Many people found it easy to track calories, macros, and fluid intake, with features like barcode readers and food logs being particularly helpful. The only thing that really bothers me…

The only thing that really bothers me is logging system updates keep changing how quickly I can log food. And why does it constantly want to update my goals? But it is the best app I have found.

Very easy to use

Very easy to use. Straightforward interface and not overly complicated to log meals. The ai meal scan and barcode scan and picture upload make it so easy to log meals. I tried other apps but this one takes the cake.

Almost Awesome App

This app is a great first step towards becoming useful. The problem is that it forces the users to break up food intake into a series of defined meals, such as breakfast or dinner, in order for the system to adapt and respond to your body composition results. What is missing is the ability for people to choose to log food in a single, daily running list where we have simple visibility and ease of use; the app should be able to sort out and respond to our food list based on the time it is logged and nutritional profile, to give us useful feedback.

When using the AI feature

When using the AI feature, I noticed that it doesn’t actually measure or idea what you’re eating if you use a big plate with white space it’s more accurate than if you use a smaller plate with correct serving size. This can be a disadvantage to people who have to go by serving size and weight.

Thank you for this feedback! You're raising a great point about how plate size can affect the AI's portion estimates. Since the camera sees a flat image, it relies on visual cues to judge scale.

One tip that might help: try placing a fork or spoon next to the plate when you snap the photo. The utensils give the AI a familiar reference point to better judge the actual size of your food.

We're always working to improve accuracy, and observations like yours really help. If you have specific examples where estimates seemed off, feel free to share them at support@mynetdiary.com.

Hi Janine, thank you for reaching out about this. We understand how frustrating unexpected charges can be.

All billing for MyNetDiary subscriptions is managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. App developers like us don't have access to App Store billing and cannot make any charges. It's possible that both a monthly and yearly subscription ended up active at the same time, which would explain the extra charges.

You can check and manage your subscriptions by going to the Settings app on your iPhone, tapping your name at the top, then selecting Subscriptions. From there, you can cancel any duplicate subscription and also request a refund from Apple for any extra charges.

If you need any help sorting this out, please email us at support@mynetdiary.com. Our support team responds to all requests very quickly, typically within hours, and will be happy to help.

Best calorie counting app out there!

I love this app! It has been a staple in my weight loss journey and has genuinely helped so much. One of the best things about it is if you are just trying to baseline count your calories and SOME macros you can use the app for free! It’s amazing for those who don’t feel like paying for some of those other expensive apps! However, if you are super into it, you can also pay to see detailed macros and unlock other things like recipes and intermittent fasting. Overall wonderful app and I would totally recommend to anyone trying to lose weight!

Thanks, so far so good I'd like to loose more weight.
Thanks again, I'm thinking of getting premium version.

I have adhd and sometimes I honestly forget to feed myself but this past week I was just flat out sick. I wish there was an option to click that you can state that you are sick or neurodivergent so that it updates you differently.

Hi K_Schu, thank you for sharing this, and hope you're feeling better!

Good news: you can actually track sick days and how you're feeling using the Day Events screen. It has Health and Mood categories where you can log things like being sick, and you can see how those events trend over time. It's a really helpful way to give yourself context when looking back at your tracking.

You can find Day Events right on your Dashboard. If you don't see it there, scroll to the bottom of the Dashboard and tap the "Configure Dashboard" button. From there, you can turn on the Day Events display and move it to any place on the Dashboard that works best for you.

If you have trouble finding it or have ideas on how we could make it work even better for you, feel free to reach out to us at support@mynetdiary.com. We'd love to hear your thoughts!
