and get it ready for pickup. I contacted MyGermany again and after a few more emails, they were able to schedule the pickup for a specified date and time. The driver showed up on time and once the bench was in the warehouse of MyGermany, they were able to finalize the pricing for the shipping crate and the transport. The pricing was in line with the quoted price for everything except the crating. This was several hundred Euros higher than the initial quote, but after just one additional email, they honored the quoted price.

Once the bench was packed up and they received their final payment, it was shipped very quickly. There was a slight delay getting it out of the Frankfurt airport, but after 4 days of waiting, it was released and on its way. Just one week later, the bench was delivered directly to my house.

The crate was well built and in good condition upon arrival. After the driver unloaded it, I began unpacking it and was happy to see that everything was intact and all parts were there. MyGermany did a great job with the crate.

Overall, I’m very pleased with MyGermany. The process wasn’t easy and it took a bit of work to provide all the details, but MyGermany did a good job and got this priceless heirloom moved to my home successfully.

They quoted me a price for door-to-door delivery, that I paid. After I had paid they told me that there would be extra costs because a broker would handle the domestic transport to my house from the port. Now they do not respond to me when I tell them that is unfair, that I paid their price for door-to-door delivery.
