I booked a flight through MyTrip which was subsequently cancelled by Turkish Airlines. What should have been a straightforward refund process has turned into an absolute nightmare.
After chasing MyTrip for my refund, I was promised a response within 7 days. That deadline came and went with no reply, no refund, and no communication whatsoever. Despite multiple follow-up attempts, I am still being ignored.
As a booking agent, MyTrip has a legal obligation to process refunds for cancelled flights promptly — under EU Regulation 261/2004, this should be within 7 days. They have failed to meet this basic requirement.
I am now left with no choice but to pursue legal proceedings, file a formal complaint with the relevant consumer protection authority, and initiate a chargeback through my card provider.
If you are considering booking with MyTrip, please be aware of how they treat customers when things go wrong. Taking your money is the easy part — getting it back is a different story entirely.

Just as I pressed the buy button to purchase my flights, suddenly an alert came up claiming the tickets just so happened to increase in price by 50 euro?

Scam company - do not use MyTrip
My flights were rescheduled meaning connecting flights could not be caught.
So all I need is a refund from MyTrip.
I've pursued the refund I'm owed via email, phone, MyTrip's online chatbot and via a third party dispute resolution company.
I have not been able to get a response from the company AT ALL.
I've failed to get through to anyone on the phones (on hold endlessly). The chatbot is beyond useless (times out without constant attention). The email thread that they instigated, and in which they request that I reply with my chosen action in response to the flight scheduling change, is now just a thread of emails from me to the wind.
The third party resolution platform has facilitated only a pointless cycle of autoresponses from MyTrip requesting permission to use my data. I have not had any kind of meaningful response there.
My original trip departs in a couple of days. I have already rebooked with a different provider. So at present MyTrip have my money and I am still booked on to flights that I have no intention of taking.
It seems there is no avenue to secure a refund from this company and I would strongly recommend that travellers AVOID BOOKING WITH MYTRIP.

The airlines change the flight because of what was happening in the middle east. I contacted them 2 weeks prior to the flight for a cancellation and refund.
Apparently, someone didn't process the refund and i was a marked as a no show even though i was assured that it will be cancelled and full refund.
Now, I have been trying to call them for days but no answer. Each time I try to talk to customer service, i wait for 3 or 4 hours minimum just to tell me that there's nothing they can do because the airline marked me as a no show even though the mistake is that they didn't process my request on time.
Very unprofessional! Liars, they never got back to me even though everytime they said that they will.

Borderline thievery. Avoid at all costs
How is this company still standing with this borderline thieving operation they have going on? They will NOT give you a refund if your flight got cancelled by the airline. I have contacted the airline who told me that the refund is already been processed from their side, but mytrip has been delaying this as much as possible because they are a scum company and they want you to get sick of this so they can keep the money. Avoid at all costs. These guys suck.

Do not use this company. They will try to scam you out of your money. There is no customer support, which is especially critical when you're traveling and need assistance from the booking agency?? I am entitled to a refund from the airline, but MyTrip is handling the refund process. However, their email always comes from a "noreply" address, and I have never received any actual message or response from the company whatsoever. Do not use them.
