Appalling service
Keen to grab your business. But after that totally useless. I had fraudulent activity on my bank account. I was advised to cancel and reset D/Ds. Which I did. MyJar D/D was not accepted again by my bank. So I pay by BACS monthly. Do they understand this....NO. Every month the same crap comes out. “You’ve not paid”..,.”Your loan is in arrears “....blah...blah...blah. I’ve emailed them every month and yet it seems nobody speaks to any other person in their offices. Next stop FSA.
Would I recommend them......not in a million years.

Raised an affordability claim 4018870
Raised an affordability claim they was quick and agreed I sent the document on 18/05 to agree the claim now waiting for the payment still I asked for update few days ago and got a response to say can’t provide one yet.
In need of the money now really. Had a good experience with myjar apart from waiting for the repayment.

I would have liked to have left a 2 and a half star review at this point, I sent in an affordability complaint and within 2 and a half weeks I received my finial written statement with an offer which I accepted that day (Friday evening) on the Monday I received a confirmation that my acceptance letter had been received. I was very happy with the service provided till this point. I understand I’m still within the waiting period for the refund to be sent but I asked for an update yesterday and my email was left unanswered. As you are aware my jar I have been greatly affected financially by the pay day loan sector and I’m in need more than ever of money. I would like to put this matter to bed and have my account closed ASAP. I understand that circumstances are very difficult just now due to the current climate. This has almost been 2 weeks since I have sent my acceptance document.
Once I have had this matter put to a close I will update my rating accordingly.
Updated rating. Thank you for rectifying this. My jar have answered before every deadline.

Unaffordable Lending Complaint
Raised an unaffordable lending claim in November 2019 which was originally rejected by Myjar. Escalated to the FOS, received an initial offer for loans dating back to 2014 due to the information they held on their current system, I rejected as I had earlier loans which I wanted to be included in the 6 year period and I had all the relevant loan information. Myjar offered to refund interest for all loans including adding on 8% interest and removing them from my credit file on 13th May and I received my redress on 21st May. Overall I am really happy with the way Myjar responded to my complaint, they responded within all of the deadlines given and paid the redress really quickly.
