Absolute sham of a company

Like others have said, I mysteriously received 2 messages from this company saying I had signed up to their subscription service. I had never even heard of them before, let alone signed up to their scam products.

£40 was taken and my network couldn’t do anything about it. I got an engaged tone whenever I rang these scamming swines and no luck with my bank either.

If you’ve got a message from them, it’s probably too late. Disgraceful.

A rogue company that uses direct carrier billing to charge you for services you did not buy

I have no interest in diet, weight loss or any of the online services that My Keto Guide purport to offer, but that did not stop them using direct carrier billing to charge £40 to my mobile phone bill.

This happened after I received two unsolicited text messages. The first said thanks for joining "My Keto Guide" (I hadn't)." and the second said "Thank you for your payment of £40" (which I hadn't knowingly made). I have never received an email, account details, login details or any form of contract or service agreement from this company. If I clicked on an internet link to this company's services that it was entirely unintentionally.

If you receive similar text messages out of the blue from My Keto Guide then I'm afraid you too have been ripped off.

If you want to understand more about how these scams work, just search for a website called Payforit Sucks.

I protested vigorously to my mobile phone provider (Talkmobile) and they eventually made a goodwill payment of £20. I also reported My Keto Guide to the National Fraud and Cyber Crime Reporting Centre.

MyΚetoGuide reported an earlier version of this review for being defamatory. Let's be clear - I will happily see them in a court of law to expose them for what they are: a rogue company that plunders consumers phone accounts via a scam based on the Payforit mechanism.
