A very engaging Online School, great teachers and support. Looking forward to stay with this school. My kids are more then happy to have this school. Not being a native Englisch speaker was no problem at all.

We are travelling quite a lot because of our work, hence within MOS we have found some stability to our daughter education. She really enjoy her lessons and we are happy that she can learn in the best for her suitable way. Small groups on some of the subjects really help you to learn even in the better way.
It was a great decision and we cannot recommend enough this school for any child!

It's been a great experience at MOS, we've all enjoyed the experience. We are still getting used to the system but happy so far.

This year with My Online Schooling was great, my son felt accepted and happy.

Awful experience. Made a huge error signing up to MOS. Its like dealing with a huge corporate company, feels like they have no interest in your child and their education. The worst thing - only one of my childs teachers were teaching as I would have expected. My advice is to look elsewhere!

Mixed Experiences..

It all started off well, but too many mishaps have led me to consider other options.

Pros:
1. The material taught follows the NC
2. Many timetable options to allow for flexibility
3. MOS is good to make adjustments when needed
4. Unlike other reviews, the teachers do get in touch if the child is slipping
5. Points and scoring given for participations
6. Things eventually do get resolved
7. MOS keeps you up to date with attendance and assignments

Cons:
1. The assignment scoring emails are too confusing - not in content but in reflecting the actual score. Eg. you sometimes get a zero score, only to learn that all this means is the assignment is submitted.
2. If any mock paper fails to submit - user or system error - you will only find out when the teacher mocks (no pun intended) your child for not submitting the paper. They have nothing in place to confirm submission or otherwise.
3. No regular summarised updates of progress. You will have to study their system, only to realise much of the scoring is missing anyway.
4. Poor timetable management if the child is split over two years - I had to fight to help them understand that I should not be paying for two sessions that clash at the same timeslot
5. Expensive
6. High churn rate of teachers - so consistency of teaching and quality really suffered over the last year
7. Too much material taught over Youtube - which you can imagine leads the child to anything except concentrating on studies
8. The tech used by MOS doesn't lockdown the PC to restricted apps - so all distractions remain available. .. This one is probably an issue in general and I believe the first online school that can lockdown the PC during classes to the teaching apps only - will lead the way.

Our son has settled in really well to his first term a MOS. The teachers have been diligent and responsive. The technology used is first class. The school tries hard to function as a complete school and not just a set of unconnected lessons.

We have been slightly surprised at the low level of work expected outside of class (ILAs), given that some subjects are just one hour a week. However, perhaps this will change given that was the first term in secondary school

We joined MOS during November 2021. My daughter has suffered from school phobia for years, and simply could not settle into Year 7 at upper school. I had read good things about MOS from various school phobia platforms, and thought it was something that may help. What a difference! She loves the teachers, the non-stressful environment, the ability to interact in so many ways - video, microphone or just typing into chat. She is engaged with schooling and goes to sleep at night without worries about school the next day. I have found the teachers easy to approach and Mike Sayers (our success co-ordinator) has been so kind and attentive to any questions or concerns that we have had - thank you Mike. I cannot fault the school and the best move we ever made! Thank you.

My son studies his Y8 british curriculum online with MYONLINESCHOOLING. I couldn’t have been happier, the delivery of the curriculum was very good. He took 9 subjects and was engaged throughout. All homework was marked within a day and very good feedback. His attendance was properly monitored. Class participation was encouraged and this was reflected in the report card grade. overall an excellent experience.

The book list is absolutely vague. My son was bot able to complete so many assignments because the specific book that was included was not available from amazon or book depository. I ordered really expensive books and my son has not opened them once because the teacher is not teaching from them. It is an international school but the books listed are not easily available. perhaps they could focus more on providing online materials.

Ma'am Emma , is wonderful teacher. She is very patient and understanding teacher. Hassan Ali of grade 4G always looks forward to attending classes and learning more. The classes are very interesting. She is very quick at replying any queries Hassan has.

Ample activities - It is lovely to see my son engage in home based learning activities that enhance classroom knowledge. That way, it's easier to understand things learnt in class. However, I would wish that they give several options for materials to be used considering lock-down and also we live 250km from the city and resources can be difficult to get.

So far we are satisfied with the school, however occasionally sometimes we face technical difficulties like to replay a missing class,but overall its a very good quality education.

MOS offers an alternative to traditional brick and mortar schooling that provides students the ability to take control of their learning and build their independence. Students are also introduced to the world of digital skills, preparing them for an easier transition to higher education and permanent employment.

We had a great learning experience with your school. Khalid chose to go an extra mile to achieve. He was motivated and enjoyed the classes/lessons which were engaging and made his learning experience a fun and rewarding one.

Over all, I would say the learning experience has been good for my teenage son. He enjoys his lessons and the teachers are good at engaging their students. Sadly, the Computing lessons were terrible and certainly not worth paying for and that is why I have dropped a star from this review. My son was losing the will to learn, so he had to drop computing despite the best efforts of the school to resolve the situation. We paid by term so lost the money we had paid for the computing course. I am really glad we did not pay for the full year up front! Despite this negative experience I would say the school is definitely worth a try. The flexibility it allows is excellent and it’s relatively easy to communicate when there is an issue with anything. The school really did try hard to address our issues with the poor computing lessons. I hope they are able to improve those soon and that others can have a far more satisfactory experience in those lessons.

A significant number of supply lessons with very little help or guidance. Shocked at the lack of exam prep in subjects such as maths and science. Not being taught how to answer longer essay style questions in subjects like business. No idea of AOs and how these help to answer questions. A number of what seems very inexperienced teachers. This has led to withdrawal from some subjects and employing tutors 1 term before GCSEs. English very good. I would not recommend this school from a parental perspective or from an educator of 20+ years. Very disappointing.

I am disappointed in the lack of support for my son. He has requested 1:1 support in class and after class by his math teacher, only to be told that she doesn't provide 1:1 support. When I have raised my questions with the parent liaison and school team I am directed to study groups that we would have to pay for.
