Doctors would not test for intolerances so bought this kit. As I could link the test results on to the NHS patient knows best platform I now have a referral to allergy clinic.
The test was easy to complete and results provided some support around what to eat or cut out.

I just want to fairly update my review and express my gratitude to the MHC Team, especially Lucy, who gave her extra mile in contacting me even when the blood samples I sent twice did not arrive in proper condition to run the tests. She was able process the refund, and that shows how serious and fair they are with their customers. They are people who care about you.

I am quite happy with them. MHC offer a great and affordable range of services and tests that allow us to detect through saliva, blood, etc samples ongoing health issues and tackle them soon. And you can even share some of the results with NHS if you want to.

I know they are in the middle of improving the sample delivery method to their labs, and trying to create reliable sample collection points directly on Boots or similar when possible. I hope they manage to get that. That would be a game changer and win-win for everyone. Best wishes.

Can’t actually tell you what you’re intolerant to, just says if you’re low - high risk. But even if you’re low risk and have symptoms, it says “to speak to a medical professional because you may have it”… so it’s a con. None of my results made sense in relation to symptoms I actually have.

Issues activating my kit too. No number to call. Customer service via email answered quickly which is why it’s not a one star.

But ultimately, a fat waste of money

Quick, efficient and easy tests to do with good explanations for each thing tested. I found the Vitamins and Minerals test particularly informative. Having the gene type is also great for further investigations. Provided answers to health issues that I've been trying to solve for years. Best money I've spent, so glad I did them.

I had a god experience, the results gave me a better understanding of my health issues.

This test gave me the results I finally needed! I was turned away from my GP with the symptoms I had and told it was probably because I'm anxious. They have now listened to me as I can prove my deficiencies. Awful that it had to come to me paying privately for this test but I am glad I did. The results are in depth with information about my genome and advice on the results to go forward!

The test I took was a vitamins and Minerals DNA test.

To start with I have to say that this test was incredibly easy. The instructions were simple enough to follow and just required a swab of the inside of my cheek for about a minute.

I then sealed this away and posted it in the envelope (provided) to return.

A few days later and I had the results on the online dashboard. You do get an email to notify you when results are ready.

The best part about this test is that it shows you what actions you can take to help with the results presented to you.
For example if you have a generic predisposition for lower levels of Omega 3, the results will recommend what foods you should have to counter this and maintain healthy levels.

Definitely worth doing for the minimal effort required! Highly recommended

It confirmed what I thought that I have sensitives. I think the instructions on how to use this product could be better and easier to understand. Watching the YouTube videos on repeat helped. With your results you get picture icons on things to eat/drink and things to avoid or eat less off which is also helpful for further learning in your own time. I think the overall experience of this service is positive and effective.

I ordered a home test for Vit D blood levels.
It was good value, and was delivered quickly.
I thought there was part of the kit missing and got intouch with customer services who were very prompt in replying explaining how it was packed and where the part was. So there was a good outcome both interms of getting the product and follow up.

Incredible service, I highly recommend it. I’ve made changes to my diet based on my results and feel fantastic. I’ve tried other home testing kits before, but the ease and speed of MyHealthChecked was superior. Good value for money and helpful advice after my results to help me make the changes I needed.

After very carefully following the instructions and sending off my sample for testing, I received an email stating that it could not be processed, so it was all a waste of time and money.

"We are writing to let you know that we have received your DNA test results back from our laboratory. Unfortunately, some data points were missing, which has led to incomplete results in your report.
