This website is a complete scam. I went on tiktok and an ad came up for a portable gaming handset for £8.99. I clicked buy now and put in my card details. Once I clicked pay now I received an email from mylookbookclub saying I had started a subscription and was going to be charged £35 every 4 days. The initial £8.99 I paid for the handset went straight to them when I checked my online banking and they do not let you cancel your account for the first 24 hours unless you go on their live chat. complete scam!

Subscription issue resolved
I clicked on a link to receive a free Temu pallet and agreed to pay €2 towards shipping costs. A few days later I noticed that mylookbookclub had taken the €2 from my bank account, and then another €60... by the time i tried to stop this they had taken a second €60. They have agreed to cancel my "subscription " (to which i had not knowingly entered into) but will not refund me. They tell me i have "credits" to spend on cosmetics. I am a single man in my 50's and i am not interested in cosmetics. i did not enter into any true contract for this service..
And no sign of any Temu pallet either.
Mylookbookclub have now contacted me and promise to rectify the situation by refunding me. It seems there has been a genuine error and i have therefore adjusted my review rating to 4 star as Mylookbookclub are a responsible company who have now been very reasonable in their response to the issues i experienced.

Their customer service rang me today and have promised a full refund within 5-10 days I will repost when / if the money is refunded. I was impressed they rang me and want to amends- update ! The money is now refunded .

Scammers! DO NOT TOUCH. Samsonite suitcase showed people with their cases who had allegedly posted on Facebook. Bought item. Never received confirmation. Next thing I know I have subscribed to a monthly subscription. Been emailing them and they advised I never bought anything - out of pocket!
Update - I threatened legal action and they refunded me. Suggest you do the same.

I have been grossly cheated by your supplier, but it is of course okay that you demand a fee.
Can I get a bank statement for a police report against your supplier?
The answer back is this is a members club so we keep the £68 fee which is on your account.
The setup is that alleged sub-suppliers do not deliver, but simply charge repeatedly at intervals of weeks for the undelivered goods.
Stay away from the so-called, membership clubs, my wife has learned that.. Think it still a froud Company here after Update 15 november 2023.

Wouldn't even rate it a star but had to put something. Nothing useful to say they took two payments without my knowledge and nothing in return. Went onto their live chat asking why then they said they would cancel membership and i then tried to get a refund. She came back to tell me membership has been cancelled but as for a refund they couldn't do that so ended the call. I just kept going even told them what with the world we live in it's disgraceful that they can do this to me and others. Nothing but scum with a few ***** words to. Very cross and angry with them.

A few months later, I found the automatic deduction, which inexplicably deducted me several hundred euros. Communicate with customer service,I was very angry when I learned that I couldn't get a refund, so I tried to change it into points, but the customer service didn't agree.
