Smooth process. Everything worked easily. Keeping the total value under £50 kept the shipping costs low to Australia.

Amazing service.

I was disappointed after learning a product I was excited to purchase wasn't available to ship to the US. I no longer have friends in the UK, so I didn't have a source to send product.

A friend who used to live in the UK sent me a link to UKMailbox. They made it very easy to have the product sent to the unique address created for me, and in less than one week,

I will be glad to use this service in the future.

I was skeptical at first...

I was skeptical at first because I've never used this kind of service before, but there was a particular item that was available in the UK and no longer available in the US. However, the ease and access to support when I had a question made it super simple. I ended up having to use the Buy For Me service since the website I wanted to purchase from required a UK billing address as well. But it was so painless! The only downside was the tariffs and cost for shipping the one item. But I'd also like to give a shout-out to Jon Ball for the excellent communication throughout the transaction. I would highly recommend this service if it's the only way to obtain an item.

Hidden Fees and No Communication — Very Disappointing Experience

MyUKMailbox very clearly advertises “No hidden fees. No surprises.” Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I paid $65.30 USD upfront to have a small, lightweight envelope shipped to the United States. When it arrived, their carrier DHL refused to release it unless I paid an additional $24.40 USD.

I contacted MyUKMailbox by phone, email, and through their website, but received no response. As of this writing, I still haven’t received my package, so I cannot say whether further charges will follow.

The company’s lack of communication and unexpected extra costs are deeply disappointing. Despite their advertising, hidden fees are very much a reality. Buyer beware.

Our statement of “no hidden fees” refers to our own service charges. We do not add any unexpected costs beyond the prices shown for our forwarding and shipping services, and we clearly display all of these charges on our pricing page. As stated in our Terms and Conditions, customs duties, import taxes and any fees levied by couriers or customs authorities are not included in our shipping charges and remain the responsibility of the receiver.

The additional amount requested by DHL relates to import duties and taxes charged by customs in your destination country. These are government imposed fees that apply to certain shipments and are outside our control.

We understand this can be frustrating, but these charges are not hidden or applied by myUKmailbox.

What a great service

What a great service. They do exactly what they claim to do and they do it perfectly. I was a bit apprehensive but they have earned my trust. Their pricing is also very competitive and reasonable.

Good with 2 caveats

Relatively straightforward process. 3 stars because:
1. I phoned and left a message about having trouble during the payment process and never heard back.
2. DHL was supposed to deliver the package yesterday and email this info. Not a peep from them either.
