Shambolic company, shouldn’t be allowed to operate

Arranged and paid for a package to be picked up. Firstly, received an email advising that the package would be picked up from the delivery address????Contacted Hermes by phone (yes by phone) and advised that there were some issues with the emails indicating incorrect information. Advised the driver was 15 kilometres from correct pick up designation.
Informed the people who were waiting for the package to be picked up and after two days (Tuesday and Wednesday last week), the package still hadn’t been collected. Received another email on Thursday last week to say package would be picked up between 11:00 and 13:00, still no collection. The driver arrived at 13:55 and the senders weren’t in (after staying in for 2 1/2 days).
Decided to cancel the contract and contacted Hermes to get reimbursement. Still received information about possible pick up and the icing on the cake was late on Saturday evening when the senders had a knock on the door and there was the Hermes guy to pick up the package. Just that day, they had taken off the wrapping paper. Shambolic company, shouldn’t be allowed to operate.

Herm- pee/ herpees or no sorry germ per? No it’s Hermes, same difference. Stay away from this company, impossible to speak to a human There and all their little app is doing is giving you a run around until you go bald. Cheers

I am so so tired of items that I have…

I am so so tired of items that I have posted and packaged well arriving broken….. I’ve never known a company to have such little respect in peoples items, and have witnessed first hand the manhandling of items and the necessity to over pack their vans in order to make everything fit, throwing parcels in and trampling over everything…. Avoid using this company if at all possible…. They have their backs covered in terms of you making a claim, so know they can treat your items with no care whatsoever……

Lost packages, weeks of delivery time, and misinformation

Tried to send 2 packages with them in total. Both times the packages were stuck in Vienna for weeks (yes, actual weeks). Then it was shown that it was handed over to DPD of the recipient country. DPD did not find the package in their system, instead it was delivered to the national post service. In the tracking system it was shown that the recipient was informed. Recipient was not, in fact, informed that the package will be delivered.
So now we have to do some package tracking down by ourselves, because Hermes is incapable of posting accurate information.
Thanks, Hermes, but I'll use national post next time, or any other service, for that matter. It'll be faster and safer.

19 days since i sent my parcel

19 days since i sent my parcel (paid for next day delivery), no updated tracking, spoke to customer service twice, lies both times, said it would be delivered in 24/48 hours. Finally admitted they had no idea where it was. FINAL STRAW. what an appalling COMPANY. I'd give no stars if i could.

Paid for courier next day delivery service, waited in ALL day- no communications at all- no way of communicating with the company, except a digital question and then told I will get for a response in 2 days!!
still NOTHING today either

Blonde old 🐄 won't even deliver to my…

The hermes Blonde old 🐄 elivery driver won't even deliver to my house on account of her stealing my parcel and I dared to complain about it 🙄 recieved the email it was out for delivery which it never arrived apparently she had 'lost' it somewhere on the route to mine, nothing got done about this except her refusing to deliver to my house and there's no one to contact to do anything about it

Hermes or MY Hermes are all about Misleading their customers

To all fellow internet ordering and shipping users. I highly advise you to avoid using My Hermes services at any cost! do not get fooled by their offers, prices, or whatever they try to convince you with if you care about your item and whatever you are shipping with them! they have lost / broken / or probably stollen my parcel and have not replied or answered to any of my emails calls or requested to resolve this matter. Simply a service to avoid and not to ever trust ! absolutely disappointed and will let everyone know that they are all about fraud and misleading their customers. Horrible!

Just beyond appalling

I’ve used them twice (once a year ago so COVID-19 is not an excuse), both times they completely messed up the order and were unbelievably unhelpful when eventually speaking to someone about it.
Waited at home all day for an 08:00-20:00 collection, nobody turned up. Called this morning and had no apology, saying there’s a system issue. I asked why I wasn’t called to be informed of this, to which he relied “we don’t do that as there’s no team that do that, you need to call us”.
Bearing in mind their phone lines close at 16:00, but my delivery could have been collected at any point up until 20:00, this is ridiculous. He then said if I’d have checked online I would have seen an update, to which I advised I was checking the order every half hour all day.
He then became so defensive that he raised his voice claiming that I told him he was a liar?! Then called me “sarky” and offered no alternative other than waiting three more days for an investigation to be concluded.
This is not just an exception as it’s happened both times I’ve tried to use the service.
All in all a terrible/no service, coupled with a terrible customer service!

sent parcel - still showing out for delivery but after days like this I got the same parcel bak to my address with a different number. Spent 2 hrs trying to phone, finally got through and got cut off. Another hour and spoke to someone who just complained their computer was rubbish and they could not help - ring back next day. Still trying to get someone to pick up the phone - already been cut off once yet again. Nightmare

Lost parcel and for compesation asking for document that we have dropped it when they can see from their tracking. Also asking for proof of nondelivery when they failed to deliver! Asking for proof of value of the parcel!

I am absolutely appalled with this company!! I paid full insurance, next day delivery and signed for and they claimed to have delivered my parcel with no proof and when I tried to claim they give you a list of practically everything possible that’s not covered with their insurance. So no proof of delivery and £200 down I am appalled. Never send anything not even air with this company because they can’t be trusted

Words cannot describe how crap this company is . Please avoid at all costs. They break things, they fail to deliver , they wont let you contact them - the are also thieves because if you pay for any of the extra services you don’t get them! Absolutely the pits.

Only giving one star as I have to on this. Absolute joke trying to speak with ANYONE at this company. Live chat is a robot and phone line is automated with no option to speak to someone. No idea why retailers use them as a courier as it must cost a fortune in lost parcels and mistakes

The actual service is pretty good but when you need to contact them, its impossible. They do not want to hear from you. They have no email address and the phone number they give you is a complete joke. There is no one to talk to and their robot Holly, isnt any good either. Its so frustrating when you cant contact them and makes me not want to trust a company that you cannot contact. They owe me money back but no way of communicating with them.

Why is it not possible to give a…

Why is it not possible to give a NEGATIVE star rating, for such score is fully deserving of the worst courier Company in the UK?
My experience: lost items, broken in transit items, late and even non-delivery of items, failed collections from drop-off shops, refusal to refund for lost, broken and non-delivered items. Online complaints page know as Holly totally useless and deliberately taking you round in ever decreasing circles in the hope you get so exasperated you give up, the last circle being up your bum, they hope. This Company should be expunged from the face of the earth, forced to cease trading and its Directors exposed as montebank crooks and outright charlatans. My advice: DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARDGE POLE EVEN IF WEARING ASBESTOS GLOVES.
