A month since my bike was collected and no sign of the money. Told now it will be another two weeks.

Really terrible customer support. They're clearly overwhelmed and understaffed.
We've been battling to get paid in full for 3 months now, and they eventually just stopped replying to us.

Bike sold 8th October. Not collected on the day selected. Still waiting for payment nearly 2 months later.

We decided to sell a Bike on My Next Bike, given they advertise an incredibly seamless transaction, however this couldn't be any further from the truth.
Their website states ' You'll be paid either two days after collection or when the buyer confirms that the bike has arrived as described (our policy to prevent any mis-selling on the platform), whichever comes first.' this couldn't be any further from the truth. It has been over 6 weeks since we sold the bike and we had confirmation a good 4-5 weeks ago that the purchaser had received the bike and confirmed everything was as it should be.
Assurances from your team that the moneys would be paid today, despite being incredibly over on the time you advertise. And yet again, NO MONEY!
Sent 2 messages to yourselves, if I don't hear back in the next few days I'll be taking this to a small claims court.

Update
------------------------------------
Money was eventually received, however this was several weeks late, appreciate that the company said this was due to the payment provider they use and that this had changed, however looking at other reviews this seems to be the same scapegoat answer used too.
A refund of some of the commission was also given as an apology for the wait.
You have an amazing concept, don't ruin it by offering a sub-par service. Pay your customers when you say you will and you'll do great.

The bike wasn't collected on the day I selected so I wasted a days annual leave. The bike was sold in mid October and I only received a part payment end of November. It is now December and I am still waiting for the remainder of my payment. This is not a review, these are facts. You can decide on the company!

I've sold multiple bikes through my next bike over the last 6 months and it's been brilliant.. buyers submit their offer and if accepted the guys at my next bike sort everything... There was an issue with late payments but Harry and the team kept me up to date as to why the payments where late due to an issue with the third party payment provider.. this has now been rectified and I was paid in full and now have more bikes advertised with them.. great platform highly recommend! Cheers Ben
After advertising my ebike on FB and having one idiot after another mess me about I decided to use my next bike. The bike sold within a couple of weeks. My next bike have a good robust system which protects both seller and buyer. They did have an issue with third party slowing down payment but my next bike were open and honest about this and you can trust them that you will get payment. Highly recommend.
Great platform! Received an offer within a day of putting my bike on the site and it sold the same day.
There were minor issues regarding payment, but I never let that bother me as I could tell that the owner was genuine about everything because of how transparent they were about it. Everything has been sorted. If you are looking for a site to sell your user bike or even pick up a new one, give this a shot!
Again kudos to the owners for creating a platform for buying and selling bikes! Cheers
Not the best experience. I sold my ebike through them back in October and received confirmation of the sale acceptance on 1st November. I was told/promised payment by 17th or 20th at the latest.
As of today (24/11) I had not received my payment and they were not responding to texts/emails sent over the past few days.
However after posting a negative review on here earlier today, I then received a call from them and the money was in my bank within 4 hours of the review.
I have therefore given one star as the bike was "sold" on the site and although the courier pickup needed several attempts before a successful collection was made, a further star for that. Harry was courteous and somewhat helpful so a third star for that.
It seems they are trying but being let down by their supply chain (courier/banking partners). I was told they have changed their payment partner to improve things so maybe it will get better.
It's a brilliant concept, especially for privately selling ebikes (which eBay won't touch) so let's hope they can improve in certain areas.

Bought a bike on this website, but bike never arrived
When asked they said seller cancelled the sale, but they didn’t inform me
Refund promised in 3 days. But actually it took 5 weeks after constant asking for my money
Avoid them or deal with them at your peril

This was a shambles from start to finish. My cannondale bike eventually sold on 14-Oct, no fault of Mynextbike, I know the market for second hand bikes is slow this time of year. I was called by Mynextbike and asked if I could arrange a quick collection that week as the buyer was very keen. Agreed to collection on 16-Oct, courier didn’t arrive, rearranged for 17-Oct, still no courier. My partner / myself waited in a further 3 days the following week before it was eventually collected, courier van broke down, then courier driver went over his legal driving hours so had to go home, unbelievable… during this frustration I was told by Mynextbike that a request for 50% reduction in my 14% sellers fee had been made. I requested full reimbursement due to the back and forth, having to wait in for 5 days and the complete frustration of the whole thing. After chasing for my payment, I eventually received my money 5 weeks and 1 day after the sale of my bike. To cap it all no reimbursement of my seller’s fees had been deemed appropriate. This was despite the buyer being refunded their courier fee because of the mess.. after my experience, continuing to wait for a refund of my fees, I would not recommend this site. Concept is great, execution is extremely poor.
UPDATE 02-Dec-25:
Eventually received 50% of my sellers fee back on 01-Dec-25. Not the full refund I’d requested due to the multiple issues with courier collection and delayed payment. Still just 1 * on my opinion and I still wouldn’t recommend..

As of today I have had no notification,or payment from my next bike or as you may have noticed any proof of either event.
Never the less I will continue with my journey.
I was instructed by my next bike to take the bike to a local repairer, get a quote and providing it was acceptable they would pay for the repair.
So far so good.
All local repairers said they would not look at the bike because the battery was an unspecified type and they did not have the diagnostics to look at it.
Without prompting I decided to approach the manufacturer Estarli.
This opened up a completely new and challenging encounter which tested my resolve way above the abilities of a mentally challenged mortal.

