Mytrip operate a click and bait platform. They provide good prices on the search. After you go over 5 thousand options for your flight and finally get to the payment section. Start inserting the card details to submit payment and then the famous message for "The airline fare has increased and now is xxxx amount".
Tried this process several times and all the times it was the same thing. Even searching directly on their website the same happens.
End of the day went directly to the airline website and book my flight for less than using Mytrip.

Title: 50+ days of silence after submitting all refund documents
I booked flights Almaty → Ho Chi Minh for 5 people (Order 1105-178-394). Three days before departure my arm was injured (acute phase, immobilization). I immediately contacted Mytrip and requested a refund due to medical emergency.
Mytrip accepted my case. By March 7, 2026 I had submitted everything they requested: medical certificate with English translation, marriage certificate, and 3 children's birth certificates.
Since March 5, 2026 — complete silence. I sent follow-up messages on March 12, March 29, and April 16 with formal deadlines. Zero responses. It has now been 50+ days since my last communication from Mytrip.
The portal shows status "In Progress." No refund. No explanation. Total amount: 683,825 KZT (~1,400 EUR) for 5 passengers including 3 children.
I am now filing a complaint with the EU ODR platform and contacting China Eastern Airlines directly to verify whether the refund was already released to Mytrip.
I expect a response and resolution immediately.

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience
Our experience with this airline was completely substandard and shows a total lack of respect for customers. We were a group of five standing at the check-in desk and were confronted with an overbooking situation. Despite arriving on time, we were simply told that we were “on standby” and therefore could not board the flight.
What makes this even worse is the way it was communicated to us: we were told that we were merely there to “fill small gaps in the seating.” In other words, customers are deliberately used as a buffer, without any guarantee or proper treatment.
The result? All five of us were forced to return home, with no solution offered, no empathy shown, and no sense of responsibility taken by the airline.
This feels like a form of legalized fraud: selling tickets without guaranteeing a seat, and leaving customers to deal with the consequences of their commercial strategy.
I strongly advise against using this airline. Reliability and customer care are clearly not a priority here.
Endless waiting and no solutions!
1 hour waiting to get an agent to talk to, then referred 5 times to another agent. Mytrip only likes to sell, but once there are problems arising, customers need to solve their own problems directly with the airline company. Mytrip refuses to take accountability. They don't care about customer service or bad reviews. The only reason why they have customers is because they are cheap. Please stay away from them if you want to avoid any stress.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by MyTrips. Despite the ongoing military conflict in Egypt, the company has refused to offer any flexibility with my booking. I requested either a cancellation, rescheduling, or even a simple name change for the passenger, and all options were denied.
This lack of understanding and customer care is unacceptable, especially given the circumstances. Travelling to a destination affected by conflict raises serious safety concerns, yet the company appears more focused on rigid policies than on the wellbeing of its customers.
I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with MyTrips. In situations where you might need support or flexibility, you may find yourself completely unsupported.

Absolutely shocking customer service, I have been repeatedly gaslight with my genuine question never answered.
Instead the keep spewing the same generic nonsense reply even though my flights are getting closer and the have not answered my question!

We booked cab from Delhi airport to Ramnagar, three days prior, no information given about the driver. We waited more than one hours. Call them but not accepting the call, as it claimed, there is no booking on the number, which was not correct. Having a chat from the app was total waste of time as the AI was responding with standard chat, not clearly not addressing the issues.
We didn’t any alternative, but to book a local taxi.
Scammers disguised as travel platform- Stay away
Never use this travel platform. My experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
I had booked 4 tickets from Dubai to Tokyo (round trip), and due to the Middle East conflict, the airline cancelled the journey. What followed was a nightmare — their customer service was nearly impossible to reach, and it took almost 2 months of constant follow-ups (twice a week) just to get my refund processed.
Even worse, despite the airline confirming a full refund, they deducted AED 790 without clear justification.
Be very cautious — this platform lacks professionalism, transparency, and reliability. Based on my experience, they are real scammers & I strongly advise others to stay away.

This is the worst travel agent I have had a transaction with in my life. I bought a ticket from them in May 2025, airline canceled my return flight. I bought a ome way to NY due to my work.. Reported to Mytrip.com as soon as I landed. Since June 3rd 2025, I am yet to receive my refund. They are sending me back and forth with ETHIOPIAN AIRLINE for refund.
