OK - but recommend to include extra equipment in test kit
Overall happy - except I personally found it very difficult to extract the blood. Recommend to include a pipette - same as when you are tested to give blood. As a consequence not all my tests were completed. The rest of the service fast and spot on

Our Food Intolerances & Sensitivities DNA Test evaluates genetic predispositions to certain dietary components, meaning naturally occurring substances found within foods, such as lactose (milk sugar), gluten proteins, caffeine, sodium, and alcohol metabolism pathways, rather than measuring or diagnosing current reactions or intolerances to specific individual foods.
With regard to lactose, the test analyses genetic markers associated with the body’s ability to produce lactase, the enzyme responsible for digesting lactose (milk sugar). While this can indicate a genetic predisposition to lactose intolerance, it does not determine exactly how an individual will personally react or predict symptom severity, as this can vary significantly between individuals. It is also important to note that some people may react to dairy products for reasons other than lactose itself, including sensitivities or reactions to milk proteins such as casein.
Reactions to foods can also be influenced by many additional factors beyond genetics, including overall gut health and underlying gastrointestinal conditions such as IBS, dysbiosis, SIBO, gut inflammation, or visceral hypersensitivity. Because of this, genetic insights should always be considered alongside personal experience and, where appropriate, guidance from a healthcare professional.
