Terrible company
Terrible company ; ordered antibiotics then I advised cancel the order as I needed antifungal, they wrote back saying the will charge a 5.00 admin fee🤬 for what there was not even 10 minutes from ordering to cancelling and they decided they should charge 5.00 pounds they are a terrible company under the Consumer credit act 2015 they are breaking the law and have been reported today
I need to respond after taking advice ;
UPDATE in response to the pharmacy:Darshan’s reply is a classic attempt to save face and is factually misleading.No "work" was undertaken. The cancellation request was submitted within 10 minutes of the order. This was processed immediately by an automated robot/system, not a human clinician. A server script running a cancellation does not incur a £5.00 administrative overhead under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
You did not issue this refund voluntarily. Your support team repeatedly refused to return my money, citing your terms and conditions. The refund was only forced after I had to formally escalate the issue and involve my bank.Potential customers should know that if they correct an automated order mistake within minutes here, this business will use automated systems to withhold your money until you involve a financial institution.
It is clear under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, mandatory administration fees must be transparent, upfront, and fair. Businesses cannot use hidden charges, surprise checkout fees, or unfair contract terms to trick consumers.Rules on Admin FeesUpfront Pricing: All mandatory fees—including admin or booking charges—must be included in the headline price from the very beginning of the buying process, banning drip pricing.Clear Description: Companies cannot just label a charge as a generic "admin fee"; they must clearly explain what specific service or cost the fee covers.No Refund Deductions: Businesses generally cannot deduct admin fees when returning money for statutory cancelled orders or faulty goods under your core consumer rights.Payment Surcharges: Extra fees for using specific payment methods (like credit cards) are strictly regulated or prohibited if they exceed the actual cost processed by the merchant.Fair Terms: Under unfair terms regulations, any default or cancellation administration charge written into a contract must reflect actual reasonable costs, not arbitrary penalties.

Our records show that you contacted us shortly after placing your order to request that your prescribed antibiotic be cancelled and replaced with an antifungal medication. As these are different prescription treatments, your request could not simply be amended and required the original order to be cancelled.
In accordance with our terms and conditions, an administration fee was applied to cover the work already undertaken in processing your order.