Harry is now exposed as a "future_ faker"
All he does is is paraphrase your last remark, wet your back and do nothing.
He has had loads of detail:
He has still not come up with proof of his offer.
He has had loads of detail about estarli below but pretends he has not.
How can you trust someone who is in denial.
Wait until I publish the rest.

I would remind you of your early promises.
I suggest you have a look at them.
Estarli has given me a letter saying in its condition the bike should never
have been sold.
The object of this excercise is not to ensure that my next bike does not
end up out of pocket.
Offer me £90 and having sown the wind you will reap the whirlwind.

Hi Ivan,
I’m still waiting on a reply from the person who can authorise the amount — I don’t think they’ll go for the full sum you mentioned, but there should still be a decent figure agreed. It’s looking like around £90, as we can’t go above the commission taken from the sale unfortunately.
Best regards
Harry

Harry was sent this at least two weeks ago.
I think the wriggler is appropiate when he pretends he has no knowledge of the outcome with Estarli
I will publish my email to him concerning estarli in my next episode.
Harry 75 that I have already paid plus 15 is maundy money.
I am not interested in what commission or courier costs you have incurred.
Thats nothing to do with me.
I have waited months to get the bike in working order.
I have saved you the cost of sending the bike back
I have completed numerous attempts to get the bike on the road.
I have travelled and transported the bike 50 miles for an unsuccesful repair.
As you have said you would cover my expenses I think the best thing I can do is get and independant expert to value my time.
As of today I have not had a penny from my next bike.
Harry implies he has no updates or outcomes from Estarli which is a “an out and out lie”
Below is my email to him finalises all my dealings with Estarli from weeks ago.
Harry has been asked to provide proof of an offer of £150 and any payments made to me.
Nothing has been submitted because it is another “out and out lie”
From the wriggler
If you can send me the update or outcome you received from Estarli, I’ll take it from here and make sure we get this sorted properly for you. You shouldn’t have to keep chasing or doing the legwork — let me handle that part.
The repair you sent us the quote for was £70. You then requested £200. We agreed to give you £150 as a goodwill gesture, — well above the original repair cost and above what we had promised, which was simply that you wouldn’t be left out of pocket. That’s the full figure.
Best regards
Harry
Hi Ivan,
From the wriggler
I understand your frustration and I’ve seen the note from Estarli — thanks for sharing that. I’ve passed it on to the person handling compensation reviews so they can take it into account before a final decision is made.
The intention here isn’t to short-change you, we just have to work within the limits of what’s possible based on the commission and courier coverage. I’ll make sure your case is properly reviewed before anything is finalised.
Best regards
Harry

Harry.
I am informed by estarli that my bike will be delivered back to me next week.
As you know my early dealings with them resulted in a one of their representatives mistakenly informing me that the bike was covered by the warranty.
They then about turned and said that as the bike was second hand it was not covered by the warranty.
I wrote to the directors and suggested I would expose them as a company who would not honour commitments made by their employees and representatives.
They then offered a good will arrangement to repair the bike free of charge.
I attach their repair findings.
I have already sent you the bill from Sutton Bikes.
I make the following proposal.
A payment of £200
that includes the £75 agreed

Sold my bike a few weeks ago through this site, it did take longer than expected but Harry was outstanding and kept me up to date with everything and promptly answered every one of my daily annoying emails so fair play to Harry for being an absolute gentlemen and definitely goes the extra mile for his customers.
Would highly recommend and if you have any concerns then email Harry.
Sold my e-bike with MyNextBike very quickly. Courier collected as arranged, on 21st October. I was a little concerned as I had no receipt or paperwork to prove it had been collected. However my concerns were unnecessary, I received an email a day after to say payment would be with us as soon as the buyer accepted that the bike was ‘as described.’ Agreed payment was very slow but I was kept informed with regular emails. Payment received today 19th November. I would definitely recommend this company.
I really like this platform for its ease of use, transparency in terms of listing and selling fees and protection offered during the transaction process. There was a delay to payout which made me think to leave only 4 stars, but I felt they made up for this by communicating well and again for the marketplace platform and process.
Company set up is great, They sold a bike I was struggling to sell. Bike was collected and delivered without me having to break it down or pack it. Excellent site.
Payment however: Took a long time. Longer than advertised. They said they had a problem with their 3rd party payment company. This can happen. Nonetheless,I should not have had to be wait past their deadline for payment.
Plus side. They took ownership and ensured payment was made and kept in contact throughout. They reduced their commission to cover my time and trouble. That's appreciated.

Bike as listed, also came with some extras, Pump, locks, and Helmet.
Delivery went well.Pleased with my purchase from my Next Bike.
Strongly advise against using this company. As with other reviews I haven't received payment.
My bike was sold on 28th Sept with payment due 10 working days later which means my payment is now 5 weeks late.
I had a call with the Owner when payment was 2 weeks late who said that the delay was the result of them switching the company who handle the financial transactions and was promised payment the following week once a business loan had been secured.
However, payment hasn't been received despite emails promising payment and there hasn't been a reply to my latest email.
Filings at Companies House indicate there have been developments this week but as I will never trust this company again and suspect I won't receive any money from them I felt obliged to write this review.
I will be taking my claim through the Small Claims Court.
