Paid €35 for a full report of a car I wanted to buy in NI, to see if the car UK or NI registered. The report gave me no information on previous owners or the current location of registration. Waste of money!!
Great customer service support
I have used My Vehicle for history and finance background checks for a number years to support our business and our clients.
Very happy with the service provided online and also the support from the customer service team.
On a few occasions, I have called for assistance on certain background checks and the customer support team have always gone the extra mile to help. Support team always follow up with a call back to confirm any request asked.
The service My Vehicle offers is invaluable to our company and our customers.
Very grateful to all the staff in My Vehicle for their professionalism and excellent customer service. Great to see an Irish company providing such an important service to the public and other Irish businesses.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Do not use this company to check your vehicle. I used them before purchasing a 2 year old car. The report came back with nothing of concern. I purchased the car. Two days later I get a call from my insurance company to say the car is on INSURER ALERT. That they would not insure the car without a full engineers report. They told me they got the information from CARTELL.IE. I purchased a report from Cartell.ie and instantly it showed a DAMAGE alert and insurer alert. I emailed and phoned MyVehicle.ie asking for a full refund as the information they supplied was not comprehensive. I read their terms and conditions and insurer alerts are part of the information they should supply. They refused to refund me. DO NOT USE THEM. You will not get a full picture of the history of a proposed vehicle. WASTE OF MONEY.

Dissatisfied + Dissapointed
Paid for report and phoned them straight away when I got the online report to query mileage check which I had a question about. Nobody would answer phone so I left a message on voicemail as instructed. Waited 37 hrs for reply but NOTHING. So back online to another Car Report company Cartell who were excellent,a little bit more expensive but fast and responsive.

Mileage Tampering
Did a vehicle check on a car I was buying for a friend, this simple vehicle check saved me buying an absolute Lemon 🍋
The mileage had somehow gone down between NCT's
Do your paperwork and homework folks, the person your buying your dream car from may seem friendly, but it's a business transaction at the end of the day.

Very Poor
Terrible review issued with hidden costs everywhere - If this check flags any issues it looks for additional payment to see the flagged issue. The information provided is very poor. DONT USE THESE...much better car check sites available. After using these I had to go and use another car check which was head and shoulders ahead of these, My only regret was using this site first as I ended up paying a secondary car check site to get adequate information.
The attitude in the below response just show cases the caliber of company that this is. Maybe instead of responding with obnoxious responses, work on improving your site to be in line with your competition.

A waste of time
I asked my vechile .ie to do a vat and customs check on a car I was importing from Northern Ireland. The information they gave me was wrong, which caused me countless hours of stress over the following couple of days. I even rang them to clarify the report and I was promised a phone call back on a couple of occasions..Needless to say the call never came..I did however buy the car and no vat or customers was payable.

Utterly pointless, expensive exercise
Utterly pointless exercise. Ran an Irish car check on a 161D reg. No mileage history information available- this car is an import. Silly me. I assumed that a €34 top-of-the-range check would provide a bells-and-whistles report.
No. Just the Irish history - which is zero.
Rang up and asked if they expected me to pay again for a check on it's UK history. Was told there was no UK history available for this car.
How do they get away with this s$$t?
In response:
I did state that I purchased an Irish report. What else would I request with a 161D reg.?
Given that you were aware that the car was a recent import, why would you charge me €34 for an utterly worthless report and not offer a refund when I phoned?
You say the car was registered in Germany but the reg you gave: three digits - two letters - four digits does not concur with standard German reg format.
Indeed the "Market Destination and Country of Registration:" is BLANK!
It seems I'm not the only one prone to errors, but then I'm not charging for the information.
I was incorrect in assuming it to be a UK import but, given that it is right-hand-drive, I'll forgive myself that one.
My point is that you have charged me top whack for a car 'history' that consisted of two weeks sitting in a dealership in this country. There is nothing of value to a person considering buying a 7+ year-old car.
You may consider that to be a reasonable proposition. I do not.
TO SUMMARIZE:
● The initial reg search page gives no indication that the car is an import, nor does it suggest that an Irish-only history might be inadequate.
The next page up is the payment page!
●The initial search page states that they have 'over 40 pieces of information about THIS car - NOT TRUE!
● The 'Myvehicle Team' claim that their report states that the car was first registered in Germany - NOT TRUE.
●They also claim that it is appropriate to charge €34 for a history that amounts to a record of all that might have happened to a car whilst sitting in an Irish dealership for the past two weeks.
I'll leave that to your judgement.
All this could have been easily resolved by a clearly justifiable refund - tells you a lot about the kind of people you are dealing with.
PLEASE NOTE THE FAILURE TO RESPOND TO MY REBUTTAL

Don't even think of using them
Don't even think of using this lot. As per previous reviewers, their data is invention. I've full reports from garages and inspections to disprove their data but they refuse to even talk with me. Their operator Vlad is possibly the most obnoxious person I've met, refused to advise me and refused to put me through to anybody else. Talking over me continuously with "Buy another report" or "email us". I'm certain the senior person either won't reply to thus or give a huge reply attempting to justify. But no matter what, as with other reviews it's all lies.
Edit as requested: Myvehicle refused to give an explanation why a car I have owned for 20 years suddenly had it's mileage bumped up by 100000 miles and they refused to help or do anything about their rogue agent who did it. I know this because I bought a review of my own car so their assertions in their response are false. In fact their response is like their report, lies and fabrication. Are they so stupid that they can't see that I'd have to have bought a report to know that the report is lies. What a contrast between this company customer service and others.
